La Roche-Posay Lipikar Baume AP+M Body Balm

I really enjoyed this product in regard to the thick yet non-greasy consistency. I have pretty dry skin overall and have been applying this to my arms and legs ever since receiving the product, the results are amazing in smoothing the surface. It's quick-absorbing and the skin still feels quite soft and moist up in the following morning. There is not much fragrance in the product, which I believe makes it a more gentle and friendly option for sensitive skin. Though I love the pump design, sometimes I find it hard to push down quickly and get some product out of a rush, but that doesn't affect my opinion towards this as a great product. I also asked my mum to try out the product - she has very dry heels (sometimes a bit flakey), she finds that this product did help to soothe the flakes and add more hydration into the skin. I would recommend this product to anyone who's looking for a fragrance-free body balm during this season (autumn/winter), it's a quick treat for the body after a shower!

I’ve dry skin and occasional eczema outbreaks. With all the extra hand washing my hands were extremely dry and every product I’ve used would sting me. This was until I tried this product! The immediate soothing, deep hydration and calming effect it had on my skin were a blessing for my dry, itchy hands. I’ve also popped it once on my face as an “overnight mask” and it hydrated my face very well! It doesn’t have a scent which is a great feature for product designed for dry skin. The packaging is sturdy, the dispenser is smooth and it’s a good size. I’ll definitely buy one more when I run out of this one. I don’t think I’ve ever used a better balm. I rarely give products 5 stars but I’ve nothing negative to say here. Absolute winter hero!

This body balm is amazing for dry sensitive skin! The thick consistency instantly soothes my skin without leaving a sticky or greasy residue like other body balms. There's a mild "medicinal scent" which fades, however this balm didn't irritate my eczema. Highly recommend this body balm, particularly for those with dry, sensitive skin!

This was a lovely cream! I am in my thirties with two kids and we all have dry sore skin. This was a great all rounded cream, not like a lotion consistency and not as thick as their cicaplast repair balm. It does sting on open sores or scratches and thats my only complaint. Would definitely purchase when i run out.

Fantastic for dry skin, reduced the scaly appearance on my legs, also very soothing on the skin. This product also absorbed really well and doesn’t leave a residue on my skin unlike some other balms I’ve tried

I have dry sensitive skin and this lotion is super hydrating and nourishing without being sticky or greasy. It is non fragranced and did not irritate my sensitive skin. Also used it on my 12 year old sons dry eczema prone skin and it hydrated his skin without stinging his eczema. Great product!

La Roche-Posay is one of the few brands dermatologist recommended for sensitive and eczema prone skin so I was very exited to try it. Coming in to winter my skin was in dire need of a little TLC and has been a little dehydrated and dry. First impressions were a thick lotion with no scent - my personal favourites as I hate it when my lotion runs away from me and when a lotion clashed with my perfume. A little goes quite a long way and was easy to run in so I was pleasantly surprised. Hopefully the bottle would last a little while. It’s a little slick when on the skin and takes a little time to absorb completely. Leaves a slight sheen on the skin also. But I would say this is less slick and less sheen than many other moisturisers I have tried. Skin feel so nice on application, almost like an immediate hydration hit! The packaging says for use from babies to adults but I only tried the product on myself. Apparently it is for use for face and body, however I think it would be too heavy for daily and normal face use, maybe as a face moisture mask but I think that would be all I would use it for with a thorough cleanse off afterwards. All in all a great product for dry, itchy and sensitive skin! I will buy another when this bottle runs out.

I’ve been using this product right after showering particularly on my legs where I suffer really bad dry and itchy patches. This cream has almost completely made those itchy patches disappear and even reduced the appearance of the marks. The cream itself is very light and glides on very easily without that sticky feeling. I definitely recommend this to anyone suffering from skin irritation and dryness. Very hydrating and easy to use packaging.

The La Roche-Posay Lipikar Baume AP+M Body Balm is a rich and creamy body moisturiser that is absolutely perfect for use during the colder months. The product itself comes in a large white bottle with convenient pump applicator with the typical blue and white branding that is synonymous with La Roche-Posay. The cream is thick and rich in texture but is easy to smooth into the skin. My skin seemed to absorb the cream easily and quickly which allowed me to get dressed sooner without having to wait for the product to dry/absorb in. The formula is also fragrance-free making it perfect for those with more sensitive skin. Overall, a fantastic product and I will be purchasing again!

The La Roche-Posay triple action balm is really a delight to use. It is soothing on my itchy, sensitive, dry skin and didn’t exacerbate the skin irritation and helped to alleviate the discomfort. A little goes a long way with this cream, as it is so rich. There is a mild scent which reminds me of latex gloves but nothing too offensive. I like the packaging and pump system, it sits nicely atop my bathroom counter and doesn’t take up much space due to the sleek cylinder design. I have found this balm to be more effective than my previous hand and body sensitive skin moisturiser and would repurchase this product in the future.

One of the best body and face moisturisers l have come across. It’s thick but extremely hydrating, so I would only use it every second day. My skin has been going through it lately with acne treatments has been very dry, red, itchy and irritated. This definitely helped a lot with calming it down! The price is reasonable as the bottle is very large and will last a while. Highly recommended for very dry rough skin.

La Roch-Posay is a great company for people with sensitive skin, as their products are developed professionally by dermatologists. And this moisturiser doesn't disappoint. The great thing is that it's actually a balm and not a full on moisturiser, so you don't have to wait 10 minutes until you can put your clothes on. It's very nourishing yet light, goes on smoothly and I could see resultes within couple of days. I have very sensitive, dry skin and the balm didn't irritate my skin at all and kept it lush. The only downside is the smell, which is a bit iffy, but I guess it's just the medical aspect of it. Would highly recommend the body balm for anyone with sensitive or dry skin.

At first use this product felt refreshing to the skin, it literally felt like it was cooling me down. However that seemed to be the only positive as everything went downhill from there. This product claims to be suitable for sensitive skin on the face and body so I applied to my face as I'm prone to dry skin as well as areas like my elbows, knees and ankles. On my face, the product made me look extremely oily which isn't a good look. After using for a couple of days my face began to react and started getting red and I had skin peeling all over my T-zone. It completely dried out my skin and made it worse than what it was before. On the other areas I used it, I didn't see any drastic improvements or changes. It did make those dry areas smoother but it did pretty much the same job a cheap moisturizer from the supermarket would do. Overall, it's not a product I would recommend as it does irritate sensitive skin on the face and only has a mediocre effect on dry areas on the body.

Trial Team review I received this at the perfect time as I had a rash on my wrist and arms at the time. I had no idea why I had the rash. My skin was itchy, red, felt hot and it was creeping up my arm. After using this for 7 days, the rash was nearly gone. While the balm feels thick when you rub it in, it sinks quickly into the skin and you're left with soft and hydrated skin. It helped to reduce the itchiness and hotness that my skin was experiencing. The pump applicator is great and easy to use. I can't recommend this moisturiser enough, especially if you're dealing with itchy skin.

I was able to trial the La Roche-Posay Lipikar Baume AP+M Body Balm. It is a thick consistency that absorbs into the skin quickly and effortlessly. The bottle is a great size and I love that it has a pump for easy application. My only issue with this body balm is the smell - I found that it smells quite similar to bug spray so I'm unable to use it on my chest as that is all I can smell. I would definitely recommend this body balm for those with dry skin.

I suffer from dry skin and it get worst during the colder month. So far after using this La Roche-Posay Lipikar Baume AP+M Body Balm it's the best body balm I've ever used and I love the it is a French Brand and it is Made in France which keep me confident about the brand and quality. I've also always hear rave review about french brand especially La Roche Posay and would say the product and brand really live up to my expectation. I love the bottle design simple and nice looking with a pump dispenser which makes it easy to use. The 400ml it's just in a nice size to put on bathroom counter top without to bulky or too small for long usage. The balm it's in quite a thick and creamy consistency but once applied on the skin the balm just easily spread on the skin without leaving any oily or uneasy feeling. The product it's very moisturizing and keep my skin feeling so good the whole day without itchiness and act like a second skin moisturizer protector throughout the whole day. This product is also fragrance free which is good for sensitive skin user. I've also use it on my feet which gets dry itchy easily but this balm totally make feet feel so good. No more uncomfortable itchiness whenever I wear shoes. My husband uses this too on dry random skin patches and this balm work perfectly and heal it. I think this will be a great product for individual or something which suits the whole family too. Really happy to be able to trial this product and loving it as it has become my favorite body balm!

I've had sensitive skin my whole life and have also had eczema breakouts since I was 4 and this moisturizer is amazing for those skin types! There is no fragrance which I really like because that can sometimes set off sensitive skin. The cream is easy to apply and soaks into the skin really well. Takes about 2 to 5 mins to dry. This product really does stay in the skin, when showering the next day I could feel it on my skin. I found that I could apply it every second day because it kept my skin moisturized enough for 48 hours. If you are prone to acne breakouts I wouldn't recommend putting it on those areas because I found I had a few more break outs after but the product didn't cause any breakouts in areas that there were none. This is a product I'll definitely keep using.

This product is fantastic! I have dry skin ever since having chemotherapy 5 years ago, it’s often flaky particularly when I spend lots of time indoors and as the weather cools. Since I have started using this I have not noticed any flaky skin and small patches of psoriasis on my wrists improved dramatically! It is actually more effective at soothing my psoriasis than topical steroid creams. What I love the most about this product is how quickly and easily it is absorbed into the skin. I love that I don’t have to wait after applying to get dressed! There’s no greasy residue but it still acts as a barrier cream which is probably why it’s so effective for my psoriasis on my hands. The one thing I did not love was the packaging. The cream is very thick and I feel that a lot of wastage will occur because of the pump pack. I think a tub would be a much better option for this texture. I do actually love it SO much I couldn’t take points away for this. It’s improved my psoriasis in two days where steroid creams have been lacking for years!!!
