A good multipurpose oil - I like that it can be used to manage flyaways and also as a heat protectant when using heat stylers. It feels like a more luxurious version compared to other spray heat protectants, which is what I’d used in the past. A little goes a long way, which is a big benefit given the main downside is that the product is quite pricey. A general observation is that the oil was quite thick, so this depends on your preference but would probably be best for really dry hair in particular.

I love this product!!! I’ve been needing a hair oil that tames my frizz and also provides some protection for my hair in the Aussie sun. This one does just that. The smell is beautiful and not overpowering which I also appreciate. It makes my hair feel luxurious and I’ve gotten compliments on how healthy my hair looks!! I also think the packaging of the bottle is stunning and it feels expensive. I think a little goes a long way as well, making the product last longer. Having the refillable option is great and I’ll definitely be repurchasing!

I have loved trialling this hair oil by Kerastase. My hair is frizzy and recently my ends are starting to dry out. The summer weather hasn’t been helping the frizz settle so this oil came at the right time. A small amount goes a long way! I learnt that the first application. I love how this oil not only helps treat my hair, but it also doubles as a heat protectant, which is amazing!! I love that it doubles as I only need to take one product with me when I travel, and also for home use to cut out an extra step. The scent of this oil is beautiful. Over the trial period I have seen a difference this makes in helping eliminate frizz. After washing my hair I have been applying the oil and pulling my hair back to help straighten and reduce the frizz from the humidity. Have loved trialling this oil and always a bonus when it’s refillable packaging.

I have fine hair that gets oily very quickly so have never been brave enough to try a hair oil. I have been using Kérastase Elixir Ultime Hair Oil for a few weeks now and love it. Not only does it smell amazing but it leaves my hair very soft and smooth. I only use it in the ends if my hair, where it’s dryer and more fragile from highlights. I found it particularly good when using hot styling tools. After curling my hair, I use a small amount (a little goes a long way) to break up my curls and it keeps the frizz at bay. I also use it at night a hair mask the night before hair wash days. I would recommend Kérastase Elixir Ultime Hair Oil.

I tried the Kerastase Elixir Ultime Hair Oil on towel dried hair and the first thing that I noticed was the divine scent. The oil felt light on my hair and was very easy to apply. The thing I loved most was how my hair felt and looked after application. It was visibly shinier and healthier. My hair didn't feel dry as it normally would in summer. With other oils I've tried, they've left my hair feeling heavier and oily but not the Kerastase Elixir Ultime Hair Oil. As it doubles as a heat protectant also, I've found this product to be a must have. It's such a quality product and a little goes a long way. I highly recommend for anyone who has dull or dry hair.

The Kerastase elixir Ultime hair oil ticks all the boxes for providing glowing and nourish looking hair. The formula was easy to apply and smoothed my hair out instantly. Great to pop on freshly blow-dried hair to reduce dullness and dry looking hair. I love the design of the bottle and the innovative way to refill the oil section while keeping the glass bottle to reuse over and over. The lockable pump design is great and saves accidental spillage. Overall a great product would definitely recommend to anyone who struggles with frizzy, dry or dull hair.

Great product but useful for the right person. the packaging is lovely and feels lux with a heavy weight with an easy to use pump. I have thick combo hair that’s been dyed. I mostly have oily roots with dryer dull ends but I also suffer from dandruff. The rest of my hair is healthy and with a slight wave, but very very thick. First time I used this I did two pumps and it was a smidge too much as my hair did look slightly oily. I now use one pump. I did notice my hair was slightly softer and shinier and I think with combo hair it’s best used damp after washing. I would purchase again on sale if my hair suddenly became super dry as I feel like that would be where the product shined and you would get your moneys worth. It was good but I feel like I could find a more affordable product that would do the same thing. The smell of the product is really nice and the packaging is what you’d expect at that price point.

I was so thrilled to try this beautiful hair oil! It's a gorgeous bottle, and I have heard wonderful things about the brand for years. The packaging is exciting to open--It's incredibly elegant, and the golden hue feels luxurious and inviting. I was so enchanted by the scent! I'm very sensitive to fragrance, and usually can't tolerate much other than essential oils without a headache. This gave me no issues whatsoever! The smell is very subtle--It will not overpower anyone around you when you walk into a room, but makes the application process comforting and delightful. It's sophisticated, sensual, warm, and slightly sweet without being in any way cloying or juvenile--It almost reminds me of cherry blossoms or figs, amber or vanilla--Something warm, sweet, and just barely floral, like when you smell the center of a magnolia. It's a very unique blend of fragrance notes all its own. This was a lovely attribute and turned using it into an experience. When it comes to the application and finish, I find that some hair oils can make your hair look oily, so I was nervous about that, but I applied it carefully and in layers, starting with the underside of my hair, and adding more as I went. I didn't get any greasy look whatsoever! I was so happy about that! I will say that I was expecting to be able to use the product to separate some of my ends into piece-y bits, or to fluff up/volumize at the root, but it doesn't seem to be made for that. I also don't feel this is the most hydrating oil--I thought it might moisturize my drier ends, but they weren't as hydrated as I expected from the product. Where this shines is as a rich, yet light, finishing oil that provides softness and a beautiful, healthy shine that feels glorious to touch! I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to sample Elixir Ultime Hair Oil!

I was so excited to try this product and I was not disappointed! The Kerastase Elixir oil worked really well on my curly, thick hair. I trialled this product on my freshly washed damp hair and noticed the oil made my hair extra soft, hydrated and shiny. This really helped to keep my difficult hair in good shape throughout the week. It additionally smells really yummy and I absolutely love that it doesn't leave oily residue on my hands after applying. The serum itself is on the thinner/runnier side and you only need a couple pumps to see the effects. The packaging looks very luxurious and I appreciate the refillable, eco-friendly package being used! The only reason why I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the price tag. It works like a charm but I'm not sure I could purchase it again with the high price tag.

I loved using this product, I have long hair that can get a bit wild after washed but found this hair oil helped tame some of the frizz and gave it a beautiful shine when blow dried. The smell is fresh and clean too and not overly fragranced. I love the refillable bottle and the pump option, I’ve used other oils that make it tricky to get the correct amount and found 1 pump was plenty for my hair and a little goes a long way. Although a bit more on the pricey side- the fact that I’d only use a little amount makes it a worth while product. Always been a fan of Kérastase products for their quality and results, will continue to use this and recommend!

The Kérastase Elixir Ultime Hair Oil has been exactly what my frizzy hair needs - I love it! This hair oil looks beautiful, smells beautiful, and works beautifully in nourishing my strands and controlling all the frizz. Humidity and heat styling are my main frizz-culprits, however just a couple pumps of this oil through my hair smoothes it all down and leaves my hair looking healthy & shiny! A little also goes a long way so it’s great to know this luxurious bottle will last me a while, and once it's done, it’s refillable! Extra points for sustainability. I’m so impressed with how lightweight the oil is too - it doesn’t weigh my hair down like other hair oils & treatments I’ve tried in the past. Overall, I’m super happy the Kérastase Elixir Ultime Hair Oil is now permanently part of my hair arsenal since discovering it via Review Crew! It really is worth every penny. Highly recommend!

Thank you so much for the opportunity to trial this beautiful product! Kerastase Elixir Ultime hair oil left my hair feeling so soft and shiny and I only needed to use a small amount. I firstly tried the oil in my hair when it was dry and then I also applied this prior to shampooing and I had beautiful results both ways. I love not having frizzy hair for a change! I will share this with my two daughters also as I couldn’t afford to buy such a luxurious product. I will highly recommend Kerastase Elixir Ultime Hair Oil to all of my friends and family.

The brand advised to use 1-2 drops, however, the pump expels significantly more product, which makes it very difficult to control the application meaning my hair looked oily / wet. I didn’t like the scent, smelt artificial and not luxurious, thankfully, it didn’t linger and compete with my perfume. I did like that the oil can be used for multiple purposes and the packaging looks and feels premium. It didn’t have an immediate effect on my hair but after a couple of weeks I started to notice a difference in my hair’s quality and this was commented on by my mother too.

I was gifted this product to try in exchange for my opinion. The fragrance of this hair oil is really nice. I found when I was using the hair oil, I would not apply perfume as I found the fragrances combined would be too much for me and it probably smelt a bit confusing for others. I only used a small amount for the ends of my hair, I found it is effective in giving the ends of my hair the nourishment they need. The ends of my hair is quite brittle and dry and have started splitting due to me curling my hair. It is a good hair oil.
