Elucent Even Tone Night Moisturiser

I was attracted to this moisturiser as it contains niacinamide and I like to use it after using my retinols. Really felt that the vitamin E skin also was helping my skin not become irritated. This moisturiser was thick, absorbed easily and really soothed my skin. It felt quite luxurious putting it on. I was happy with the packaging, it was simple, looked stylish. I am in my 40s and worry about uneven skin tone. I felt like my skin looked great while using this product, would definitely recommend it to others and would happily buy it again.

This brightening night moisturiser comes in a 50g jar. The contents are white with a whipped texture. The formula contains niacinamide, a superstar ingredient that brightens and prevents fine lines, safflower seed oil which is an antioxidant and emollient, Emblica Fruit Extract as a natural source of vitamin c, Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate which is a stable and oil-soluble vitamin C derivatives, Vit E for skin health and lactic acid as an exfoliant. This is quite thick and a bit suffocating on my combination skin. There is fragrance but it is barely noticeable. I think it would suit people with skin on the drier side better. The concentration of brightening ingredients aren't high enough for me to notice any difference for my skin, but perhaps it is better used with the complete Elucent brightening range.

This is perfect for me. I hate heavy creams and have a massive issue with some fragrances and ingredients. This has cetearyl alcohol which can irritate my skin but I have had no irritation from this. It feels absolutely lovely on my skin, works in well so that it isn't greasy and in the morning my skin looks refreshed and clear. The jar is easy to hold and even though the cream appears thick it is possible to spread it thinly so that you don't end up with a feeling of heaviness. Almost no fragrance with vitamin B3 and vitamin E I have found this to be as good as any night cream I've used. I often stay away from a night cream, using a serum instead but this allows me to use a night cream without any difficulty. I haven't used it long enough to determine whether pigmentation will fade and I have little pigmentation but as a general purpose night cream that is lovely to use, this ticks all my boxes.

After initially removing the security removable seal which I enjoy for freshness I have been using this moisturiser for the past two weeks at night after cleansing my skin. Medium in consistency and has a almost whipped like texture, creamy in colour I take a pea sized amount of the moisturiser and gently massage it into my face and add a little more to my fingertips for my neck. Although I enjoy massaging this into my skin I find it take quite a while to absorb into my skin some of it stays on the surface for quite a while. It has a mild scent which doesn’t linger once massaged into the skin. After my first use I woke up with a breakout on my jaw which tends to happen when a product is too rich for my skin so used it every second night for the two week period. I still continued to have a few more breakouts so thought about using it once or twice a week (I have combination skin) after the trial period to see if I can continue using this for any futher results. I was pleased regardless of the few breakouts that’s my skin was well moisturised and felt as if it appeared brighter. I am looking forward to using this further and would recommend this to those with dry to normal skin types and those that want to brighten their skin.

I have oily but dehydrated skin so I’m always on the lookout for a night-time moisturiser that packs hydration back into my skin without adding oil; and I’ve been really happy with the Elucent Even Tone Night Moisturiser! I ruined my skin barrier in my early 20’s by over stripping my skin so I have to be quite careful with the number of products I use in my day-to-day skincare routine and how they all work together. So, I really appreciate that this moisturiser not only hydrates the skin but has ingredients that works on a really wide range of skin concerns. I’ve been using this product for about 4 weeks now and I definitely think my skin is more hydrated and smoother.

This was a lovely night cream! A little goes a long way. I enjoyed using this cream after a toner and beyond my night oils. It made for the perfect super hydrating base in my night skin routine. It had a subtle but lovely smell and a silky soft texture. The little jar is super chic too and added to the aesthetic of my skincare shelf! Lol. I would recommend this product for anyone with dry skin that likes to pack moisture in over night. I don’t have sensitive skin so this product worked a treat for me!

Have been using this Elucent Even Tone Night Moisturiser for almost a month now. I've been using it every night and apply the cream on my face and neck after cleansing. Love the simple box and jar packaging. I have quite a bit of pigmentation on my skin and it has reduce and lighten up some of them and it has improved my complexion. It takes a while to see the result but it's worth it for the wait as it helps with my pigmentation and skin tone. Love the result of my skin from using this product and planning to purchasing the next jar and continuously use it to get a even better result of my skin pigmentation.

I received this product to trial as part of the Beautycrew Autumn VIP box. I was interested to receive this product as I hadn’t heard of the brand Elucent before, and I’m all for supporting quality Australian made products. I quite liked the jar it came in, it’s very solid and has a lux feel to it. The cream didn’t really have a distinguishable fragrance to it, but it is a very thick, creamy consistency. It was a lot thicker than some creams I’ve tried before, and I believe it will last a fair while as a little does go a long way. I haven’t noticed any huge changes to the appearance of my skin over the few weeks that I have been using it, however I am fortunate to not have any dark spots to treat. I did, however, wake up feeling my skin was well moisturised. My only issue would probably be that because it is quite a rich formula, I did feel it left my skin a bit greasy over the warm summer nights. But I definitely feel it will be more beneficial as we come into the drier winter months, which I am looking forward to testing out as dry patches tend to appear on my face!

I was lucky to receive this product as part of a VIP box! I was very excited to trial this product because I'm always on the lookout for products that will even my skin tone. I tend to have quite uneven skin tone particularly on my cheeks. After using this product every night for about a month I have noticed an reduction in the redness on my cheeks which has been great. This moisturiser is on the thicker side, which I don't mind for a night moisturiser because it has the time to soak in and work while I sleep! It has a light scent which I can't quite place what it is, but it's not unpleasant at all. I would recommend this product!

I was introduced to the cruelty free Elucent range years ago by my medical cosmetologist after some intensive laser treatments for pigmentation. I highly recommend this range and their products are high quality and reputable. This Elucent Even Tone Night Cream is no exception to the other products. It was a lovely rich cream which I like. It was brightening as well as moisturising. I have dry skin and do need a richer product so this night cream didn’t disappoint. It left my skin feeling smooth, replenished and bright. The active ingredients work to reduce pigmentation and illuminate the skin. I felt my skin looked more even and less pigmented after using this product and I’m pleased with the fact there wasn’t a trade off for the level of hydration. Great night cream and I would recommend it.

I love a product that can be applied and do all the hard work while I sleep! After removing the tub of cream from its box and removing the lid the first thing I noticed was that it had a protection/freshness seal which I rarely see and think is fantastic. I have been using this cream now for over a month at night and have noticed my skin appears more bright & even. I had to use this product a couple of nights a week to start with as I have combination skin and would get a couple of breakouts the next morning when using it nightly. After cleansing my skin at night I applied a pea size amount to my fingertips warmed it up and lightly massaged it into my skin. It has a very light pleasant scent and melts into my skin like butter it takes a little longer to absorb into my skin so I have been mindful to spend a bit longer gently massaging it in well. I would recommend this cream to others wanting a moisturiser that evens the skin tone and brightens their skin.

The Elucent Even Tone Night Moisturiser would have the thickest moisturiser I have ever used. To me it odly smells like a curry. I only need to use the smallest amount of this moisturiser because it's so thick and I warm it between my fingers before applying to kind of melt it down a bit. The consistency kind of reminds me of a tub of butter. It takes a little bit of time to absorb and if I touch my skin my fingers are all shiny. I've also noticed it makes my pillowcases a bit greasy. It does do a good job at hydrating my skin but it's just not right for me because it makes my skin look and feel too greasy. Not something I would recommend for combination skin. I can't use this nightly. It's something my skin can only tolerate once or twice a week.

I have been using the Elucent Even Tone Night Moisturiser consistently for over a month and have noticed several wonderful benefits. Firstly, this cream feels rich to the touch but melts beautifully into the skin without leaving a sticky or greasy film. A little goes a long way. The greatest benefit has been that this one product contains a combination of powerful active ingredients which means I don't have to apply separate products to treat a number of my skin issues. I found that this moisturiser contributed to a subtle reduction in a pigmentation spot on my forehead with consistent application and I expect I will see ongoing improvement as I continue use. I enjoyed the hydration this moisturiser offers and felt it was completely adequate as a stand alone night cream to treat multiple skin issues. I didn't experience any irritation at all with this product however my skin is already accustomed to actives and therefore acclimated without issue to the Elucent Even Tone Moisturiser.

I really like this Elucent Even Tone Night Moisturiser. I revcieved it in the beauty crew V.I.P. Box. I have been using it for over a week now. The first two applications gave the most noticeable change. My dark spots faded a lot. The subsequent night my dark spots havnt faded any more but my face is now a lot more hydrated. This moisturiser really soaks into my skin well and leaves it super hydrated. I would purchase this again as I fee it has done a great job at evening my skin tone and hydration.

After cleansing and applying the Spot Corrector to areas of pigmentation and spots left by acne scarring, I applied a few dabs of the night cream to my face. I found that the night cream left my face feeling quite moisturised and by morning it felt like it had fully absorbed into my skin and was reaping the benefits of vitamins C and E, emblica fruit extract and safflower seed oil overnight. Unfortunately, after using both the Spot Corrector and Day and Night Moisturisers, I started to experience a tickly or itchy sensation on my face and neck. Three to four days after using the three products, I also awoke to an allergic reaction on the bottom of my chin and neck with a lot of tiny bumps but they were not itchy. I stopped using the products until my skin cleared up. After using the three products a second time, in addition to the itchiness, my eyes became very dry and itchy which was very uncomfortable as a contact lens wearer. The skin on my face became very dry and tight, initially I had thought this was due to the windy weather we had experienced however this dryness persisted and was very uncomfortable. I again ceased using the products and reverted to my usual skincare products and after a week used the three products again. I only used the day care routine of Spot Corrector and Day Moisturiser and again felt very itchy for a couple of days even though I had stopped using the products after that morning.  As I used all three products, it was difficult to identify which product was causing an adverse reaction. Unfortunately, as I couldn’t isolate the problem product, I am reluctant to continue to use the night cream, even though I did find the product much more enjoyable to use compared to the day moisturiser and spot corrector.

I did experience some minor reduction to one spot on my face, but to achieve that I had to tolerate dry, tight skin that took weeks to recover.  It definitely wasn’t worth it for me.  Above average marks for the fact that it did have some effect on reducing pigmentation, but effectiveness is very dependent on the type of pigmentation you have so it’s really a lucky dip whether you have the type of pigmentation that could be improved with the use of this cream and that’s pretty impossible to predict.  Overall I wouldn’t recommend because the desired result isn’t guaranteed, but the likelihood of irritation is high.

I have a few pigmentation spots on my face due to sun exposure so decided to try this product to see if they would fade. While they didn’t totally disappear they are certainly a lot less visible. This is a lovely silky rich cream that is easy to use from the stylish tub. It’s non greasy and sinks straight into skin. My skin feels really soft and smooth when using this, it feels light to wear, it has huge moisturising properties and has evened out my skin tone. I use it before bed to combat my sun damage and to regenerate my skin. It is brighter and looks more dewey. It’s full of vitamins and goodies to do my skin good and at under $50.00 it’s good value and I don’t need a lot. Overall a great product I would buy again
