Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Ultra Gentle Facial Cleansing Oil

This stuff is amazing!!! I have been using this as a first step in a double cleanse in my night time routine, only when I wear make up. I find that this removes most of my make up and grime from the day and it leaves the skin feeling amazing and hydrated. I then use a gentle cleanser as the next step. I am even considering using this as my night face wash on the days I don't wear make up instead of my gentle cleanser. I love the feel of this and it has a slight fragrance to it, which I actually quite like! The best thing about this is it is free from the nasties and is very very affordable! So glad I found this brand! Definitely will be repurchasing!

At night if I have been wearing makeup during the day, I like to double cleanse to make sure that all makeup is 100% removed and my skin is perfectly clean before I apply my serums and night cream.  I use the Palmers Cleansing Oil first.  I use one pump of the cleansing oil and gently massage it over my face and neck and then I add a little water to my hands and massage over my face.  The oil then changes into a mild milky lather.  When I rinse this off my skin feels clean and hydrated.  I have sensitive skin, but this wonderfully scented oil has not caused any negative reactions at all, and perhaps the fact that it contains Vitamin E helps. I really love the pump bottle and especially love the fact that the pump itself reaches right to the bottom of the bottle so as you near the end of your cleansing oil you will still be able to access the product.  The fact that the bottle is see through is another thing that I personally like. I like to be able to see exactly how much product I have left as running out of this product without warning would not make me happy at all.  Mind you I always have an extra bottle of this cleansing oil in stock. Wonderfully easy to use, great packaging and kind to sensitive skin.  Great value and a single pump is all you need per wash, so a bottle lasts me quite some time.

I love using oil cleaners to remove make up and was excited when  Palmer released their own version as I love their body lotions.  It was effective at removing all my making gently, however I'm rating this product 3 stars because it left my face feeling oily - which is such a big no no for me. Other oil cleansers I've tried whilst have been more expensive, left my face feeling hydrating without the feeling of oil residue. I don't feel comfortable using this without a double cleanse because of that.  However I feel if you had very dry skin, this may be a great product for you. 

While you would think that a cleansing oil would only work well for dry skin, it's actually great for all skin types! The Palmers cocoa butter ultra gentle cleansing oil is a gentle yet effective face wash that can be used just as a regular cleanser or as a way of removing makeup.  If you have never tried a cleansing oil before I would definitely recommend it!  Product: The cleansing oil is made up of 8 different oils which includes soybean oil, sweet almond oil, apricot kernel oil, sesame seed oil, jojoba oil, rice bran oil, grape seed oil and argan oil.  It also contains cocoa butter which moisturises the skin and gives the product a nice, sweet scent.  It is used as a mild face wash to remove dirt, oil and makeup.  It's also very affordable at only $15 which makes it a great buy.   How to use it: The cleansing oil can be used in many different ways and for different things.  Some people may like to use it as an everyday cleanser if they have very dry skin and want something hydrating.  Other people, like myself, like to use it for removing makeup as it helps dissolve everything, including mascara.  It makes taking off your makeup so much easier as it only requires washing your face.  You can use it by pumping the product into your hands and mixing it with water which turns it into a milky emulsion.  For a deep clean you can use it along with a wash cloth but either way works fine.   Results: I don't use this cleanser everyday but with regards to double cleansing it does such a great job.  My skin is more on the oily side and I find that the cleansing oil is lightweight yet hydrating without clogging my pores or making my skin breakout.  I use this as my first step with removing makeup and then I follow it up with a foaming cleanser but sometimes I just use the cleansing oil on its own.  My skin always feel so soft and clean after using. It leaves my skin moisturised without leaving any residue behind.  During the winter when my skin can get a bit drier the cleansing oil keeps my skin balanced.  

This is fantastic at thoroughly cleansing, I use it after I wear full waterproof make-up or zinc-based sunscreen and it gets everything off easily.  You only need a small amount so the price is very good value. It does feel a bit greasy when you first put it on, but this all washes off and there's no oily residue left behind. I have dry skin and this never leaves my skin feeling tight or dry after cleaning which many other cleansers do. My face feels soft, smooth, hydrated and bouncy with this!

Palmer's cleansing oil is super affordable, effective and does what it says! This comes with a pump top, that delivers a beautiful smelling non greasy oil into the hand. One pump over my face and I'm good to go. It spreads easily and is quite thick on application. The smell is chocolate and sweet. I rub this amazing cocktail blend of oils on my face and it removes makeup, grease and oil from the day. Adding a bit of water turns this into a milky white lotion, further removing grease. I mix this in with my fingers. After rinsing with water I'm left with beautiful soft clean skin that is perfectly balanced-no grease, oil or makeup left. There's no rubbing, pulling or harshness on skin- it just melts off. The blend of eight oils including jojoba and cocoa butter leave skin hydrated and soft. I have combination skin prone to blocked pores- this keeps them clean and i haven't suffered breakouts or clogged pores. Plus skin isn't over taught or have dry spots. I think this is fantastic and a really affordable cleansing oil that does an amazing job.
