PREVAGE® Anti-Aging Eye Serum 2.0

The star ingredient of this formulation and generally in the Prevage range is idebenone. Idebenone is a synthetic antioxidant originally developed by a Japanese pharmaceutical company. I have mixed feelings about idebenone and unfortunately did not see any visible results from using this serum other than a tad lightening and firming of my under eye area. I otherwise found the serum overall light, hydrating and soothing, but I am not sure it is worth the hefty price tag. The applicator attached to the tube housing this serum, however, is my favourite feature. Especially when cold, it helped to instantly depuff my under eye area and it was also helpful with accurately dispensing the formulation and applying it perfectly to the arc of my under eye and above eye areas. I usually have trouble consistently remembering to apply eye cream but I found myself reaching for this all the time.

I've always experienced amazing results when using Elizabeth Arden products and the new Prevage Anti-Aging Eye Serum Serum 2.0 is another great product that works wonders for me. I wanted to firstly mention the screw on lid because it's definitely innovative. It's the first lid I've ever seen like this. It has a little plastic pin that goes inside the serum tube as you screw it on to reduce any serum building up and drying around the hole. It also prevents air from getting inside the tube. I absolutely loved this feature. My concern around my eye area is mainly fine lines. Over the past couple of months I have noticed fine lines appearing underneath my eyes and on the outer edges of my eyes. Other eye creams hydrated the area but did nothing more than that. This eye serum is thick and creamy and has a cooling metal applicator tip which instantly de-puffs my under eyes. The eye serum doesn't sit on top of my skin or leave a film on my skin like other eye creams and serums have in the past. It also doesn't pill. It absorbs nicely. It's also fragrance-free. A little goes a long way with this eye serum so it will last me a while. The skin under my eyes and my crepey fine lines on the outer edge of my eyes above my cheekbones look and feel smoother and plumper and has a tightened/firmer look. It also does a fantastic job at hydrating the area and it also looks brighter. I am very happy with this eye serum as it has given me results that no other eye products have given me and I can't wait to see further results with continued use. What an amazing product!

This serum come is a generously sized 20ml tube with a metal applicator tip which not only ensures an easily measured application, but also helps to smooth the serum around the delicate eye area without pulling or stretching the skin, while providing a nice cooling effect to help de-puffing the dreaded eye-bags & give the area a gentle massage. The serum is much like a lightweight cream, with very little fragrance & it layers well with my other skincare products & make-up. It is formulated to brighten, moisturise, de-puff and help to correct all visible signs of ageing around the eyes, including fine lines and crow’s feet, dark circles, loss of radiance and loss of firmness. I have been using this eye serum both day & night for 4 weeks now & although at first, I didn’t see any measurable results, I have started to notice a clear reduction in my dark circles & my eyes seem to be less puffy in the mornings now. Unfortunately, I still haven’t seen a notable improvement in lines & wrinkles (crow’s feet) but overall, my eye area does look & feel more hydrated & softer. I am hoping with continued use, I will really start to see the other benefits start to emerge. I am not sure that I would invest in another tube based on the results I have experienced so far due to the high price tag, but I think I will need to give this serum more time to really shine before I can say that for sure.

I can’t speak highly enough of this eye serum. It certainly works. I am always on the lookout for eye products that work as one of the first signs of ageing is around the eyes. This serum has improved puffiness around my eyes and made my eyes look brighter, fresher and more youthful. My skin is firmer and smoother when I use this serum and the appearance of fine lines and crows feet has diminished. The serum is easy to apply, I just pat a few drops gentle and the cooling massager gently massages it in and feels amazing. This is an expensive product but a little goes a long way and the results are more than worth the cost. It’s beautifully packaged in silver and feels so luxe. It doesn’t irritate sensitive skin and is super hydrating. I adore this serum and would highly recommend it
