Sukin Naturals Micellar Cleansing Water is great make up remover. I use this on a cotton pad to remove my makeup inc foundation, lipstick and mascara. I only have to use this twice to get rid of all my make up. With other Micellar makeup removers I have to use it multiple times to get rid of all my make up. This removes make up really quickly without drying my face. After removing my make up my face feels super soft and hydrated. If you wear make up on a daily basis like me this don’t be afraid to give this Sukin Naturals Micellar Cleansing Water a go.
Effectively cleans makeup off gently
Love this. It does a great job of removing makeup, it’s infused with chamomile, aloe Vera and cucumber which is so soothing on my skin and helps stop any redness. It’s super easy to use, I just add some to a cotton ball or cotton pad and it easily removes all traces of makeup, even mascara and dirt and grime from the day. It doesn’t dry my skin out, though I do follow up with a good moisturiser. It comes in a brown bottle with flip top lid which is handy as it means no spillage and it’s super economical. I will be buying the Sukin naturals cleansing micellar water again and would definitely recommend it
Not a fan
I am not a fan of the Sukin micellar water.
It does not do a good job of removing product from my face, infact it takes multiple wipes just to get a thin layer of foundation off.
It also leaves my skin feeling sticky - this is the only micellar water I've used that I feel the need to wash my face after.
The worst part is that it burns my eyes. I'm assuming maybe from the Aloe Vera that it's infused with.
I do not recommend this product.
I will definitely not purchase again, and will go back to using the garnier micellar water
Takes off makeup easily
This product makes you realise that you don't need to spend a lot of money to get good quality micellar water that will remove your makeup with minimal effort. The Sukin micellar water is all natural and great for cutting through your markup, including mascara, without leaving any residue behind. I just pour a bit of the micellar water onto a cotton ball and use it all over my face. It's normally the first step when it comes to removing my makeup. It does an amazing job of removing everything without causing any irritation to my face or eyes. It's gentle and my skin feels so soft and hydrated. I follow it up with a cleanser but you can just use the micellar water on its own.
I've never had much luck with micellar waters in the past. For some reason, they always seem to irritate my skin even though they claim to be the "gentle" way of removing makeup and build up. So when I received a full size bottle of this in a Priceline goody bag,it took me a while to actually try it even though I love Sukin as a brand.
The Sukin micellar water comes packaged in a sturdy dark bottle with a pop top lid. The scent is a mild vanilla like scent and is similar to many other Sukin products I have used in the past. The ingredients list contains chamomile and cucumber which I love,as both of those are great for sensitive skin and soothing inflammation and redness.
To use,I simply apply a generous amount of the clear water to a cotton round and then wipe all over my face. I do this a couple of times until I can no longer see any traces of makeup or impurity on my white cotton pads. I was amazed with how gentle this micellar water is. No dryness or irritation at ALL!!! My skin just felt cleansed, refreshed and slightly toned. The micellar water really is incredibly gentle. It takes away all the days makeup and build up and leaves skin soft and soothed and ready for serums and moisturiser.
Perfect micellar water for sensitive skin!
I really love Sukin products and do buy their products however I think I may have picked up the Micellar Water in a Priceline goody bag. It is packaged in a dark amber bottle with a flip top lid.
I am a regular user of micellar water and have tried a number of different brands. I found this one to be effective enough, however I do usually follow up with a second cleanse as I find that cleaning with micellar water doesn't leave me with that clean fresh feeling that traditional face cleansing does. It doesn't leave any discernible residue on my skin. The reason why I wouldn't purchase this is because of the fragrance. It is supposed to be vanilla but to me this smells like milk and it's just not enjoyable to use for this reason.
Having used a cleanser for most of my life I decided to try micellar water and having previously used Sukin body and hair care successfully I thought I’d give Sukin Micellar Cleansing Water a try. Initially it would sting a little as I have an extremely sensitive skin that’s also prone to breakouts hence I would still incorporate a gel cleanser into my routine. Then I’ve decided to use micellar water only for my cleansing - the result exceeded all expectations. After only a week of consistent use my skin is soft, supple, with reduced redness, it no longer stings and it seems to have reduced my breakouts! I’m very impressed as I’ve used everything under the sun on my skin with much less success. It seems to me that micellar water removes makeup and dirt of the face better then other types of cleanser and it does not destroy my skin’s natural protective barrier. I usually follow with serum or two and a moisturiser along with primer and foundation during the day and a serum and a moisturiser at night.
I love Micellar Waters and have tried various different brands and I have to say that the Sukin Micellar Cleansing Water is a favorite. It's ingredients include aloe vera, chamomile, and cucumber, which lets you know that its product is going to be calming on the skin. I find that to make it even more so, it's a great idea during the Summer months to keep it in the fridge. Perfect for a hot Summer's day, as micellar water is very refreshing on the skin straight from the fridge.
There is a vanilla scent to the product and oddly I find it reminds me of the scent of playdoh. That for me is a happy scent, because it's a scent I love from my childhood.
I did find that even though there is a claim that it can remove waterproof eye makeup it wasn't so great on my waterproof mascara but perhaps that is just praise for how brilliant my waterproof mascara is. I really wasn't upset by this. I'm happy to test and see if it actually will remove makeup, but it's not what I use micellar water for. I tend to treat it a bit more like a toner and a refresher for my skin before I apply my serum.
Value wise I find that a 250ml bottle will last me 2 to 3 months depending on my use of course. I find that it's a great value and this is a product that I will continue to purchase
Nice and natural micellar water - I bought this as a cheap backup when I was away from home and didn't have my usual with me. Really good price for how much you get and the bottle lid clicks in to make it secure. Does the job and was good to my sensitive skin.
When I was up for another micellar water I decided to try a more budget-friendly brand, and Sukin micellar water was half the price of my usual product. It stung a little around my more sensitive dry areas at first, but my skin seemed to adjust quickly and has had no ill effects since. It is very effective as a first make-up remover. I use one side of a soaked pad for one side of my face - then flip it over and clean the other side. I follow with a second cleanse using a gel or foam cleanser as usual, but if pressed for time this micellar water can do the job alone.
It has a mild, hard-to-place scent that I find quite pleasant, perhaps a combination of aloe and cucumber. Better still it is completely natural and cruelty-free which is a real bonus for me. Micellar water is a frequent use product, so I need an affordable option that is also effective. Glad Sukin ticks both boxes.
I love the smell of this product, and it goes on nice and easy. That said, it did take a sec for my skin to get used to the product: there was some tingling the first time I used it, but that's gone away now, and did after only one or two uses. I particularly love to use this as my first step in a double cleanse, then followed by a foaming cleanser, which gets all the makeup off my face no matter how much I'm wearing. It's also great for days when I'm feeling lazy and can't be bothered to properly wash my face, as it doesn't dry me out too much either.
I usually clean my face thoroughly the use micellar water to clean any impurities left on my skin. This micellar water does help to remove any excess makeup or impurities on my face. However, the water does irritate my eyes a bit, although it doesn’t bother me too much. The micellar water has slight scent with I enjoy.
As a Sukin fan I was initially under the impression that most of their products would be fine for my face as I had never had issues before. My first mistake was neglecting to check the ingredients list of this product which contains Alcohol Denat at the bottom of the list. While I can sometimes tolerate a little bit of Alcohol in a product my skin did not like this cleansing water at all. Initially there were no obvious issues but as I got through the bottle I noticed my skin was starting to feel more dry and require a lot more moisturiser etc to feel normal. The worst part was when I tried to use this to remove eyeshadow of my eye lids and this product made my eyes sting very badly.

I was on the lookout for a good micellar cleansing water and had tried other mainstream brands. What attracted me to trying Sukin’s version was because their products are chemical and paraben free. I’m always up for products that are natural and kinder to our environment.
Since trying it, I have now used it daily for over a year. It’s become part of my daily cleansing routine. I squirt 2-3 squirts onto a good quality make up remover cotton pad. It is light, not heavily scented and I find that it removes my make up quickly and cleanly. My foundation comes off smoothly. It does not remove all my eye make up with one swipe, I do have to go over it a second time.
I have found that it stings my eyes if I get some of the product into my eyes (usually happens if I soak my cotton make up remover pad too much).
After using the product, my skin feels clean but not dry or irritated. It feels healthy and smooth. I follow up with a thorough clean. I have been very happy with this product!
I've tried a number of micellar waters and always struggled to find one that removes my makeup and feels right for my skin at the same time! I love a lot of the Sukin products, especially because they are paraben and sulphate free, and really gentle on skin - so I had high hopes for the Sukin Micellar Cleansing Water, and I wasn't disappointed. This product is so easy to use and a small amount takes everything off, leaving my skin feeling soft and refreshed afterwards! Very gentle and perfect for sensitive skin - would definitely recommend using this product!
Solid staple for the beauty cupboard!
As I have said in other reviews, I adore Sukin. I love that they affordable and keep a focus on good quality ingredients. I also love that they are Aussie owned and made - it makes me so happy to support an Australian brand.
The micellar water itself is a slightly 'drier' formula (if that makes an sense). It dries very quickly on the skin. It is lightly fragranced with a herbal scent, which I enjoy - I love herbal/botanical infusions in skincare. To use it - dampen a cotton pad with the micellar water until it is saturated but not dripping. I then use one side of the pad per side of my face. This micellar water is a power house - it takes off my sunscreen, foundation, concealer, powder, blush, bronzer, eyebrow pomade, brow gel and eyeshadow! That is seriously impressive considering it is so gentle and weightless on the skin. The only thing it can't get off is my waterproof mascara, which does not surprise me as the only thing I've found that removes it is an oil cleanser. I find that I only need to swipe once in the area to remove all the product, so I'm not unnecessarily and harshly scrubbing my skin.
After using the micellar water my skin feels happy. It doesn't feel sensitive or sore (I have quite dry and sensitive skin), and my skin tone is even. My face isn't dried out. It is just plain happy! I usually rinse my face after using it, merely out of habit, although I think you could skip the rinse and be just fine. On camping trips I have skipped rinsing and experienced no negative impact on my skin. haven't gotten any breakouts from this micellar water, so it is truly perfect for acne-prone and sensitive skin.
The other way I use it is gently rubbed onto my skin in the morning as my cleanser. I also use it during summer to wipe down my neck and chest to refresh. It is perfect for this use because it doesn't dry sticky, and it really cools me down.
I like the packaging as well - it is simple with consistent branding from Sukin. The pop-top allows you to easily control how much water is dispensed, and you don't run the risk of accidentally dumping it all over your floor when using it.
This micellear water is fantastic. It is great at removing all makeup, even waterproof mascara! It is really gentle but effective, as it does the job without irritating my skin.
My face feels clean enough to skip fully cleansing, but it doesn't feel stripped of oils like some micellear water make your skin feel.
I still prefer the garnier one, but this one comes in at a close second! Plus, it smells amazing!
Sukin's Micellar Cleansing Water is a great product for effectively removing all traces of makeup without leaving my skin feeling tight like an ordinary cleanser can sometimes do. This cleansing water infused with moisturising ingredients including chamomile, aloe vera and cucumber for a thorough, yet soothing clean.
I have used other brands of micellar water before and I have found with most that I need to moisturise afterwards to feel like my skin is feeling soft and comfortable, but with Sukin's cleansing water, my skin feels very moisturised after use. The product has a lovely vanilla scent to it, so it not only feels good on my skin, but smells great too!
Using the cleansing water is super simple. I use round cotton facial pads and lightly soak them with the water. I apply it all over my face including my eye and lip area and all traces of makeup are removed without having to rub harshly. I only use a couple of facial pads and the job is done.
This is so much easier than having to first use an eye/lip makeup remover and then use a facial cleanser to remove makeup and cleanse my skin. The micellar cleansing water does all of that in just one easy step. Now I am quite strict with my cleansing routine morning and night, using two cleansers every time, but sometimes (and I know we all do this!) I just can't be bothered removing makeup and cleansing my skin the proper way. Micellar water is so much better than using facial wipes in more ways than one and my skin feels better too! I usually get a breakout or two when using facial wipes (probably because they contain so much alcohol) but with Sukin's Micellar Water I haven't had any breakouts.
The price point for this product is very affordable and the bottle will last me a long time before it needs replacing.
This product is great at removing base makeup with little irritation, having little fragrance. It fails, however, to remove eye makeup without excessive tugging, and I find I have to use a lot of the product due to this. Instead, I would recommend the Sukin oil cleanser for the eyes.
I bought this because I love Sukin as a brand, use many of their other products, and thought it might be a cheaper natural alternative to other micellar waters I've used in the past. BUT IT BURNS! And makes my lips go numb. Technically the product works but I can't get past how it feels on my skin. Would not recommend or repurchase.
