Super thick in consistency
This base & top coat is really thick in consistency and that is important because it is super good for a base coat as it really covers the nails easily and protects from the colour, but as a top coat, I wouldn't use it again.
Too thick to be easily applied on top of nail colour, I often ruined my manicure by applying the top coat too soon.
The applicator was too wide for my taste.
I also wasn't able to finish the product, because it was so thick and it just didn´t flow out.

I've used this numerous times as either a base coat, top coat, or for both purposes.
The formula goes on smoothly and evenly as a base coat & my colour polish of choice adheres well to the nail after.
I find it works best as a top coat if I let my nails almost dry before applying it. It does help reduce chipping and extend the wear time for my polished nails.
Like all other Sally Hansen products I've tried, this dual-use product is affordable, always reliable, effective & helps my polish last the distance. Recommended.

Generally I will always have one of these on the go. I really like the fact it make my nails feel stronger.
My only issue is the fact it never stays clear in colour for long and can get sticky around the bottle rim.
