Revlon PhotoReady Candid Antioxidant™ Concealer

I'm always on the lookout for an effective concealer that not only covers my imperfections, but is also hydrating and brightening. I decided to try this Revlon concealer as it contains antioxidants and is fragrance-free. There isn't a huge range of shades available, and I found that Creme Brulee suited my fair-light skin tone the best. The concealer comes in a tube, however it has a plush doe-foot applicator which makes it easy to apply directly under the eye area and to imperfections. This concealer has creamy, non-drying texture and it provides light to medium coverage. It does brighten the eye area and doesn't settle into fine lines or look too cakey on me. Overall it's good, fairly affordable concealer if you don't want that really heavy or pigmented coverage.

I have this in the shade Banana and use this as an undereye concealer as well as to accentuate areas of the face much like a very subtle highlighter. I love the texture that is creamy and easy to work with once you get the hang of it - it dries really fast so you need to work pretty quickly to get even results, but apart from the initial getting use to, I now love it. It has medium coverage which is good for me as I don't have really bad undereye circles, for me it brightens up the area really well and doesn't settle as long as I prep the area with a good undereye serum before application. It's a really good price for the quality and results.

I grabbed this when I picked up the photoready foundation, in the yellow banana shade to help combat redness and dark circles. It is easy to apply and sits well on the skin, but it regard to covering dark circles it didn't really do enough for me (I do have bad genetic dark circles though so this is the case with most concealers). I wouldn't repurchase, but I think it may be a nice product for those with just a little darkness they want to cover.

I love revlon products and have used the foundation in this range, its awesome. This antioxident concealer does a great job of masking fine lines and imperfections. I use it under my foundation as thats the way I prefer, it makes my under eye area look younger as it disguises fine lines and dark circles. Its also great for hiding any pigmentation and skin imperfections. Its packaged nicely and is easy to use, I like to just blend with my fingers. It never goes cakey or oily and isnt heavy to wear, it gives a medium coverage without drying out my skin. its a lifesaver if the odd spot comes out as it conceals these really well too. I tend to have sensitive skin and for those who also have sensitive skin I recommend it as its super gently with no parabens. Love this and highly recommend it.

This Photoready Candid Antioxidant Concealer is my first experience with a concealer from Revlon. I have the shade 001 Banana, which is supposed to be a universal shade for concealing dark circles under the eyes. That's is exactly how I use it and I works wonders! It completely covers any darkness under my eyes and makes my skin there look bright even on the days when I definitely did not have enough sleep. I do find that if I don't set it quickly with powder, it will crease. The doe foot applicator is especially good for applying the concealer under the eyes. 

Although this particular product range has recommendation of using concealer after the foundation, I tried it out both ways - before and after and both the methods work depending on what you want to conceal. The main purpose of this particular concealer is to help with blending in dark tone patches like under eyes and that it does beautifully. Although the Banana shade is bit too light for my skin, it does blend seamlessly and helps even out the skin tone. Unlike the foundation, this one blends better with a sponge. But, it did have the same problem of not sticking to dry patches, too. Although I felt the finish was bit chalky, it warmed up with skin after few minutes and wasn't looking so bad. Although, it does make the coverage look heavier than I like but for those who are really concerned about hiding away dark patches, this can be a life saver. 

This is one of the first Revlon products I have ever tested and I must say I really like it. I have got it in a shade BANANA and it fits my skin tone well. I only use it as an under eye area concealer to be specific. I think it has a good coverage, it does not go into my tiny ( bit still visible) wrinkles. It brightens the area nicely and doesn't feel heavy on the skin at all. The packaging is quite handy and definitely travel friendly as it is a simple plastic tube with a wand. I have not noticed any drying out of my skin, I do think that the "care'inspired" formula does a great job. The banana shade as the name indictaes is yellow and great at hiding the blue/Purple under eye area. I look more awake and fresh thanks to this concealer. Highly recommend.
