I have received this cleanser as a gift with their regenerist moisturizer. The formula is creamy with beads in it. When used daily (as I do with cleansers) it dried my skin out and made it tight every time after cleansing. Beads do not serve as a scrub, just float around in the cream. On the end of first week of using it had to stop. My eczema patch above eyebrow appeared (only comes out when using harsh skincare). Checked the formula and found not just that it contains many non-skin friendly ingredients but also plastic microbeads! I thought they were banned by now! But no unfortunately. Besides plastic in the formula there is SLS, alcohol, strong perfume (soapy scent) and nothing good for the skin really overall. Decided to use the rest as a body wash, but even there was just too harsh. My lower leg areas (shin) were flaky and dry within days of using it!

Olay Regenerist Revitalising Cream Cleanser is a creamy cleanser which contains oxygenated derma-beads to gently exfoliate the skin. . While using the cleanser I can detect a subtle, pleasant fragrance – maybe floral. This product comes in a silver and red 100g tube with a black flip-top lid.
I have combination to dry skin and I’m always wary of products that could dry out my skin, such as foaming cleansers. This creamy cleanser doesn’t feel drying at all and it has not caused me any irritation.
To use the cleanser I wet my face and apply a small amount of the cream, massaging gently over my skin. I then rinse my face in warm water to ensure all the product is removed. I only use the cleanser during my morning shower to remove my night creams and to prepare my skin for the day, so I cannot say how effectively it removes a full face of makeup.
The cleanser feels like a light scrub and leaves my skin feeling smooth, firm and revitalised. With such a lovely clean surface my essence, serum and moisturiser then spread easily over my skin.
I think the Olay Regenerist Revitalising Cream Cleanser is reasonably priced, is an effective cleanser and is worth a try.
I absolutely adore the olay regenerist moisturisers so decided to try the cleanser to see if it was just as good. I was suitably impressed as for the money it delivers great results, so its excellent value. The derma beads in this exfoliate gently and leave skin feeling super clean and fresh. The cleanser is easy to use, just spread some in the palm with a little water and massage in. It rinses off with ease, and whenever I use it my skin feels really soft and smooth afterwards. It is not at all drying yet removes all traces of oil and grime and the days makeup with ease. The handy tube is user friendly and eliminates waste and the cleanser if nicely scented. I could find no faults with this cream cleanser, it really is revitalising for skin and I would purchase it again.
I recieived this as a Xmas gift and is the first time in using Olay cleanser for this range. The tube has a good image of the Regenerist range and was able to squeeze desired quantity without wastage. At first glance I was very happy to see a smooth thick creamy cleanser But soon as I applied it on my face I felt some microbeads which I think is unneccesary and disappointed me a bit. I cleansed as usual on my face and even though it did leave me with clean smooth skin I didnt like the grainy feel on my face. It wasn't till I read the back of the tube it actually said it was also an exfoliator. It should be labelled on the Front of the tube.
Anyway if you like this type of cleanser go for it otherwise go for one with no microbeads or in this case exfolliators.
Olay Regenerist Revitalising Cream Cleanser is my favourite cleanser ever! I use it every morning, and it makes me feel awake, refreshed and revitalised. It is a lovely, soft and creamy cleanser, that spreads so easily over your skin. It has oxygenated derma-beads which gently exfoliate your skin, leaving it feeling smooth and soft, everyday!
I use this cleanser everyday, in the morning, as it is fabulous for removing excess oils, and cleaning your skin, leaving it ready for your skincare routine to face the day. I only use this cleanser once a day, in the morning, as it does gently exfoliate, so you don;t need to use it twice a day.
You only need a small amount, as it lathers up well, and quickly too, and you use it on wet skin. Rinse well and your skin feels deep cleansed, refreshed and also hydrated and moisturised.
Great value, one tube will last you about 4 monthes
Creamy and hydrating, but cleanses super effectively
Also a lovely and gentle exfoliant, which is suitable for daily use
Suitable for daily use and all skin types
As good as very expensive cleansers, but a quarter of the price
I recommend this cleanser to everyone who loves a nice, refreshing cleanser in the morning, which you wash off. It's a great start to your skincare routine for the day. It is suitable for all skin types and tones. This is a great cleanser that I love and use daily and will happily for years to come.
This has become one of my all-time favourite cleansers for many different reasons. Let's start with the lovely light and creamy formula, which feels comforting and revitalising (as the name suggests) when on the skin. It is a daily face wash which doubles as your cleanser and exfoliant because it contains red and white exfoliating granules. There are many reasons I love this cleanser: the formula contains anti-ageing ingredients, my skin feels really clean after each use, the scent is light, appealing and uplifting (I'm not sure how to describe the scent though), and it has made my face, neck and decollete feel quite smooth thanks to the Aminopeptide complex. While I personally would not use it on a daily basis (because I cleanse twice daily, and get whiteheads when I over-exfoliate), so if your skin is like mine I suggest alternating it with a cleanser that serves another purpose, otherwise daily use should be fine.
