GROW Thicker Fuller Thickening Treatment

Wow. This is something that I didn't even know I needed. I have a lot of hair, so while I like the idea of having even more hair, I have not been actively looking for thickening and volumising products. I mean, I have dry shampoo for giving me that one extra day between washes, but I didn't know I needed anything else. GROW Thicker Fuller Thickening Treatment goes on freshly-washed wet hair as a non-sticky and non-greasy leave-in treatment. It feels just like water. The extended nozzle gives a good precision to target the roots. It feels very soothing on the scalp. It has an expensive botanical smell (think Aveda). It was love at the first few sprays. I let my hair dry naturally and tied up my hair as usual. I jumped into a zoom conference (part of my daily routine now!!), looked and the screen and went, hello, who's this person with voluminous hair and a small face. I had more natural-looking volume on top of my head even with hair all pulled back without proper styling. The best thing is, unlike other texturisers, it doesn't makes my hair feel sticky (there's a bit more "friction" but I can still run my fingers through my hair), doesn't make my scalp itchy, and I don't feel I need to wash my hair any more often. I have already recommended this treatment to many. I look forward to discovering the other products in this range.

I am not usually the targeted consumer for this product as someone with thick hair and quite a lot of it so I wasn't going to expect much. But boy was I wrong! I do suffer from hair loss particularly in the shower however I don't have any obvious thinning of hair. The bottle has an extended nozzle to really target the spray at the scalp. The treatment is very lightweight and of water-thin consistency. It has a lovely subtle botanical scent. After using my usual shampoo and conditioner, I applied my usual leave-in treatment, heat defense spray on my mid-lengths and sprayed the thickening treatment aimed at the scalp on my crown whilst hair was still damp. After blow-drying my hair almost 80% dry, and then I left it to air dry. Once dry, my roots at the crown were lifted with volume and my hair felt lighter. I was really happy with the results as not having a hair cut since lockdown in Sydney, my hair was getting a bit flat and heavy (especially as I have a lot of it). It doesn't leave my hair any greasier than usual and follow my same hair wash routine as well. Highly recommended.

GROW Thicker Fuller Thickening Treatment spray is formulated to fortify fine or thinning hair by improving hair density, texture and volume while promoting hair growth and reducing hair loss. It comes in a 200ml bottle that fits nicely in your hand, making it easy to depress the spray nozzle as you use your other hand to expose your roots. It has a nice floral scent and contains ylang ylang, geranium, rose & patchouli oils. It is cruelty free and made in Australia with 90% natural ingredient. It is free from sulfates, parabens and silicone. For my first application, I washed and towel dried my hair. I used the nozzle to slide along my scalp as I sprayed the solution onto my roots. I gave my hair a quick massage to ensure it was evenly spread and dried my hair with a hairdryer. It left my hair looking dull and feeling unwashed, very much like i had just used a dry shampoo or brushed out hairspray. I thought that maybe I had applied too much, so on my second application, I parted my hair section by section while spraying along the part from a small distance to avoid getting it on the rest of my hair shaft. I then again blow dried my hair but unfortunately it left my hair feeling much the same. I even tried on dry hair the next day but that just made my hair sit flat on my head and was in desperate need of a wash. I tried again to apply even less spray but unfortunately the spray comes out in a thick targeted mist so it was impossible to get an even coverage along a single part without ending up with the same results. I was a little disappointed that it didn't work for me, as I have been using the GROW shampoo, conditioner & hair masks for a while now & I have experience significant results in reduced hair loss & regrowth.
