Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Powder Makeup SPF 10

I love this compact! This powder is silky smooth & and provides amazing coverage. Used on its own or over liquid foundation, it gives a good & even coverage with a matte finish. I like to use it over Estée Lauder Double Wear liquid foundation for best results, though find I need to go up a colour to achieve the tone to match the foundation. The little mirror in the compact is also perfect for touch ups on the go!

I love this product. It looks and feels so good and light on the skin. I use it on top of the Estée Lauder double wear liquid foundation if I want more coverage/a completely flawless look. It is very easy to apply, and the sponge that it comes with is great. It is a little pricey, but I find that it lasts a while and is worth the money.  

This is one of the best powder foundations I have ever tried! I love the Double Wear liquid foundation as it truly lasts all day long. However on those days when I'm in too much of a hurry or just can't be bothered layering on my makeup I quickly apply this powder over my moisturiser and it still lasts all day long like the liquid version! The compact comes with a dual-sided sponge, depending on what coverage you want; either heavy or sheer. The coverage is medium but  I find it is buildable to provide full coverage without every looking cakey and unnatural. I really like that this powder doesn't dry out my skin or settle into fine lines, even though it is a long-wearing and oil-free powder. I find the finish is semi-matte so it doesn't feel tight or look like a mask, which is always an issue I have with long-wearing matte powder foundations. One major advantage is that there is a large selection of shades available to suit most skin tones, and this powder can therefore easily be paired with the liquid Double Wear foundation to provide extra flawless and long-wearing coverage. However I would recommend getting foundation colour matching done with this product especially if you have fair-light skin, as there are limited options for lighter skin tones. I have combination skin with slightly large pores, however every time I use this powder either with or without foundation or a BB cream my skin still manages to look smooth and flawless. This powder can be used with any foundation, BB/CC cream or tinted moisturiser and the colour lasts all day without turning orange. I really recommend this product to anyone who wants a powder foundation that lasts all day, even in hot weather and provides medium coverage. If you don't like spending a long time in front of the mirror blending liquid foundations then this product is definitely for you! I think it would suit most skin types except for very dry skin as the finish is semi-matte. I will definitely continue to repurchase this powder foundation, as it provides perfect, lasting coverage. Honestly the best finishing powder I have EVER used. This will always be in my make-up regime.  Doesn't look cakey once applied, it gives your complexion a flawless look. I only apply the powder twice a day (if wearing foundation) - once in the morning when getting ready and once after lunch when I have finished 'touching up'. I probably don't need to re-apply in the afternoon but I just love the flawless look it gives once applied.  If I were to go out for the night, I only apply in the evening and blot when necessary. I will never use any other powder - this is my one and only true love haha

This is my go to setting powder and compact.  It works magically with all foundations, not just Estee Lauder.  I've got one in my bathroom and one in my handbag, I don't go anywhere without it!
