Olay Regenerist Luminous Tone Perfecting Cream

The texture of this whipped cream was very interesting. I could feel the whipped technology. Although, some people might think the texture may be a bit weird, because I felt that the first time I wore it, but it felt very smooth when it is set. I usually put this on before I put on makeup. It gave me nice glowy skin for my base and my make up goes on it really nicely. I highly recommended to use this as your base of makeup.

I have a very strong passion for Olay products so I was very excited when I was given a 14g jar of the Olay Regenerist Luminous Tone perfecting Cream while I was on holiday in the USA. I read up on this cream and found that it was mainly aimed at people with issues such as dark spots, age spots and sunspots.  None of which I have issues with.  I do however have pale skin that battles with rosacea issues and im always red and being told that I have sunburn.  Very frustrating.  So with nothing to lose I decided to give it a go.  I wasnt really expecting much as I felt that I was not the target audience.   This is a lovely pink lightly scented cream that has a very velvety texture and thats just how it made my skin feel.  After two days of use I was thrilled to see that my redness had calmed and my skin had a lovely glow.  Ive been using this cream for the past week and only during the day.  I still have quite a bit left in the small jar so im finding it very economical.  Obviously at this stage I cant talk about long term changes but if it keeps my redness at bay I will happily purchase a full size jar of this product.

The cream is peachy in colour and is of medium consistency/thickness. In the jar, it looks like any other Olay or L’Oreal day cream and has a similar perfumed fragrance. It’s not too heavy or overly overwhelming, it is quite nice and refreshing scent.  After cleansing and toning, I used a small spatula to scoop the cream out of the jar and applied to my face and neck. After rubbing it in with my fingers, the cream instantly absorbed and sank right into my skin. It did not feel greasy at all and there was no tacky sticky finish. For this reason it felt like it was not heavy duty enough to moisturise my normal to dry skin. My skin did feel soft afterwards though. This is good for layering under foundation and make up to prevent the build up of too much product on the skin. Perhaps for those with oily skin, this would suit better. For this reason, it was OK but I wouldn’t purchase this as it doesn’t suit my needs.

recently I purchased this tone perfecting cream to use after the tone perfecting serum, products i had never tried before, I was really impressed, the serum is lovely and this moisturiser is super luxurious and super hydrating. I save this for night and even though it feels thick and silky it is light and comfortable to wear and non greasy. It makes my skin look better, more youthful and firm, it absorbs well and makes skin super soft so well worth the money. I loved this and am glad I purchased it. great product I would recommend

I have used Olay Regenerist Luminous Tone Perfecting Cream in the past but after having gone through one jar I decided not to repurchase because I couldn’t see any noticeable reduction in my dark spots or evening out of my skin tone.    The lightweight, non-greasy cream is packaged in a glass jar with a silver screw top lid which is quite stylish.  The cream has a subtle, pleasant fragrance.    The cream absorbed well and definitely made my skin feel soft and look nice and smooth but lots of moisturisers and treatments do the same thing.  Yes, my skin was well hydrated and had a healthy glow, but I suppose I was expecting more from the Olay Regenerist LuminousTone Perfecting Cream because of the claims that the cream ‘helps to even skin tone and minimise the appearance of dark spots, age spots, sun spots and discolouration’  which I just could not see after a few months of using the product.   

The olay luminous cream simply brings a glow to my   face  and it feels much more supple.  I have  recommended  to my friends that they must try this cream . It has the right amount of fragrance and because =my skin is sensitive it seems to be okay with it. The best cream i have tried.

This has been my favourite night cream as I find it too rich for daytime wear.  It is fragranced, but my sensitive skin seems to cope with it ok.  The texture is just gorgeous - it melts into the skin and leaves it feeling incredibly soft and lovely.  That softness lasts until morning and I noticed my skin rarely broke out when using this.  Not really any noticeable effect on the skin in terms of luminosity or brightness, but it's still my favourite night cream.
