Great product

The Revlon Professional Restart Color Anti-Brassiness Purple Drops have become a must-have in my hair routine. The packaging makes it really easy to use – just a few drops mixed into my conditioner, and I'm good to go. My hair, which tends to get brassy between salon visits, felt noticeably cooler and brighter after using this. I love how gentle the formula is on my scalp; it doesn’t irritate or feel too harsh. The scent is mild, so it doesn’t overpower, and the drops blend seamlessly into my routine. I’ve been using them regularly, and the difference is clear – those yellow and orange tones that usually creep in are now under control. If you have blonde or grey hair and want a simple, effective way to keep your colour looking fresh, I’d definitely recommend giving these a try.

An ash based toner for antibrassiness tones

The Revolon anti grassiness purple drops are a product to use in conjunction with the revlon restart conditioner. These drops when applied help eliminate brassy tones to blond toned hair. I find this product helps to tone hair however if left too long can dull warmer blond tones. The toner provides a very ash based tone. The packaging is sleek and minimal and the dosage provide a small drop each time eliminating mess and product wasteage. I would recommend this product if the user is after an ash based toner.

Great

I've been using these purple drops for a couple of weeks and really like how they work. They’re easy to mix with my regular shampoo and conditioner, which is super convenient, and they help tone down the brassiness in my highlights, giving my hair a more natural, cooler tone. The best part is that the effect is subtle, so you can control how much toning you want. A little goes a long way, and I love that the bottle lasts a while. The pump design is handy, though it can be a bit stiff when your hands are wet, but overall, it's a small issue for such an effective product. Just be sure to use gloves to avoid staining your hands. These drops are a great addition to my hair care routine, and I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking to keep their blonde fresh without the commitment of a full purple shampoo!

Top Product!

Revlon Professional Restart - colour anti-brassiness purple drops is hands down the best addition to this repair system I have found! My hair is chemotherapy regrowth, almost shoulder length, curly and bleach blonde! My hair throws gold tones like a leprechaun under a rainbow, it’s relentless. I love that I can control the amount of purple I add because there’s also nothing worse than going to a professional job with a purple head! I also love that I can add it to the shampoo I wish to use - and I’m not just using a generic shampoo for the colour! I will continue to use this product!

Worth a try

I don't normally use anti-brassiness serums or treatments in fear that my colour blend will be adversly affected. I was nervous to trial the Revlon Professional Restart color anti-brassiness purple drops, though was surprised. The product was super easy to use and had a really nice fragrance and feel. I found the lack of clarity around directions (ie how much to use and now long to leave on for) fairly frustrating which added to my fear. I didn't notice a great difference on my highlights but would be willing to continue trying in the future.

Worth a try

I recently tried the Revlon Professional Restart Color Anti-Brassiness Purple Drops, and my experience with the product has been a bit of a mixed bag. On the positive side, the concept of the purple drops is fantastic for anyone with blonde, gray, or lightened hair. The formula is designed to neutralize unwanted brassiness, and I noticed a significant improvement in the brightness of my color after just a couple of uses. The drops have a vibrant purple hue, which indicates their effectiveness, and they blend well into my hair care routine without leaving any residue. I appreciated how easily they mixed with my regular conditioner or leave-in products. The scent is pleasant, too—fresh without being overpowering, which is a plus when it comes to hair products. However, I did encounter some downsides. While the drops effectively counteract brassiness, I found that they can sometimes leave a slight purple tint if not rinsed out properly or if used in excess. It took a bit of trial and error to find the right balance for my hair. In summary, the Revlon Professional Restart Color Anti-Brassiness Purple Drops have their strengths, especially in combating brassiness and enhancing brightness. However, users should approach with caution regarding the quantity used to avoid any unintended tinting. If you’re looking for a quick fix for brassy tones and are willing to experiment a bit, these drops might be worth a try. Just be sure to incorporate a good hydrating product alongside it for the best results!

Great idea for a product

I like the idea of this product as it saves you from having another shampoo product in the shower like a purple shampoo. However I do have blinds through my hair and I did feel like these weren’t as effective as a toning shampoo but I like the fact that whenever I’m needing to get rid of some brassiness I can just add a few drops of this to my shampoo and pop it back in the cupboard. I trialled this product for around three weeks however I usually only tone my hair about once every week so this product would last me for a long time which I think is another great bonus. I am naturally brown and have some ombré type fouls in at the moments so I think this product is great for that as I don’t need a lot of toning anymore however if I had bleached blonde hair like I used to then I would for sure need a stronger product.

Total GAMECHANGER

I am OBSESSED with these drops and cannot believe this type of thing is not more common. I found them to be rather strong which I was worried about as this is not your regular purple shampoo, it still made my hair look as good as it would but much more moisturised when compared to my purple shampoo which I absolutely loved. A little definitely goes a long way and the smaller packaging makes it so much easier to store in my shower. The smell was pretty good too, not overpowering whatsoever. I will definitely be repurchasing these and using them all the time.

Customizable drops

I love how customizable this product is. You simply add a few drops to your conditioner or styling product, making it easy to control the intensity. A little goes a long way, and after just a couple of uses, I noticed a significant reduction in the yellow tones in my hair. My blonde is now a much cooler, ashy tone, which is exactly what I wanted. The formula is lightweight, doesn’t leave any residue, and doesn’t dry out my hair like some purple shampoos or treatments do. It also doesn’t stain my hands or shower, which is a bonus! Plus, the drops have a nice, subtle fragrance that leaves my hair smelling fresh. In summary, these purple drops are super effective, easy to use, and give professional-looking results from home.

Amazing for blondes

As an Asian with very dark brown natural hair that has been bleached many many times to get to platinum blonde this shampoo was so nice and nourishing for my hair. The only bad thing to me was that the fragrance was a little strong for me (I have really sensitive skin - most people would say it’s a good thing) but other than that I loved this shampoo and conditioner set, it made my hair feel so nice and soft. I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing a new shampoo and conditioner set. Oh but don’t forget about the sealing drops! They made my hair feel so nice and new

Removes any brassiness with ease!

This was my first time using Revlon Professional Restart Color Anti-Brassiness Purple Drops and I am definetely impressed. I love the fact you can add these drops to your shampoo/conditioner rather than having to use full purple shampoo and conditioner and effectively have the same results, if not better when needing a refresh to minimize any brassiness. Great size bottle and very easy to apply. I noticed a big difference from the first time I used the product and will continue to use them when needed. I will be recommending these drops to everyone I know that bleaches their hair!

Stunning product

Since I have started using the Revlon Professional Restart color anti-brassiness purple drops, my blonde highlights have never looked better!! I absolutely love the option of being able to put the anti-brassiness purple drops in either the restart range shampoo or conditioner which is great if you forget to add them to your shampoo! I like putting it in my conditioner as you are then able to leave it in that bit longer as your conditioner soaks in. It doesn’t stain like other purple products and the container is nice and slimline, easy to use. I would recommend this product for people with blonde highlights or blonde all over, looking to brighten up their hair!

Perfect

I have been using the Revlon Professional Restart color anti-brassiness purple drops along with the recovery restorative micellar shampoo, melting conditioner, and recovery anti-split ends sealing drops for the past two weeks. These drops are a wonder for brassiness, and I have noticed instant results. Any yellowing of my blonde hair is counteracted by this magic formula and my hair feels so long, thick and strong from using this along with the rest of the range. I would highly recommend this product!

Amazing purple drops to fight brassiness

I got to try the Revlon Professional Restart Color anti-brassiness purple drops and wow it really is an amazing product. I have been bleaching my hair for many years and to be honest it has ended up really dry. My hair tends to turn yellow regularly and this product helped to keep the brassiness away. This product has really changed my hair for the better and I will continue to use it. My hair looks and feels healthier and a more brighter blonde. I recommend using it with the revlon professional restart recovery restorative shampoo and conditioner for best results. My scalp isn’t as dry and itchy as it was before using this product. My hair has never looked so good and I have this amazing product to thank for it. It’s super easy to use by adding a few drops of it to your normal shampoo or conditioner and smells great. I highly recommend this product.

Convenient and refreshing

Great convenient product to help brighten up blondes and reduce brassiness overtime. I really enjoyed how it can be added to any shampoo product to pop in when you are wanting to brighten up the blonde. My previous experience with purple shampoo can leave my hair feeling dry and corse. Having the ability to include it into my regular shampoo allows me to keep hydration and smoothness to my hair. The bottle design gives the product such ease of use with its one handed function which is great when adding to shampoos. It does stain a lot and is difficult to get the purple colour of my skin, would love to see a product with the same benefits but less dye if that is possible to make.

Ok purple drops

I have been recently trialling this product in conjunction with the whole Restart range by Revlon. Having bleached/highlighted hair, I am always looking for new toning products to add to my routine. A lot of purple depositing products are usually quite drying and harsh on the hair however this product is not, which could be contributed as the pacakaging suggests to mix it with another product, the shampoo or condition. Compared to other purple products, I did not find this made too much difference to my hair, however I could test more for longer periods (just scared of depositing too much purple!)

Just okay

The packaging is cute. It's slim and compact. However, there's just too much going on with the tiny little details written on the label in front. Would probably use it for travels to maintain my coloured hair and keep it from becoming brassy. I like that it did not stain my fingers unlike other purple products. It smells nice. The product is just okay. I prefer other purple shampoo in the same price point or even cheaper. I would still recommend for others to try as it might work for them. I would not be purchasing the product.

Goodbye brass

Here’s the paragraph with the last part moved to the top: After drying my hair, I noticed a slight change; the brassiness was less pronounced, and the color appeared a bit more natural. While it didn't completely transform the tone of my hair, it did help reduce the brassy effect. The bottle had limited instructions, which meant I had to rely on the paper instructions. While the language is inclusive, I found it difficult to determine how long I should leave the product in. Additionally, I thought the size of the bottle and its price were excessive. I added three drops to my wet hair with my shampoo, and it worked well, foaming nicely.

Personalised control for brassiness

I used these purple drops to counteract some of the brassiness and yellowing of my highlights. Initially I used 2-3 drops in shampoo but only in the second shampoo. I found using the drops in the repair conditioner worked better in my hair as letting shampoo sit on my long hair for 5 minutes made ot feel a little on the dry side. I got a much better result using these drops in conditioner and my hair colour appeared more balanced and buttery. I like the concept and control you have with this product as you can add it at your prefrence in quanitity and to a shampoo, conditioner or hair mask. I would recommend going slow and adding more based on your length, hair texture and colour.
