Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Shine Lipstick

Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Lipstick has smashed it out of the ball park. The  is packaged in a navy square case with gold trim and has a magnetic close (I love and expect a magnetic close on quality products). I have shade number 220 Powerful, which is a gorgeous blue toned pink. The colour pop is fabulous and the sheen is just divine, leaving you with irresistible kissy lips!   Pros: It has no weird taste or smell, is hydrating, the colour is perfect pink and it feels great on your lips.  Cons: The staying power isn’t wonderful but this shade leaves a stain on my lips and I have dry lips so I am happy to reapply. I would recommend this pout! :)

My love affair with Estee Lauder lipsticks began years ago and I was less than impressed when the formula and colours changed - so unimpressed that I refused to buy an Estee Lauder lipstick for ages. Very few people are more fussy about the way lipsticks feel than I am - I hate anything greasy but I need decent hydration as my lips can be quite dry. I hate anything to taste "weird" so I avoid anything with definite flavours on my lips or skin. I want the lipstick to last a decent length of time before I need to reapply and I don't want it transferring to anything I come close to. I know I'm fussy! Colour updates and the fact that it was impossible to buy the lipsticks I'd loved, combined with a great GWP meant I decided to buy the Pure Colour Sculpting Shine lipstick and to say I am amazed is an understatement. I have no idea why I should be surprised when I've loved all the EL lipsticks I've used but I am delighted with this newer version. It glides on beautifully and easily. looks classy in its lovely navy container and the lid clips back easily and so well fitting that no air is going to enter the container when it is closed. I'm amazed at how comfortable my lips feel. I have no idea what is really meant by the "time release" moisture hydration but all I need to know is that I have had absolutely no drying effect from this lipstick. The colour range is good too. Thanks Estee Lauder for restoring my faith in favourite lipsticks - I'll be buying other colours!

A moisturising creamy  formula that’s lasts, no need to reapply the colour, it stays untouched and unchanged even after food or drinks.  Due to the to the softening and nourishing power it contains my lips stay hydrated and never feeling dry.  The lipstick shade I own is the colour "Empowered" which is stunningly vivid when applied to my lips and makes an extremely strong statement.  I highly recommend these spectacular Estee Lauder Pure Colour Envy shine sculpting lipsticks for instantly creating confident and powerful enhanced fuller lips.

The Estée Lauder Pure Colour Envy lipstick was my first lip product purchase from the brand and, even after reading great reviews on the range, I wasn’t really know what to expect quality-wise. Luckily, it didn't disappoint. The packaging is really gorgeous - everything about it is very luxurious, from the engraving on the lid and the magnetic closure to the nice weight of the lipstick. The formula itself is also amazing – very moisturising and pigmented, without the heaviness of the “old school” lipsticks. Staying power is average, 2-3 hours without eating or drinking. Not too bad for a moisturising formula, but not that amazing comparing to all the long lasting products on the market. But the great thing is that it doesn't emphasise dryness or settle into the lip lines. It's not a cheap lippie but the quality is amazing and I will certainly get more shades at some point.

A lip product that wears comfortably on the lips and has a beautifully wearable finish. Love the naturally glossy shine which is never sticky or tacky.
