Samson & Charlie Hydrating Watermelon B3 + B5 Serum

This serum was amazing. It absorbed really well. I was originally expecting a tacky residue on my skin after applying but it absorbed and left a smooth almost matte (but still hydrating) texture on my face. It is rather light weight it sat well under my makeup. The fragrance was almost not there. Once absorbed it was completely gone. With regards to the benefits of the lactic acid I believe I needed more time to trial the product to see its affects. Overall, I did notice an almost immediate glow.

Wow! The colour of this product is what drew me in, not to mention anytime I read watermelon in products I get excited. Unfortunately, the smell did not resemble my favourite fruit but there were many pros in using it. Firstly, I loved how hydrating it felt and better yet it absorbed into the skin super quickly. This was something I found to be really helpful and made me want to continue using it. I have dry, sensitive & acne-prone skin and this product did not irritate me. While I didn’t see a reduction in my pore size as it indicates I did find it to liven up any dullness I was experiencing which after many early mornings I definitely needed! Overall if you’re on the look for something that’s hydrating and brightening I think this could be a great addition to your routine. It has many beneficial ingredients that you’ll also be impressed by.

This serum does exactly as promised, hydrate! I have been using daily for the past 10 days under my moisturiser and SPF and have found that my skin feels and looks more dewy, hydrated and fresh all day long. I have dry and sensitive skin so I tend to be a little cautious about switching up serums, but I found that this has been well received! The only downside that I have found with this is that it can be a little sticky after application, but when I apply my moisturiser afterwards this is all sealed in. I would recommend this product for anyone who needs a good daily moisture boost, as it is a perfect under-makeup serum and a perfect pre-bedtime top up!

This is a really nice little serum. It has a light watermelon scent, so possibly a positive if you are sensitive to strong fragrances, prefer a lighter fragrance, or don't really like fragranced products or a watermelon scent. If you like a strong scent, especially a strong watermelon scent, you may be a bit disappointed with the strength of the fragrance in this product. This is a nice way to have vitamin B3 and B5 added to your skin care regime as one product that is also hydrating. My skin really liked this one and seemed a bit more glowy than before I started using it. Vitamin B3 is also niacinamide and has some anti-aging qualities. If you are looking for a nice hydrating serum with vitamin B3 and vitamin B5, I would certainly recommend this one to try.

I absolutely adore this serum and was very excited to give it a try. The watermelon scent is divine and not overpowering which is what you want in a face serum. You only need a few drops which is easy with the drop applicator and it can be spread across your whole face (I can see the bottle while small, lasting quite a while). My skin felt great after using, not greasy and not over hydrated and it felt even better the next day. My skin feels so soft and smooth, I will continue using this as part of my daily routine.

I have been using this serum for more than 3 weeks now. It goes onto my face nicely and not feeling too thick. It's good hydrating serum during Summer. I usually put on this serum at night and my skin feels hydrated the next day. Given the product is cruelty free and natural, I think it gives an extra points to the product. The only thing is that the watermelon smell is a bit too strong for me, but if you love watermelon, it would be perfect hydrating serum for you! I highly recommend this product!!

I was so excited to try this product. I love the idea of morning hydrating serum ! I have an oily t zone and don’t typically like wearing a moisturiser under makeup and used this instead. It has a pleasant light weight feel and the product dries quickly onto the skin. It absorbed very well. I felt it sat well under makeup. I thought it was going to smell like watermelon! But I couldn’t smell any fragrance. Whilst I felt that my skin felt hydrated, I also like that the product had lactic acid in it for the glow. A good all rounder and great price point too!
