Not very effective on mascara
I am a contact lens wearer and I use this for removing eye make-up with a cotton pad. I've found that this works well for removing eyeshadow but doesn't remove mascara well and leaves flakes. Note that I'm not referring to waterproof mascara either. It's not that gentle, as I can definitely feel something in my eye, though not enough to say it is 'irritating'. On the positive side, it isn't oily and doesn't leave my eyesight blurry.
It's not something that I will repurchase, it was average and on the expensive side.

With one wipe, it literally takes makeup off my face. (incl. eyeliner and mascara) . It has a gentle formula, its skin-soothing and non-oily. My face feels wonderfully fresh after I use it. An excellent makeup remover I would highly recommend!
