Estée Lauder The Smoother Universal Perfecting Primer

Great primer for those who have large pores. The formula smoothes out the skin and preps the skin ready for a flawless finish with either liquid or powder foundation. I did find that if I rubbed the product into my skin for too long, it tends to bead alot and then creates a big mess. So I wipe over the face to cover entire area then press with my fingers to leave in place on the face.  I find some primers are useless after a few hours of wear as it as if it mixes in with the foundation and it turns pointless. This primer is sits on the face and works on its own. No movement and fights all signs of pores.

I got a 5ml sample with my online purchase. I had a good few weeks of use out of this tiny sample. I have Este Lauder The Mattifier in a regular size and I like it. The Smoother is more like a regular silicone based primer that preps the skin, makes it extra smooth and blurs the look of the pores. Since it is heavy in silicones it might roll applied on some moisturisers or underneath certain foundations, but I was lucky and it worked well both with my skincare and foundations. I must say it works extremely well with the regular Double Wear foundation making my skin look flawless. I think most of skin types will like this primer. Also, I have not noticed and drying or clogging up the pores. This is a high quality primer and will last you ages. I enjoy it.

I use this primer under my moisturiser then apply foundation. It smoothes my skin and refines pores and fine lines. This creates a gorgeous canvas for foundation to glide onto smoothly. It moisturises and gives my skin a youthful glow. I love primer and this one is both luxurious and works hard for a flawless finish, a little goes a long way so it lasts well. Overall a great product
