Rimmel London Extra Long Lash Mascara

My FAVOURITE mascara ever! I have repurchased this mascara so many times! I love the wand as it is small enough for shorter lashes and the rubber bristles seem to coast the lashes perfectly everytime. I have tried the brush type wands however nothing works as well as this type of wand. I also love the formula as it coasts the lashes perfectly and doesn't smudge through the day. Will definitely keep repurchasing this!!

If you were to take a look at my dresser, you'd find at least 6 different mascaras open at any point in time, and if you were to take a closer look, then you'd find that approximately 50% of the population would be made up of Rimmel mascaras - just how much I like the mascaras! Sure, some of them haven't worked as well on me as I would have liked, but I maintain that Rimmel was the first brand where I actually noticed a difference in my lashes, and I have liked a lot of their mascaras over the years - hence, I'm always excited when I hear about a new one from them! Rimmel's Extra Long Lash mascara looks like an unassuming black tube, and the brush is slightly tapered and straight, which tends to distribute the mascara over my lashes quite evenly. This claims to lengthen lashes up to 50%, and guess what? It certainly looks like it makes mine longer! I wouldn't go as far as 50%, but it seems to make a noticeable difference on me. It's just a shame they don't hold a curl very well, but on me, that's considered the norm - it would be a bit too much to ask from one mascara! Good news for those with lashes like mine - this barely smudges! I wore it for 14 hours the first time I tried it, and I was impressed! I also had a mildly weepy moment at one point while wearing it, and it didn't run, nor did it leave black flecks that were impossible to get off. Pretty impressive overall! A bit of a quiet winner from Rimmel, and certainly one that will be heavily in rotation with me. This retails for $12.95 wherever Rimmel is stocked, including but not limited to Priceline, Target and Kmart. 

This is a good qaulity mascara with a very fair price tag to match, perfect for beginners and first timers!  I love the wand, it has an intricate shape for very easy application, i feel like each lash gets coated and separated. I'm a fan of the colour of the mascara, a nice rich and well pigmented black. Its great to find a mascara that looks matte on.  I feel like the mascara does volumise my lashes fairly well, as well as lengthen them however i feel like i have used better qaulity mascaras (although far more expensive). For the low price i think the quality is quite good though to be honest. For me personally i like to use this mascara primarily on my bottom eyelashes, because the precise wand really gets onto every little tiny eyelash.  Tips: because this wand has very small, indricate bristles, its very important to keep the wand clean and ensure there is not too much product build up so you can get a really precise look and avoid clumps.  This mascara works really well on fake eyelashes when you want that extra"boom" to your eyes.  I recommend using 2 layers during application, make the most of the dramatic colour!!! Take the time to curl your eyelashes first and you will honestly WOW everyone.  So in my opinion, if you need an affordable mascara that is super easy to apply and dramatic looking, go for this! It may not be the most lengthening or volumising but i gaurentee you will have a precise and lovely look. 

This is a great mascara for lengthening at a great price. Using this my lashes look visibly longer without caking or flaking. It stayed on all day and I could see a difference in how my lashes looked. The thick wand makes application easy and fast for gorgeous results, I would buy several at a time at this price to use all the time
