Redken Acidic Color Gloss Conditioner

I enjoyed trying this product however I did not notice any substantial difference in the shine or colour lasting. I generally use products that are used for hydrating rather than colour and shine so I was excited to try this. I loved the packaging and the size was great. I did really enjoy the scent and it left my hair smelling really nice for a few days. I did the find the conditioner to be a bit on the heavier side. I don’t have fine hair so even for me I did notice the difference and it did get a little greasy in a few days where I typically wouldn’t. I also generally use a hydrating mask as a conditioner rather than a standard conditioner product. As mentioned, it was on the heavier side and I don’t usually mind that but again it did make my hair a little greasier than normal. I think I would use this in future separately rather then the set together. Overall not a bad product however I have enjoyed other products more.

Using all three products (shampoo, conditioner and heat protectant), I really expected more. I do have quite dull looking frizzy hair and I’m yet to find a product that solves that. My hair was not more glossy and was not less frizzy. Whilst I will note that my hair did immediately feel soft after washing out the conditioner, that’s really where it ended. There’s no noticeable standouts for this product range and for the price point, I’m better off buying a supermarket alternative. Really had high hopes!
