Good All Rounder

The serum is in a lovely small bottle (made of recyclable materials) and the pump has a simple to use locking mechanism for when travelling. The pump spout doesn't seem to dry out what product is remaining so no horrible little crusties to deal with in the morning. I found the smell a little strong first thing in the morning but it does seem to settle down over the day, it's not an unpleasant smell just strong for me. The product itself definitely helped me with ensuring my skin receives adequate hydration and SPF protection throughout the day. My only criticism would be that I am relatively light skinned and did get some residual white streaks on my face unless the product was very thoroughly rubbed (which would possible be more prominent on people with a darker complexion than mine).

A great product that covers all bases

I loved the light texture of this product, which went onto my skin smoothly and sunk in. While it's only SPF15, to be perfectly honest I'm not as rigorous with my sunscreen application as I should be. So the three-in-one formula is a time saver, and gives me some extra SPF protection that I wouldn't otherwise get. I applied it after cleansing my face, and let it sink in thoroughly before putting on makeup. My skin was smooth and brighter after use. I think this is a fantastic product with some great ingredients that I was happy to introduce into my routine.

Great texture, fragrance is a little overpowering

I really enjoyed this product, the texture is pretty good for the price point and really good to give you that real all in one product in the mornings. It pumps out an appropriate amount of product and is doesn't leave a whitecast (medium-toned here). The drawbacks are that the fragrance is STRONG, especially it being pineapple which isn't exactly what you call elegant. Also the SPF protection is not that good, especially for Australia but I think that is just how it is converted from the Northern Hemispehere.

SPF 15 adds another layer of protection

This serum is so great in that not only does it brighten my skin and makes it appear less tired and dull, it also adds a layer of protection against the sun, which is perfect as the days get warmer. I’ve found that with serums I’ve used in the past, my face tends to get irritated and blotchy when exposed to direct sunlight for too long, but this one doesn’t seem to do that. It’s almost like I’ve put a serum on with a layer of sunscreen – such a smart idea by Garnier. It’s easily absorbed by my skin, and I’ve found that it works well when used after Garnier’s brightening gel cleanser. Together they’ve made a positive impact on my skin in the last two weeks that I’ve been using them and I’m excited to see what the long term effects will be!

Great everyday moisture

I got sent a bottle of this to review. Garner was the 1st skincare line I ever used. It was affordable for a high school student and had ranges easy enough for me to understand. I think since then I have written them off as a brand until now. I actually enjoyed using this moisturiser. I work long shifts indoors and usually wear a facial sunscreen but have now switched to this instead. It feels hydrating on the skin and leaves it looking dewy. A good base for under make-up and a bonus it is vegan with no nasties. I did take a point off for the scent as it was a bit to sunscreen smelling for me.

Effective and convenient!

I was pleasantly surprised by this Garnier 3 in 1 product! My skin looks and feels a lot healthier since introducing this product (and the Garnier Green Labs Pinea-C Brightening Gel Cleanser) into my life! It has helped with my original dullness and texture issues by brightening my skin and smoothing it out. The serum itself feels creamy, yet lightweight, and absorbs into the skin nicely without leaving any sticky residue. It also works a treat under makeup. I also have to say, I absolutely love the convenience of this “3 in 1”. As a busy mum of two, being able to do my skincare routine in a flash every morning has been a huge help. I’ve often skipped a step in the past due to being rushed off my feet, however now I’m knocking 3 birds with 1 stone and my skin is reaping the benefits - winning!

Refreshing serum cream

I am so happy with this product! I received it with the matching face cleanser and I have been using this both for couple of weeks now ! I love the fresh smell of this product! Every time I use this it just lifts the mood up and this is the big reason for me to incline more towards this product! It’s a serum cream with sunscreen in it ! Don’t know how 3 products together work but what better can one ask for ! All boxes tick in one application. It’s pancaking is another huge like ! I love love the products that have pump and this one surely has one ! It controls the amount of product used each use . It’s easily available in all shops and is very budget friendly. I would recommend everyone to try this product

Nice but needs more SPF

I really enjoyed the concept of this product and how lasting the glow of the product was on my skin. After using the serum I really noticed how bright and glowing my skin. I would like to see if the product has long term benefits on my skin. A big plus for this serum was the fact that it’s 3 products in 1 which saves so much time out of my day especially when I’m in a rush and have no time to follow a 5 step skincare regimen. The only downfall was that the product is only SPF 15 and I would prefer something with at least SPF 30. I would probably not to use this product when I’m getting more sun exposure.

Good all-in-one product

This product is easy to apply with smooth texture and light consistency. It is very moisturising, but a bit on the heavier side due to the sunscreen. The product has a light fruity smell that is pleasant, but then there is an overbearing smell of sunscreen that lingers on throughout the day which I was not a huge fan of. My skin felt a bit brighter after continuous day use. The sunscreen seems to be effective, but I have not tested the product in outdoor conditions due to our extended lockdown restrictions. I have oily/sensitive skin and have not broken out. Overall, I am happy with this product. I’m generally not a huge fan of all-in-one products since I prefer to have the option to layer different products for my skin’s needs. This product is ideal for someone who is looking for convenience and doesn’t want to purchase multiple products or have the patience to layer multiple products.

Value and time saver!

The Garnier Green Labs Pinea-C Brightening Serum Cream comes in a cute 72ml bottle with pump lid that dispenses a good amount of product. I find one pump is enough to cover my whole face effectively. My skin can be reactive and I didn't find any reactions, which was great. I liked that I could just do one simple pump and my face had the goodness of a moisturiser, serum and sunscreen. While the cream is lightweight I still felt that I was protected all day and didn't dry out. I liked using it under makeup and it works well. I didn't have any breakouts and my skin did look nice when using this product. The fragrance lost one star from me, I find it smells like sunscreen and quite strong. I do really like that it's a vegan formula and that there's a move more earth friendly packaging - good work Garnier! I recommend this product if you want a value product that works well and saves time on beauty routines.

Just ok

I got this product as part of the review crew to try together with the brightening gel cleanser. The product claims to be a 3 in 1 moisturiser, serum and SPF. Overall I was a little disappointed. I understand trying to combine the products for practical, time saving-cost effective purposes but I think by trying to combine what could've been 3 great separate products it ended up resulting in 1 "good" product and 2 "just ok" products. As a serum I liked it, it definitely delivers and I did notice my skin looking brighter after a bit over a week of use. As a moisturiser it claims to replenish moisture for 24hrs but I have normal skin and did not find it very hydrating, and it would definitely not hold up during winter. As a sunscreen I would normally go for something higher than SPF 15 so I would not reach for it for this purpose. Pros: the product absorbs quickly, smells nice and fresh (faint pineapple scent), and the bottle locks to avoid spillage (no cap). It looks good under makeup and it may be for you if you're looking for something to use on the go if you're pressed for time when getting ready.

Overpowering smell....

At first I was very excited about this product as a 3 in 1 and was curious about how it would cope fulfilling all 3 things in one go. I was quite underwhelmed as soon as I opened the bottle to what I was assuming to be a subtle sweet pineapple smell but instead was greeted with a cheap male cologne smell. I attempted to try and get past the smell but I couldn't and I didn't get the full use out of this product that I would have liked to. I found the texture to be easy to apply but it stayed oily on my skin which is expected with a sunscreen in saying that I find the SPF 15 doesn't justify it being as oily. maybe if it was SPF 30 then yes. The packaging was also weird, it was a new label stuck on the top of an old one which makes me feel uneasy with beauty products, it felt quite cheap. The upside was that the pump bottle worked effectively and the size is very compact but also what would be worth your money. I think that 3 in 1 would be very effective if the smell was more natural and didn't make you feel like you were putting a lot of chemicals on your face then I would rate it a lot more, but for me personally, this product was a miss.

Nothing special

I have been trying this product for the past few weeks and although I like it, it's not my favourite. Firstly, I did like to packaging as the pump is easy to use and the fact it is lockable is great. Also it's a generous size. I found the texture to be nice and creamy and sunk into my skin well. I liked the fragrance but did find it to be a big heavy and potentially irritating. It did make my skin feel a bit greasy and I found that I had a couple of breakouts from it. The fact that it includes SPF is great however the 15 is not strong enough for the Aussie sun. I will like this for travel due to the size and 3 in 1 but for my everyday it's a no.

Dewy, light sunscreen

I give this 4/5 stars. Pros: - Very light, translucent formula - Smells less of chemical than other sunscreens - A great layer if you're going out for a morning walk and don't want to put anything too heavy/hard to navigate on - Vitamin C a great extra addition, if you're already using Vitamin C for glow/brightening effects - A light dewy finish rather than a thick matte or shiny one like other sunscreens. Cons: - The Vitamin C/brightening effect is limited, if you don't already use Vitamin C - SPF 15 is not strong enough for Australian sun, in my opinion. I usually opt for an SPF 30 at the least. This is nice as something to add into your regime halfway through the day as a top up, but wish it came in a stronger protection. Overall, would definitely purchase again as a secondary sunscreen!

It's ok but the SPF content is too low

Coming into the warmer months in Aus I was keen to try this product to hydrate and brighten my skin! The packaging is great and aesthetically pleasing to me and product dispensed easily from the pump. Whilst I love the concept of the 3 in 1, I feel like this missed the mark. Was it easy to use? Absolutely. Did my skin look brighter from using this? My skin looked nice using this product but it wasn't anything too dramatic. Was this the best moisturiser I've ever used? Not really. The downfall for me is the SPF content. Living in Australia SPF 15+ is simply not enough for daily wear. I found the product to smell quite sunscreeny too and for such a low SPF content I am unlikely to purchase this or recommend it to anyone. Garnier should try again with just a serum/moisturiser combo and I would absolutely give it another go.

Good for busy mornings

I received the Garnier Green Labs Pinea-C Brightening Serum Cream SPF 15 to try, along with the matching facial wash. I applied the serum after washing my face in the mornings. I hasn’t got a strong smell but I could smell sunscreen, which I don’t mind. I have combination skin and found this product to be light weight and moisturising without leaving a greasy feeling on my skin. I didn’t notice much change in my complexion when using this though. The packaging is a simple pump design which was easy to use but did have a bit of the ‘plastic’ feel to it. This however could be overlooked as it is made from recycled materials so that’s a plus! Although the serum didn’t irritate my skin and was easy to use in the morning as a 3 in 1 product, I do prefer to apply a higher daily SPF to my face so probably won’t repurchase. If you are short on time in the mornings this serum would definitely work for you.

Nice texture but not enough SPF.

This is a nice cream/serum. It has a smooth texture that isn't too thick. Two pumps were enough and easy to apply to my face and neck. It would be a great multitasker if you have oily skin. Dry skin might want a bit more hydration. After two weeks of use I haven't noticed and significant, lasting, brightening but it did leave my skin with a nice glow after applying without looking oily. The packaging talks a lot about the SPF of this product and not much about its vitamin C content which is confusing. As a sunscreen it has a really lovely texture and feel. But it only has an SPF 15 rating which is not enough protection to be a very practical sunscreen except in the middle of winter or if you work somewhere where you rarely see the sun for the entire day. It does however layer well under a higher SPF cream and any added SPF is helpful.

Great time saver in the morning.

Garnier Brightening Serum Cream is a nice, light moisturizer suitable for everyday use. This three in one product is very convenient to use every morning especially when you are in a rush. It has a light fragrance that is not overpowering. I been only using it for two weeks and so far I being enjoying it. I wouldn't say it brighten my skin tone but it gives a little glow to my skin. This light weight cream is easily absorbed and does not leave any white residue. It is easy to wear under make up. I think the only downside is that it only has SPF 15 which is not high enough for Australian summer.

3 in 1 garnier pinea C

I recieved a bottle of this along with the matching cleanser as part of the Review Crew. I love the concept of the product; a serum, moisturiser and sunscreen in the one product. I found it to be a nice, lightweight moisturiser that was very rapidly absorbed into the skin with no residual film or greasiness and left the skin soft and smooth to the touch. I generally use a few products in the morning; cleanser, vitamin c ( or serum based treatment), facial oil mixed into my moisturiser and spf 50+ as the last product so this 3-in-1 was going to simplify things. My skin type is normal (bordering on dry/dehydrated in summer) and my skin generally seems to prefer richer, more hydrating creams/serums. This one is very lightweight in terms of moisturisation, my skin still craved more in terms of moisture, it felt a little lacklustre. I gave it a few tries on it's own to see if my skin would get used to it but it felt like it needed more nourishment so I added in my facial oil to boost nourishment. The spf 15 is a good concept but as I am quite pale and tend to regularily use retinol and acid based treatments I need *at least* spf 30+ everyday or my skin tends to burn and become sensitive (very quickly, within 10 minutes, even on non sunny days!) so whilst I love the 3-in-1 concept unfortunately for me I still found myself reaching for more nourishment and higher spf protection. Overall not a bad product, just not rich enough for me personally and does not provide enough spf protection to replace my regular routine. However would be suited to those who only need lightweight moisturisation.

lightweight effective serum

great effective product didnt cause irritation. after having my son i had a lot of sensitivity but with this product it didnt cause any of that and was effective serum for my face and neck without dehydrating my skin. smells nice and not overly fragrant to cause any irritation. i shared this product with my mother who is in her mid 50's and she loved the product and felt instantly refreshed whilst smelling nice. i would recommend this product to anyone and to at least try with sensitive skin also
