Redken Extreme Length Shampoo

Love this shampoo. It was recommended to me by my hairdresser and it’s fabulous. My hair is very thick and is coloured. After using this shampoo I have less breakage and split ends, my hair is hydrated, manageable and really shiny. It lathers well, smells nice and rinsed easily. I recommend using the matching conditioner for best results. I don’t need to use a lot so it’s quite good value. A gorgeous shampoo I would highly recommend

Reviewing this shampoo came at the perfect time as due to being in COVID isolation I didn’t cut or colour my hair for three months. I definitely noticed less breakage and more hair growth during this time. Product smells great and leaves my hair shiny and with no frizz.

I have a very long and dyed hair, that is why I am very fussy when it comes to my hair routine and the brands and products that I apply on my hair. Not all of then works on it. But I was surprised with this range. It not only works well, but the results were great! The shampoo has a light texture and a very subtle smell. It works as a great cleanser and also I realise that it doesn’t tangle my hair that much. Moreover I feel my hair stronger and with less breakage. Very good shampoo in my opinion!

After trialling this shampoo for over a month I am definitely converted. It made my hair feel incredibly clean and refreshed. As someone who already has a lot of hair it’s too difficult to tell how much growth it promoted. But using it has kept my hair hydrated and left it feeling salon soft after every wash.

This shampoo has left my hair feeling incredibly soft and healthy! Easy to lather and smells lovely. I haven't noticed any growth in my hair but will definitely continue using to see

Really fabulous shampoo! My hair has been getting quite long in this quarantine environment so this was just what I needed! Product smells absolutely wonderful (though not overpowering) and a little goes a long way! Doesn't create a massive lather but the product does spread very easily. Post wash, hair is defintely smoother (even before applying the leave in conditioner) and I've noticed less hair loss/breakage in the shower as well. Would recommend!

Upon first using it, this has an amazing soft and feminine scent. It lathered well, which meant I didn't need to use a lot to cover my whole head. It left my hair feeling smooth, clean and fresh, and I notice less breakage overall. I didn't feel my hair grew any more than normal however have only used it for a month so far. Along with the conditioner and leave it treatment, this was a great product and I would definitely buy more when I run out.

After trialling the Redken Extreme Length Shampoo, I Definately noticed a difference in my hair’s strength. However, not so much on the length. I feel like this is quite a ‘heavy’ shampoo, having such fine hair I noticed doing 2 washes made my hair extremely oily after only a few days, so I had to dial it back to only 1 wash. The scent is so fresh, not heavy, and the soap leather made my scalp feel really clean. As far as growth, I didn’t notice all that much, however my hair does struggle to grow, so I’m in no way disappointed with this product

I have fine hair but LOTS of it, and I really like this shampoo! I have been using it alongside the Extreme Length conditioner and the leave-in treatment for approximately 4-6 weeks and I’m super happy with the results. The shampoo itself is really light, it lathers well and has a great scent- it’s quite sweet on the nose (not overbearing at all). My hair feels clean, shiny and soft afterwards. When I switch up hair products I usually experience some initial greasiness/excess oil as my scalp adjusts to a new product, but I didn’t at all with this shampoo. I also sometimes experience scalp sensitivity, and again, no issues at all. I’m impressed with how healthy and strong my hair feels overall. With limited exposure to Vitamin D due to COVID, my hair has been growing exceptionally well! Haven’t had it cut in 4-5 months and it’s growing fast, because it feels strong with no breakages. I would definitely recommend this complete hair care system as I feel the products work together to produce a fantastic result.

This is my new go to shampoo. I have noticed such a difference in the condition of my hair and have also noticed hair growth. It also smells good and lathers really well. Would definitely recommend to people that have dry damaged hair.

The Redken Extreme Length Shampoo is a great quality product. I’m very fussy about which brands I trust to use on my hair and Redken is one of the few on my list. I was keen to try this range as I’ve had great success with their protein anti snap products. This shampoo makes my hair feel great and a little goes a really long way. I am still a bit early into my new regime to notice dramatic results but I think that it is helping my hair to be stronger and I will repurchase.

I thoroughly enjoyed using this shampoo. After 2 weeks of continuous use, hair felt stronger and silkier. The scent itself is quite sweet and powdery but wasn't too overpowering. I paired this with their stay in conditioner and it worked beautifully.

I received this as part of the review crew and I have loved it! My mother in law was the first to notice that I switched shampoo as she said my hair looked amazing, and that it did. It looked and felt healthier than before, I even started using it on my daughters hair too. I havent really noticed if its helped me with the length of my hair over the past month but it has really helped my hair appear and feel a lot better.

I was lucky enough to trial the Redken Extreme Length Shampoo and I was really happy with it. I'm not sure that I would say that my hair growth increased dramatically, but I definitely had less breakage while using this shampoo. I have tried other shampoos that are designed to assist with hair growth and they are normally quite drying and tough on my hair and colour, the Redken Extreme Length Shampoo kept my hair soft, easy to manage and it did not fade my colour at all. I like the packaging, the clear bottle makes it easy to see how much product was left . I also liked the subtle fragrance that there were no additional colourants in the product. i will be buying this product again.

This shampoo made my hair feel really clean and fresh. I feel like it did a wonderful job cleansing my hair whilst still keeping it hydrated. I enjoyed that it had a pleasant scent that wasn't over powering. What I love most about this collection is that it gave my hair that salon soft feeling at home!

I used the Redken Extreme Length Shampoo as part of the 3-step system with the Conditioner and Leave-In Treatment. For reference, I have thick hair (and quite a lot of it) which is dry. After using this, I didn't experience any noticeable increase in length but I did notice slightly less hair fall-out after washing. Thinning hair is not a concern for me but this would be a good product if you are concerned with hair loss. I found that it was deeply cleansing and left my hair soft and lightweight the first day after washing. It didn't irritate my scalp either as some products can lead to dandruff. The shampoo also has a noticeable cherry scent, which reminded me a little like cough medicine! I did find it disappointing that SLS is the second ingredient on the list too.

I absolutely love the smell of the shampoo! As a cleanser it works amazing I usually do 2 shampoos to one conditioner. I have sensitive skin, and had no reaction. I had my hair cut the day before I started using this and haven't noticed a dramatic change in length. But in saying my hair looks healthier- not as many split ends and definitely shinier. I would buy Redken again based off how well it works for my hair, maybe with some more use I will notice some more length benefits from it. I have 4 stars because the cleansing properties of the shampoo were amazing!!!

A fantastic shampoo perfect for people with damaged hair like mine. If your hair is damaged particularly from colouring, this is definitely going to help. It is colour safe, leaves your hair feeling clean and fresh and doesn't dry it out. The smell is nice as well!

I used this along with the conditioner and leave in treatment. I wasn't overly impressed that the second ingredient after water was Sodium Laureth Sulfate although my hair does feel stonger after using this. The smell was loverly without being too overpowering!

I really enjoyed this shampoo. It smells delicious and leaves my hair feeling clean without feeling stripped. My hair grows notoriously quickly, so I’m not sure if it made it grow any faster but I have noticed less fall out since using this line of products.
