I’ve got the skin of a healthy 55 year old - that is, I’m prone to dryness, wrinkles (which I’m actually proud of and happy to have), and the odd hormonal (hello menopause) breakout. Cream cleansers with natural, gentle ingredients are a must. There is so much that I like about Sukin. It’s super inexpensive (and often even half price). It’s all natural and cruelty free, Australian made, ecologically sound (recycled and recyclable bottles) and full of beautiful ingredients. The cream cleanser is a no-nonsense, everyday cleanser that gets makeup off really beautifully, rinses cleanly, and leaves the skin feeling so soft that moisturiser afterwards is optional. The scent is a strong but not cloying, and is no doubt enhanced by the tangerine, lavender and vanilla, which is probably the best way to describe the scent. It also contains Rosehip, Avocado, Sesame and Wheat Germ and lots more - all of which would probably justify a higher price tag, but Sukin remains incredibly affordable, and therefore it’s available to everyone, which I not only appreciate for myself, but feel it makes the product more ethical generally. You can get it in a cap or pump, but I find that the pump makes for a very easy one-handed application which I really appreciate when I’m trying to get ready for bed in the evening, and the whole bottle stays clean and fits neatly in my bathroom drawer. I also like, once a week, to mix this with a little sugar or oatmeal for a bit of an exfoliation and then wash of as usual. There’s nothing I can say against this brand - it’s fabulous.
The Sukin Cream Cleanser is formulated with a mix of avocado, sesame and wheatgerm oils to nourish and hydrate the skin, while aloe vera, cocoa butter, nettle and horsetail have been included for their soothing benefits.
The cleanser comes in a 125 ml plastic bottle with pump-top dispenser. It has a lightweight creamy consistency. The cleanser has a natural, creamy fruity scent, it's hard to explain, but is really nice and pleasant.
I use this cleanser either on its own or after oil cleansing if I have worn makeup. This cream cleanser is quite light for a cream so doesn't feel heavy when massaging into the skin. One to two pumps is all I need for the face and neck.
I use a face cloth to remove, which is an easy task. I appreciate that after wiping off, my face is not left tight and dry but soft and smooth.
To me the Sukin Cream Cleanser is now one of my favourite cream cleansers. So, it probably goes without saying that this cream cleanser is a win for me!
I recently left my usual cleanser at home while on holidays and was stuck with not many options for a cleanser so I chose this cleansing cream. I absolutely loved it. I have combination skin and spent the week in the sun, coated in sun cream. This cleanser left my skin feeling soft, clean and lovely. Easy application, apply to damp face, massage and rinse. The smell is DIVINE!! I was worried about a cream being too much for my skin but it was lovely and hydrating without feeling heavy or leaving a weird residue. Great quality and great price. The only issue I had with it was I used non tubular mascara (I hardly ever wear it) and it struggled to remove it. I don’t really use make-up remover because my current face cleanser removes everything. Only reason I am giving it a 4.
Nice, gentle cream for sensitive skin.
I have dry, dehydrated, and sensitive skin which is why I first picked up Sukin.
This cream cleanser is quite gentle, I have tried to use it to remove makeup but it was not very effective. It removed part of my foundation, at most.
As a cleanser, it gently removes all the days impurities without stripping my skin. After using it, my skin feels fresh, clean, and lightly moisturised.
My skin looks even and clear, and the cleanser doesn't break me out.
I like that the Sukin products are natural and not full of toxic chemicals. Unfortunately I did not find this cleanser to be overly beneficial for my skin (dry, acne prone). It was gentle and did not strip my skin, but I did not see any benefits from using it. It has a lovely scent and I feel that it would be beneficial for people who do not have problem skin.
I have used many mid end foam cleansers and have decided to try our something more affordable cleansers. I have dry skin so have bought the Sukin cream cleanser to try out as recommended by many friends. Firstly, I love the natural scent which makes me feel very enjoyable to use. I love the creamy texture which does not leave my skin feeling dry after double cleanse. My skin feels so clean, fresh and smooth after use which I can't ask for more.
As suggested by skincare savior Caroline Hirons, I was looking for a morning cleanser that wasn't excessively foamy yet still effective enough to clean my skin from the night before and give me a fresh base for my makeup, which this product succeeds in doing at a low cost!
This cream cleanser by Sukin is suitable for all skin types.
The cleanser smells very natural and botanical. It has a lovely scent.
The texture is really creamy. It's incredibly gentle against my skin, it doesn't strip my skin of all of my natural oils and after I cleanse, my skin feels really comfortable and good.
It also takes off what remains of my day's makeup so you don't need to use a makeup remover with this.
I use this in the shower so I just do a small squeeze to cover my whole face and then rinse it off.
It's super easy to use!
It's one of my favourite cream cleansers. I love the hygienic pump packaging: one squirt is enough for my whole face and neck.
The gorgeous scent reminds me of posh organic spa products. Every time I'm doing my night time cleansing using this I feel very relaxed and pampered.
After trials and errors, I find the best way of applying it (most effective way of cleaning all my makeup, waterproof mascara included) is by applying the cream in circular motion on my dry face, use dry cotton pads to remove the cream (& makeup residue), then put warm water on the clean side of cotton pads and wipe the residue on face, followed by splashing warm water on my face.
Some days I use the gel cleanser afterwards, but most days I find it works by itself.
This is another fine product from Sukin. It's a gentle and effective cleanser which leaves my skin feeling clean and soft. It is a creamy cream cleanser which feels smooth and cool on my skin. It is incredibly gentle yet it removes almost all of my makeup. It does not irritate or dry out my skin. Sukin is an affordable Australian brand who make products which are chemical free and paraben free. This cream cleanser has the typical scent which a lot of Sukin products seem to have, it's slight vanilla, musk and orange, it is pleasant and not strong scented. I use this cleanser daily and it keeps my face feeling soft and looking natural and clean. My skin looks healthier and feels refreshed and smooth after use.
Pros: -low priced, natural ingredients, Australia brand, smells mild and pleasant
Cons: -none, it works well!
Tips: -I've noticed a small amount is enough for me, so try a little amount and gently massage into your skin and see how much you need
-use this cream cleanser on your face, neck, décolletage and on the back of your neck too, as that's an often neglected area in cleansing
-I suggest using a separate eye makeup remover for removing eye makeup as this cleanser does not fully remove eye makeup
Recommendation: -this natural cream cleanser is well suited for men and women to effectively cleanse without causing any irritation to the skin
I have always used a foaming facial cleanser in the past and wanted to try out a cream cleanser. I picked Sukin's Cream Cleanser because they are an Australian natural skincare brand and I have used their products in the past and found them to be great quality at an affordable price.
First impressions, the cream cleanser comes in a handy 125ml pump bottle that is easy to dispense. The cleanser has a creamy and lighter consistency that makes it easy to apply to your skin. It contains essential oils so has a lovely delicate fresh scent like springtime that I loved.
I was very impressed with this cleanser, It is a very gentle and mild cleanser that is very effective at cleansing your skin without stripping your face of it's protective oils. I found it very hydrating and didn't dry out my skin like other cleansers can. It contains rose hip oil and avocado oil which I really liked because I found it helped my skin stay more moisturised. It is easy to rinse off and you can even use a face cloth to remove the cleasner. My skin feels really soft and wonderful afterwards and I only need to use a light moisturiser after cleansing to keep my face hydrated all day.
I recommended this cleanser to my mum who has sensitive skin and she really liked it as well. It didn't irritant her skin and she found it more gentle and hydrating than her current cleanser and very soothing.
My tip is to remove your heavy make-up, like mascara prior to using this cleanser as it takes a few washes for the heavy make-up to be washed off.
I'm now a fan of cream cleansers and would choose this over a foaming cleanser (as they can be too harsh and stripping) and will continue to use it in the future. This cleanser is suitable for anyone with sensitive or normal skin who wants a more hydrating and gentle clean.
This product is proof that you need not spend a lot of money to get quality. I absolutely love this cleanser which is perfect for my mature skin. Smelling of orange, vanilla and lavender, I actually have people commenting on how lovely I smell when they hug me, even though I am often not wearing perfume. The lingering smell is refreshing and uplifting. In the mornings I use in the shower and massage my face with it for about two minutes, inhaling the oils in as I do so. I found this on special last month and purchased three bottles. Oh - and on top of all that - it removes ALL makeup, even 24 hour mascara!
A good quality cleanser is one of the skincare items that I need in my skincare routine. I really like using cream cleanser because although my skin is normal, sometimes I feel like it can get a little on the dry side. I feel like when my skin is getting a bit dry that cream cleansers are the way to go because they are really good for cleansing my face but also keeping my skin hydrated at the same time.
When I saw that Sukin had a cream cleanser, I was super excited to try it because in the past I have used the Sukin foaming cleaner which I really liked, and Sukin is a natural skincare brand.
The Sukin cream cleanser comes with pump, to make using the cleanser quick and no fuss at all. The cream cleanser itself is normal consistency and it feels very cream, soft and nourishing when you apply it to your face.
One of the best things about this cleanser is the scent. It has a kind citrusy herbal scent to it. When applied, this cleanser is very gentle and creamy on the skin. It is easy to massage into your face and rinse easily. After rinsing this cleanser off, my face feelssoft, smooth and hydrated. Whenever I use this cleanser the smell makes me feelmore awake and energised.
The only negative with this cleanser is that it won’t remove all of your makeup, especially eye makeup (like mascara, eyelineretc.), so you will need to use makeup remover or a wipe for that. I have deducted one star for this reason.
The Sukin cream cleanser costs $10, whichI think is really value for money for a natural skincare cream cleaner. This cleanser performs as good as some of my more expensive cleansers. Sukin is also Australian owned and doesn’t test on animals so that’s another big tick of approval for me.
Personally, I would recommend this cleanser to those who prefer cream cleansers and have normal or dry skin as it is so soft and gentle on the skin, bearing in mind that it wont remove all of your eye makeup.
Pros:
- suitable for normally to dry skin
- gentle and wont strip your skin of moisture
- smells delicious
- leaves your skin feeling refreshed and hydrated.
- very affordably priced for a natural skincare cleanser.
Cons:
- this cleanser wont remove all of your eye makeup, or if you apply a heavy duty foundation you may find that it won’t remove all of that.
- if you have oily skin, you may not feel like this cleanser leaves your skin feeling fresh enough.
