Great day cream

Very heavy cream that felt draggy while being applied. Tried leaving it to soak in overnight but this left a waxy residue in the morning. Used it a couple of times in the morning after showering - it went on much better on damp skin and seemed to absorb better

L’Oréal Age Perfect Golden Age

Nice to apply to the skin but did not really feel that it lived up to its claims - Skin felt moisturised in the morning but i dont feel like it was radiant or glowing. Thought the fragrance was just a touch over powering. Would I buy this product? Most probably not Now the product itself: I found it a white, thick product, and had to smear it on my face - it did not go on easily. It's not greasy, so no residue on the pillowcase in the morning. A very light fragrance, which I liked and which my dog did not take a liking to, so it stayed on all night! Did it do what it said it would do "help stimulate skin cell renewal overnight, revitalising the skin for a more radiant and nourished complexion by morning"? Mmmm, Not sure. Yes, my skin did appear more moisturised in the morning, and it got better each day, taking about 2 weeks to kick in. But was my skin more radiant? Nope, I would have to say no. No glowing compliments about my skin, even allowing for COVID19 social distancing rules. Would I buy this product? Most probably not.

Beautiful texture

I love the texture of this product, it has a lovely rich consistency which blends into the skin beautifully. The fragrance is very refreshing also. It certainly feels as though it’s deeply hydrating my skin and left it feeling very dewy. Whilst I haven’t noticed any improvement in fine lines as yet, I feel that given more time it may yield more promising results. A lovely product.

Yes, I would purchase this overnight cream!

I have now used this overnight cream for a period of 3 weeks. The cream itself is light on your skin, doesn’t feel too boggy or overdone, also, a little bit goes a long way. I am unsure if my wrinkles are better, but do believe my complexion is more even and skin tone improved. It does not leave a greasy residue like many overnight creams do, but my skin feels smoother and not dry at all. Would I purchase this product myself for use? Definitely!

Salli

L'Oreal Paris Golden Age Perfect Night Cream, is presented in attractive packaging. Removing the shiny golden lid reveals a subtly fragranced and coloured cream. I thought it was going to be too thick for me but was surprised at how easily it was absorbed into my normal but 50+ skin. I used my other usual products with it. My skin feels soft and well moisturised and crows feet extending towards my temples do look a little less marked. i would like to say the horizontal lines across my forehead also look softer, but since i have had those for many years, (too much frowning in my younger days) that is probably wishful thinking. i have enjoyed using this cream and would recommend its use to L'Oreal lovers. Thank you Beauty Crew:)

L'Oreal golden age redensifying night cream

This cream had a pleasant fragrance and was thick and easy to apply.I thought it would feel heavy on the skin but it was easily absorbed and made my skin feel soft to touch. I however did not notice any visible changes to my skin. I would recommend if you are just after a cream that leaves a nice soft feeling to the skin but with no anti-aging miracles

Hydrating Night Cream

Even though the L'Oréal Paris Golden Age Re-Densifying Night Cream is quite a thick cream I found it to be very smooth and easy to apply. It absorbs nicely into my skin and leaves my skin feeling well hydrated as well as feeling and looking softer. This is a night cream I would happily continue to use and it is a great price too.

Visible replumbing, but mind the fragrance

Clear a space on your vanity! 'Cause everything about this product screams luxury experience, except for the fragrance, (I'll get to that later). Packaging: in a weighty, duotone gold glass jar, this night cream will be out on display. Product: A dense creme, that glides over the skin effortlessly, leaving skin feeling nourished, protected, and silky to the touch, without being greasy. My skin very rarely feels revived and plumped with hydration, but did so within minutes of application, and remained that way until morning. FYI: It sits well under a liquid foundation, for those suffering from dry patchy skin. Also: My face and neck were not the only areas to benefit from this night creme. It has done a remarkable job of renourishing the skin on my palms, that were split and peeling, owing to an autoimmune condition. The one negative: The fragrance is rather strong, and if you are too heavy handed, your sinuses may suffer. Those who can not tolerat flowers such as jasmin, may want to give it a miss.

Pure Gold

Firstly, thank you Beauty Crew and Loreal for sending me the Loreal Age Perfect Golden Age Night Cream to trial. I have been using the cream for several weeks now and here are my thoughts: PACKAGING: The Golden Age Night Cream comes packaged in a sturdy glass jar with rounded corners. The finish is a matte gold which does not show fingerprints and is easy to hold and use. The lid is a shinier gold plastic one that twists on and off with a good seal making it suitable for travel. The look and feel of the jar is attractive and even a little luxe. PRODUCT: The jar holds 50ml of cream but since a little goes a long way - I've still got quite a lot of product left even after several weeks of use. The cream itself is quite a thick, white moisturiser. It absorbs well without feeling greasy and instantly softens and smoothes. The smell is somewhat citrus to me but also floral. The perfume is quite heavy which will not suit everyone but I quite like it. I have not found that the cream causes any sensitivities and is overall gentle on my skin. PERFORMANCE: Having put this cream through its paces over a couple of months now, I have been quite impressed with it. I love how rich it is and how it really does a great job of hydrating my very dry skin. I t feels lovely going on and my skin still feels supple the next morning. I also think my skin looks smoother, with fine lines less noticeable and my skin is overall healthier in appearance. This is a great night cream for mature skin - it does everything you want it to do and more! Fabulous!

Re-densifying? What does this mean?

I received this product to review, thanks BEAUTY crew! I just sneak into the age category (60 years old) and am always on the lookout for a night cream that does what it says. Actually I'm always on the lookout for any product that does what it says! Firstly, the packaging. Only a clear outer plastic bag to secure the cardbox inside. So far, so good, both can be recycled. Now the product itself: I found it a white, thick product, and had to smear it on my face - it did not go on easily. Gentle Moisturising product

A very light weight cream but with good moisture surge that leaves your skin feeling nourished even after waking up. I really appreciated that I had no negative reaction to the cream.

Smoothing face cream

I really liked this face cream. My face feels smooth and soft. I imagine I will need to use it for a little longer to see if it makes a difference to fine lines. Overall this is a lovely face cream to use.

Great product

I applied this cream for a total of three weeks. I applied the cream to the back of my hand in the first instance before applying it to my face. I found it to be be an extremely smooth application , not too over perfumed. I was sure my skin was going to be greasy in the morning but this was not the case my skin felt so supple in the morning. I will continue to use this cream and depending on how available it is I would purchase this product again

Mature skin must try this.

My skin is glowing and feels beautifully moisturised especially with the dry weather coming into winter. Would thoroughly recommend this night cream and especially after three people have said I’m looking radiant.

A pleasant surprise

Much like its partner eye cream, I found the L’Oreal Paris Golden Age Re-Densifying Night Cream quite thick and waxy in texture but a little less moisturising than my (admittedly) very dry skin needs. I felt it dragged on my skin as I applied it and wasn’t convinced it was rich enough. After trying it for a few weeks I actually gave it a go one morning after a nice hot shower and, while I initially regretted that decision (as my eyebrows stood upright), the cream soaked into my skin beautifully and by the time I was ready to apply my make up my skin felt amazing. Prior to that experiment I was ready to give this cream around three stars but I’m bumping that up to four now because I’ve fallen for its charms as a day cream and at this price point am happy to slather it on! If your skin is combination or slightly dry you will likely love Golden Age Re-Densifying Night Cream as part of your evening routine but if your skin is very dry, like mine, try it in the morning for a pleasant surprise.

Best yet.

After a few weeks of trialing this night cream I am impressed. A thicker cream than I am used to, it is very absorbent. The fine lines around my eyes and mouth have decreased slightly and I am sure will get better with continuing usage. Massaging it into the back of my hands I could see an immediate change. To me, this is well worth the money, especially since I feel more confident in showing my hands A LOT LESS wrinkled. This is an excellent product.

Awesome Night Cream

I've been using the L'Oreal Paris Golden Age Re-Densifying Night Cream for a few weeks now. The product comes in a really pretty metallic coloured little pot. It has the most gorgeous subtle floral scent which wasn't overpowering at all. The cream is surprisingly quite thick but it was readily absorbed into my skin, there was no oily residue and absolutely zero transfer onto my pillowcase. The cream left my skin feeling soft, hydrated, eradicated a couple of dry areas, especially around my nose and found the fines lines weren't as visible. I also noticed that when waking up in the mornings, my skin still felt soft and hydrated which was fantastic. As I am currently going through a bathroom remodel and with all the dust etc, my skin really needed a product to dramatically hydrate and protect it and found the L'Oreal Paris Golden Age Re-Densifying Night Cream did what was promised. Not only will I keep using it nightly, it is a product that I will be purchasing in the future.

Unexpected Surprise

Thank you BeautyCrew for giving me the chance to trial and review L'Oréal Paris Golden Age Re-Densifying Night Cream. I was looking forward to trying it as I am also using the L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Golden Age Rosy Radiant Care Eye Cream right now, so they are made for each other. The cream is packaged in a pretty rose gold shiny cardboard box, which houses the heavy glass jar that encases the night cream. All topped off with a pretty gold twist lid. The packaging is luxurious and nice to show off on the bathroom counter or bedroom drawers. I do wish, that when brands decide to house their products in jars, they provide a spatula that can be used to retrieve the product from the jar. I hate the idea of putting my fingers in the jar to retrieve some cream, all the while I am contaminating the entire jar of product. It’s unhygienic. Now onto the night cream itself…. I was surprised when I initially touched the cream, it is a very solid, balm-like texture. I was also surprised by the very pretty floral scent, which went with the cream. I must admit that I haven’t been a fan of particular creams of L'Oréal Paris’s in the past but this one is lovely. I found myself digging into the jar repeatedly, in an effort to get enough product to apply all over my face and neck, it’s not an easily spreadable cream, hence, I found that I used quite a bit more product than I’m used to. I used this every night after cleansing, toning, eye cream, facial serum. Because the cream doesn’t go far during application, I decided that I would concentrate on a certain area and massage the night cream in gently, with every dip into the jar, eventually ending with my face and neck covered. I am 50, so have maturing and very dry skin. I found the cream absorbed quickly upon application, leaving my skin feeling sufficiently hydrated and moisturised. But unfortunately, about 15-20 minutes later, my skin would be feeling dry, I’d have to apply my rose hip oil over top to add extra hydration. My Observations: Honestly, I was not expecting a lot of change, as I’ve only been using the product once a day for a month. But I’ve been studying my face in the mirror over the month, like I always do when I am trialing any skincare product and there are positive changes in my skin. My facial skin all-over, looks and feels a little firmer. My skin looks healthy. My sunspots/age spots/melasma have not faded in any way. The skin around my eyes and temples has definitely toned up and the couple of deeper lines I had there, have plumped out considerably, I can notice this greatly when I smile…..it’s probably a mix of both the eye cream and night cream from the same product range. I also had one deeper wrinkle on my left-hand side of my forehead that ran vertically. This wrinkle has also plumped out considerably, and I only used the night cream on this area. My marionette lines have no changes…. Sadly. All in all, I am happy with the night cream so far and if the subtle changes keep happening over the next few months, as I use the remainder of the jar, I’ll be extremely happy!
