Rodan + Fields Multi-Acid Enzyme Peel™

Rodan + Fields is a new brand for me so I was keen to try this product. Wasn’t too sure what to expect as it’s called a ‘peel’ but upon reading the instructions it turns out it a serum type product in the way you use it. I am also familiar with the acids used in this product - overall the ingredients look great! First impressions on the packaging is that it felt & looked a bit cheapy and plasticy. But I note that it is partially made from recycled plastic so that makes it better. As directed I applied the product in the evening after cleansing, three times a week. I feel like the serum is very gentle despite the many acids used. After a few weeks of using my skin felt brighter and glowier. To be able to see any effects on dark spots and pores, I believe I will have to use over a longer period of time.

This Enzyme peel surpass my expectation with its light serum based texture. It was easy to apply and seem to have improved a few of the spots that I have been trying to get rid off for a long time! It seem to be more effective than the dark spot corrector that I tried but gave up. The gentle application and exfoliation meant your skin stays moist and hydrated. I also noticed that it is less irritating compared to the other exfoliating products that I have used eventhough it appeared to be more effective at improving skin tone and evens out your complexion. My skin felt silky smooth and my makeup stayed on longer the next day. I would highly recommend this product as I would be repurchasing this when I run out that's for sure.

Great product to help achieve new and fresh skin before applying any regimen for better results! Does not irritate my sensitive skin either! I tend to have large pores and sebaceous glands. Applying Multi-Acid Enzyme Peel several times per week helps to shrink them. It has helped brighten and smooth my complexion. I can see my skin tone becoming more even and the texture much smoother. When I used it under my makeup, I received compliments that my skin looked glowing :) It is a great addition to my regular routine.

If you're like me, and always striving for brighter skin with a more even tone, and you're hoping to fade those dark spots that you've got, then this may be the product to try! I always find the idea of a peel a bit daunting, mostly because I don't know where they fit into my routine, but this is marketed as a serum, so I've been using it as such. This has been created for all skin types except sensitive skin, and is meant to be especially good for those with more melanin (like me!). It helps to exfoliate, resurface and fade the look of dark spots. I like the texture of the serum, and I do feel like it's been helpful with resurfacing the skin, but I don't know that it's made a big impact on the dark spots on this point, although it is still early days. I like that I haven't reacted poorly to it, and that I have actually seen a bit of a difference to my skin at this point. I love that this has also been designed with the environment in mind, given that this contains 50% post-consumer recycled material, and meant to be recycled again once it runs out of product.

At night I have been using this white, lightweight lotion 3 times a week for almost a month. The lotion absorbs quickly into my skin. For the the first 3 weeks each morning after use I would wake up with big blind pimples on my cheeks or jaw, however the last week of use that has stopped. Over the last 4 weeks I have noticed a reduction in the big open pores which has always been a problem for me on my nose, this is fantastic for me because it is something I’m always battling. I have also experienced quite try skin, to try and combat this I have been using a more rich moisturiser. I might reduce my use to twice a week to see if this stops the dry skin. I haven’t noticed further results but look forward to continuing my use and hopefully see a more even skin tone and glowing skin.

The Rodan + Fields Multi-Acid Enzyme Peel lotion has provided my skin with some much needed radiance. I have been trialling this product for a few weeks now and not only have I noticed the radiance, I have noticed that it has been helping to minimise my pores. The description states that this product delivers a more even-looking skin tone after 8 weeks of use, so I will continue to use this product as I am excited to see how it works. So far I am thoroughly enjoying this product and how smooth and radiate it leaves my skin. I highly recommend this product.

I am obsessed with these product. Being an acidic product I was unsure how my skin might react but I found no irritation or issues bringing it into my routine. I started off by using it once every third and then did every second day and had no issues. My skin looks brighter and is literally glowing The cream is light and glides on and only a little is needed as it goes a long way. The pump helps to dispense the right amount of product every time. My only hesitation moving forward would be the price as it is on the steeper side but given the results I have experienced it is definitely worth the money

I really wanted to love this serum as I have combination/oily skin with large pores. I also have some pigmentation, dark spots, texture and scarring so I was super excited for this product. However... all this serum did was cause my skin to breakout. I've been using it 3 times a week and each night I use it, the next morning I'd wake up with at least 3 massive blind red sore pimples. And also some tiny whitehead pimples. And I rarely get pimples otherwise. I did hope that it was just some 'purging' and it would stop after some time but still to this day I am still breaking out and am now using this serum twice per week to see if that helps but it hasn't. I want to try and give it some more time hoping that it's just bringing out all of the gunk in my skin but I don't have high hopes as I've been using this for about a month or so. Other than that, I would say that it's got more of a lotion texture and consistency than a serum. It's white and rather thick for a serum but glides on well and absorbs without leaves my skin feeling greasy. And it has no smell which is good. I didn't experience any tingling sensations while using this product. And I didn't experience any dryness or flaking. I was really hoping to love this serum and I'm so sorry that I've only give it 1 star but I haven't noticed anything else happening to my skin other than it breaking out so badly.

I can see how this product may be great for some. Its description is great and I’m sure after long term use it would make a great change. For me personally I have very acne prone skin and it is triggered by the slightest of changes. Unfortunately this product causes me to break out and caused some texture. In saying that, I then gave the product to my friend who loved it. She said she noticed the biggest difference in her skin. Even I could notice her glow! So all in all I think it depends on the person

This peel serum helped my textured skin!! I put on twice or three times a week as instructed on the bottle. I had not tried any peel or exfoliator like this before. The serum itself was milky, gentle and creamy but not thick feeling. The only offside is that it did sting a little if you have any pimple wound on your face, but otherwise it's gentle and does its job very well. I have been using this serum for 3 weeks now and my face feels the smoothest it's ever been. I also like this because while it exfoliates, it doesn't dry out your face and provides the moisture you need at the same time! I only use this serum and my daily moisturiser and the next morning my face would still be pumped. I would highly recommend it if you want to clear your texture, but maybe not for people who has serious acne prone skin because it stung me when I picked my pimple or skin.

I have a lot of hyperpigmentation in my skin, after using so many different products and was thinking about trying a peel. I didn’t want to use a salon peel because I was a bit too scared. Rodan + Fields Multi-Acid Enzyme Peel Is amazing, I’ve been using this for awhile now and my hyperpigmentation is slowly going away, I also had some spots on my face and and this seems to clear many of those as well. I didn’t notice a big change until my sister asked me what I was doing as my skin has cleared up a lot. So I highly recommend this and asked my sister to start using it as well. The R+F Multi-Acid Enzyme Peel is an exfoliant that contains ingredients like glycolic, salicylic and lactic acid in addition to bakuchiol and niacinamide. Learning more about the product I found out that it helps with decreasing dark spots and evening out the skin tone. While my skin has good days and bad days, I always like using chemical exfoliants not only because it helps with decreasing pigmentation but it's also great for improving the texture of your skin, reducing acne and leaving your skin looking bright and healthy. It's a very light lotion that you apply on your face and then leave on overnight. I would use this three times a week just to prevent any potential irritation to my skin. I have been using it for several weeks now and overall I have noticed some wonderful improvements. My skin is looking more even. I had some post acne marks on my cheeks and chin that have faded. My skin feels smoother and it looks much brighter.
