On my combination skin this primer is perfect, I LOVE IT. There is nothing worse than starting the day with perfect makeup and finding that in the early afternoon your face is shiny and yuck. This prevents that, my makeup stays fresh all day. It doesn't irritate, doesn't cause break outs and the pore minimizing feature is a massive bonus! Works great under a range of make up types, I use it with both Estee Lauder foundations and other brands.
Would you like skin like a shiny seal? Except without the whiskers and shine? This primer may work for you! As someone with oily-combo acne-prone skin, this product worked well as a primer. It mattifies as it says on the label on oily skin, is not moisturizing in the slightest, and did emphasis some dry patches at certain times. Does it work well with foundations that aren't from Estee Lauder? Absolutely. In particular, it works well with BB creams, and does still allow for a dewy finish. The drawback of the primer is that because it's still a silicon based primer, it does settle a little into fine lines. The scent isn't anything remarkable, and it did not leave me with too many breakouts (though it could have been because of the foundation). All in all, it's a perfectly good primer for the price, but I would personally try a sample before settling.
A great start to any canvas.  This primer does exactly what it's meant to.  It provides a mattifying base which keeps makeup looking fresh for longer.  I use this with my Estee Lauder foundation and it works just as well with other brands.  I recommend everybody try it.
