Nude by Nature Perfecting Concealer

I absolutely love the Nude by Nature Perfecting Concealer. I find it blends beautifully with both powder and liquid foundations and can be used thickly to cover any dark spots, or lightly where needed. It stays on or day (even while playing sport) and doesn’t cake or crack. It doesn’t irritate my skin and is easily removed at the end of the day with some micellar water and a reusable make up wipe. I tend to put a bit on my finger and apply it that way rather than using the applicator tip, and I find it great under the eyes if you blend it with your finger. It's comes in eight shades, so finding a match shouldn't be too hard. I think since purchasing mine, they've reduced the packaging size so if recommend checking that out to ensure its still good value for money.

The concealer is packaged in a white tube with signature rose gold lid. The applicator tip is slanted with a small hole for dispensing the concealer. Per the instructions, I apply this to areas before foundation. This includes the under eye area, blemish scars and areas prone to redness around the nose. Normally I would apply concealer after foundation. I found the concealer quite thick in texture. As a result, I found it more difficult to blend in and found that it didn’t do much to conceal redness or blemishes compared to other concealers. I do like that the concealer has skincare benefits of Kakadu Plum, jojoba oil, vitamin E and Shea butter. These ingredients are very suitable for my dry skin and for Vitamin C brightening effects.

This Nude by Nature Perfecting Concealer is packaged in a 5.9ml plastic tube with a slanted nozzle top which houses a small hole through which the product is dispensed. This is a liquid concealer so only the slightest squeeze at the bottom of the tube is needed to dispense a small amount of product, and only a small amount is needed to do the job. I first dab the concealer with my finger then use a Nude by Nature concealer brush to blend in the product. This works really well and what’s more there is minimal creasing. I’ve also tried two different eye creams under the product with success. I don’t need a heavy duty concealer and this one is perfect for brightening the area around my eyes. I also use the brush to apply concealer around my nose, on my age spots and anywhere else that needs help.

I absolutely love this concealer because it is so easy to apply and spread. It does a great job of hiding the imperfections under my eyes and blemishes on my face. It definitely gives a brightening effect and looks natural. I use this concealer daily and highly recommend it.

Nude by Nature Perfecting Concealer is probably the best natural concealer that I have tried. I selected shade: 05 Sand. It was a little more peach toned in real life but it actually brightened my eye area nicely. I found that the applicator applied the product evenly but I still prefer to warm it up with my fingers before applying for a seamless application. It needs to be blended well because it has a slightly sticky consistency. It doesn’t turn matte or dry out so it did settle into my fine lines by the end of the day so I found that I needed to smooth it out again but I usually touch up anyway so that wasn't a problem. With all of that said I did like the fresh, dewy finish - perfect for under the eyes. It covered my imperfections and fresh, dewy finish - perfect for under the eyes. So I’m pretty happy with the end result.

This was previously called Liquid Mineral Concealer but now comes in more shades. It is a medium coverage liquid concealer that comes in a small squeezable tube. The ingredients are natural and include: Glycerin, Jojoba oil, Shea butter, beeswax, Squalane, Kakadu plum extract, Vit E. It is a bit runny, you could use fingers to apply but I'd recommend a concealer brush for better control. It blends nicely but in terms of coverage you may need more than 1 layer to conceal. I use it around the eye area and it doesn't crease or settle into my fine lines. It's ok as a concealer but you may need more than one layer for adequate coverage. It leaves a natural finish that is not too flat. It does expire quite quickly after opening - you have to use it up in 6 months.

Just like foundation, the packaging looked sleek and somewhat impressive but the product itself turned out to be so disappointing. First the shade - nothing like what it was suppose to be - much more whiter and sticky stuff that didn't blend well even though the foundation is super oily. The finish was tacky to say the least and keep far far away from crease prone areas cause it just highlighted all those tiny lines 10x as soon as applied. Even when used for contouring and very very tiny bit, still hard to blend, hard to get even finish and after all that work - looked like cheap sunscreen white cast. The tube wasn't as messy or tricky for me as some other members but definitely a lip gloss like design doesn't seem suitable for a concealer. Overall, not touching it again and can't even think if this can suit any other skin type.
