Rosehip oil is an absolute godsend! Since starting to use this every night in my skin care routine I have found my skin has improved and my skin tone/texture evened out so beautifully that I don’t need to wear foundation on my ageing, combination skin. The best part is that it is 100% organic and derived from completely natural ingredients. I saw results within a month that included fading acne scarring, reduction of fine lines and the fading of hyper pigmentation. Use this straight after cleansing your face and before putting on your moisturiser at night time - or even pit a drop in with your foundation for a healthy glow. I am confident that you, too will love this product!
This is a great oil that mixes well with night time moisturisers to add a boost of nutrients and skin compatible ingredients that helps plump, repair and protect skin. The price point is great and the product is of great quality. The oil does leave my skin looking greasy, so I suggest only using it at night.
Rosehip oil is a great anti-aging facial oil. It contains trans-retinoic acid, antioxidants, linoleic acid, linolenic acid. It is a relatively 'dry' oil that absorbs quickly and is not greasy. I have combination skin and have no problems applying this at night. You only need a few drops for your entire face. It's one of those products that takes time to work but it will improve skin health and texture, and has a slight brightening effect.
There are many skin care brands that produce 100% rosehip oil products. Sukin's version is cold-pressed, organic, orangey in colour and has a slight smell (which is normal). I'm giving it 4 stars out of 5 as Sukin's version has min 70% fatty acids, whereas there are other brands that have min 80% (but are more expensive).
Rosehip oils tends to go rancid quite quickly, try to use up your bottle within 6 months and store in a cool, dark place.
I swap between 3 oils and serums during my night time regime. This Simon Rose hip oil, The Ordinary Hyaluronic acid as well as the Marula oil variant.
Sukin as a brand is outstanding. It’s certified organic, cruelty free and very cost effective. Their products work!
This particular oil is delicately fragranced, disperses easily and instantly hydrates and soothes the skin. Rose hip oil is renowned for its anti ageing and skin renewing benefits. I can attest to these.
The morning after application my skin is fresh looking, plump, radiant.
I’ve been using this particular oil for over 2 months and can’t see my regime without it.
Pros: it works
: the short term and long term benefits are evident.
: organic and cruelty free as a brand and product
: such great value for money
Cons: none
I’ll be purchasing this once I run out without hesitation.
I love the smell of this oil and the smooth, lovely texture. I use it when I’m feeling dry in the cooler months as added moisture on top of my moisturiser. I’ve heard it can be good for acne scarring, however I haven’t seen an improvement in this area yet. However, it’s super affordable and it’s nice to try something natural once in a while.
The Sukin rose hip oil is super affordable for daily use and I use it morning and night during winter to protect my skin from dryness. I get dry patched on my neck, elbows and kneecaps so apply the oil on the dry spots overnight. I can see immediate results the next morning where the dry patches disappeared.
The Sukin Certified Organic Rose Hip Oil is a brilliant product for its affordable price!
I have tried a number of rose hip oils in the past couple of years and Sukin has outperformed a few others that are higher priced.
The Sukin Certified Organic Rose Hip Oil has a light golden yellow colour. I think that the general understanding is that the deeper the colour of a rose hip oil, the more nutrients it has. However, even though Sukin’s rose hip oil does not have a deep colour compared to its counterparts from other brands, I found it exceptionally nourishing and moisturising. It soothes my dry skin in a matter of a few applications.
I apply Sukin Rose Hip Oil after applying my usual serum. The oil seals in the goodness of the serum, and it provides an additional layer of nourishment. I use 3-4 drops for my entire face and neck, and that’s plenty. This oil has a lovely woody and earthy smell to it which is not overpowering. I also like that it does not have a very greasy feeling. It only takes a few minutes for it to absorb properly. I like to use it under my makeup, as it adds a subtle glow and dewiness. I have been using it for a couple of months now and I am very happy with my soft, supple and radiant skin. I am genuinely surprised by how this product is available at such a low price.
Sukin’s Rose Hip Oil uses the cold pressed extraction method. I did my research and found that the best way to extract rose hip oil from raw ingredients is the supercritical (carbon dioxide) extraction method, which minimises the amount of oxidation in the extraction process.I asked Sukin why they have chosen to use cold press which is not the best available method for extraction. To my surprise, Sukin actually answered my question, explaining that they have to keep the cost low so that they can make the product available at an affordable price. I love how honest, genuine and engaging this brand is, and I will continue to support this brand by exploring its other products.
Sukin's rose hip oil is one of my must have products. I love that this rose hip oil is 100% certified organic and cruelty free. It comes in renewable packaging and the little bottle Is really cute and reusable. The oil smells amazing for starters, and feels really nice on the skin and sinks in well. I've found that its perfect for use all over the body, it has especially helped fade stretch marks on my body, and of course soothe and moisturise dry skin on my face as well as helping my complexion. This product is fantastic value for money, and I recommend this to everyone as it is definitely a 5 star product with many different uses and applications.
LOVE LOVE LOVE! This has been a great product that I use every morning and night. It makes my skin feel amazing. I originally started to use this because I had a bright red scar on my face from a burn. Within 8 weeks the scar's redness had diminished and now after a few months of use the scar has completely disappeared. This is a must have!!!
Such a great product, at a great price. I actually tried quite a few different brands of rose hip oil at different price points, and this is the brand I've stuck with. Great value, good quality packaging, and really works!
I have dry, sensitive skin, and a lot of cream moisturisers irritate my skin. I use this now after my cleanser, toner and exfoliator, gently patting about 4 - 5 drops into my face. Sinks in quite quickly, and it has hydrated my skin and it looks more healthy / dewy.
sukin rose hip oil is my go to rose hip oil, i really love the brand and what they stand for, the packaging with the dropper is really helpful to avoid overuse, i really love including rose hip oil in my skin care routine as it makes my skin feel amazing and has so many benefits. I also like to put it in the ends of my hair
I love Sukin products for their affordability and even better they don't use harsh chemical products in their products, are carbon neutral and against animal cruelty. I use a number of their products currently.
The rosehip oil comes in a dark bottle with a dropper applicator which makes for easy controlled dispensing of the oil. A little goes a long way. I only need about 2-3 drops per application which I apply over my face with finger tips in circular motions. The oil goes on very easily and too my surprise is not at all oily. It sinks very well into skin, like it's almost drinking it up.
The only bad thing about this product is I'm not a fan of the smell. It's like a mild cod liver/fish oil smell. I'd like to try another one to see if it's not characteristic of other brands as well. I find that I can overcome this by applying my moisturiser afterwards which helps to mask the smell
The beauty of rosehip oil is that it is so versatile and great for just about every skin type. Ever since I came across it, I have made sure to always have it in the house because its usefulness doesn't end. I've gotten my whole family into it as well. The reason I went with the Sukin rosehip oil was for several reasons. I wanted to choose a brand that stood in line with what I believed in. hey are Australian, they are all plant based and do not use any animal based products. They are cruelty free and use only the best ingredients. In this case their product is organic so I feel even better about using it. Our skin absorbs everything we put on it so the less chemicals in the products the better for not only our skin but our body. The product comes in a dropper and the oil is an orange colour. Now you can use this in many ways but I mostly use it at night to hydrate my face, lighten the pigmentation that has been left behind from acne, reduce the redness on my cheeks, even out my skin tone and I like to use it as an eye cream. It doesn't cause any reactions or sensitivity to my face so I use it just about everywhere. I only use two drops for my whole face and I gently press the oil into my skin and then rub it around. The less oil the better that way it can absorb a lot faster. It doesn't leave a greasy film behind and my skin always feel so great after putting it on. I find that it softens the laugh lines I have around my mouth, my skin isn't as red and inflamed and the pigmentation has definitely lightened. I have even used rosehip oil on my body as I've had scars on my legs that haven't healed properly and have managed to never go away. I place a drop on them everyday and rub it in. It's a gradual process but it's softened the scars and hoping overtime they will start to become less noticeable. Sometimes I place a couple of drops of the oil on my washcloth with my cleanser and it does a fantastic job of removing my makeup while hydrating my skin at the same time. You could even put a bit on your makeup wipes too! Go ahead and use it on your neck and décolletage as well as they need just as much hydration as our face and are susceptible to wrinkles!
Tip: During the winter, mix a drop or two of the rosehip oil with your foundation for extra hydration and for a dewy makeup look
This product is definately for those who are after nourishment, repairing and hydrating. It also helps to protect the skin, although it can cause photo sensitivity which means you can burn your skin in the sun so it's best to avoid sunlight when using this product. I would use this 1-2 times a week just to massage my face with this product, give myself a llittlw pamper session to detoxify and release tension in my skin/face. Suitable for those with dry skin and normal skin. Oily skin people must becareful as this is a rich oil so therefore it can be a bit greasy on the skin. The scent wise is not too strong which i like, it smells like roses which enhances the product's features. Rosehip helps to heal the skin, such as aging (wrinkles & finelines), sagging, dryness, firmness, plumpness, moisture, scars and acne scarring or even uneven skin tones. After using this product i noticed my skin was more firmer, nourished & had a healthy radiqnt complexion rather than having dull skin. Using this product to massage my face muscles made me feel relaxed & calm.
I had heard a lot about rose hip oil and its benefits so I bought this one to try. I really love it, its not oily and greasy on skin like I thought it would be, it sunk into my skin well and was great for fine lines and wrinkles, I use it at night to help reguvenise and have noticed a difference, you dont need a lot so its economical, and a great price to start with. This is a great moisturiser in the form of an oil and easy to use, I will buy this again
I used this product for acne scarring and to reduce my dry patches on my skin. I find this one is less oily than the Sukin one, so I prefer to sleep with this one on. It has noticeable reduced the scars on my face and back too. I also drop one droplet of the oil into my hands and apply to the ends of my hair to reduce split ends and also the tiniest amount on the top to reduce flyways. This Product is super affordable and definitely works.
Rose hip oil is used to hydrate and help prevent fine lines and wrinkles. The main benefit of Sukin oil, as well as being a high quality oil at a fair price, is that the company is organic and carbon neutral. I use this oil of an evening. When applying my nighttime moisturiser (at the moment I'm using The Body Shop Vitamin E Night Cream) I mix this in with the cream and apply to my forehead, massaging it right in. I also massage it right in-between my brows to help hydrate and prevent frown lines. I'll definitely repurchase this oil.
This rose hip oil is my personal favourite. Firstly, the packaging is really convenient. The dropper is hygienic and allows you to ensure that you don't overuse the product. The product itself isn't too greasy, and a little goes a long way. With consistent use over time I found that this product truly did have an effect on my skin. It reduced the appearance of acne scars on my skin whilst also leaving it noticeably more hydrated and glowy. I would definitely recommend this product.
I've been using RHO for years as a nourishing, basic solution for my dry skin. This is my new favourite. It's a great price and a high quality version. It leaves my skin smooth, hydrated and very happy!
One of my go to rosehip oils. Great quality, great price, what more could you want?
No additional nasties in the product list means my sensitive dry skin absorbs it like it should, leaving soft subtle skin. I've been using it for about a year now, and I'll never go without it now.
If you're worried about any sort of skin issues, give rosehip oil a go, it's amazing what it treats!
