Estée Lauder Micro Essence Skin Activating Treatment Lotion

I was not expecting such a potent product!  It looks like water, but make no mistake, this essence will certainly "activate" your skin!  At first I thought I might have to stop using it as I experienced some redness and a tingly, sunburn-like feeling.  But it wasn't like an adverse reaction and I felt that it was actually doing my skin good so I persisted. I'm glad I did because after about a week the redness and tingly feeling subsided and my skin tone became more even just looked nicer. It's actually hard to say what this essence actually does, but it just makes my skin look better - perhaps stronger?  I've recently added Retinol back into my routine, which is something I've struggled with in the past due to sensitivity to it, but this time feels different.  I think this essence has made my skin stronger and better able to tolerate products.
