Gives me smooth soft skin
I've been using this exfoliator for about 3 weeks now and it has smoothed my skin. I use it 2 times per week usually a Tuesday and a Friday or Saturday after cleansing at night and it makes my skin soft and smooth and removes any dry bits of skin that I have. It doesn't really have a fragrance and the granules that are in it aren't too big and they're not harsh. I actually find it really comfortable to use and I don't feel like it's tearing my skin. I also find it to have a medium thickness. It's not too runny or too thick. Just about right. I will continue to purchase this as I like the Sukin brand as they use good ingredients and don't include the bad ones in their formulations. I would recommend this to my family and friends.
Great Physical Exfoliator
This is an exfoliating scrub that's meant to be used once or twice a week to help get rid of the excess build up that regular cleansing doesn't get rid of. (It's not meant to be used as a cleanser itself, which is why some are finding it doesn't remove everything sufficiently. It's an extra, not sole, product.) I use both physical and chemical exfoliators, and while some argue that chemical types are more gentle, I find a good physical one does a better job for my skin, depending on how it is.
My combination skin can get quite oily so when I feel like the chemical exfoliants aren't doing enough, I go for this. I use it in the shower as it can get quite messy. The granules are actually quite large compared to most other scrubs, reminding me of the St Ives that people say you shouldn't use on your face any more. I wonder if this one compares with the harshness of the nut shells (St Ives is apricot). Either way, I don't find it to be too harsh at all. In fact, I would like more effect from it, which is why I have given 4 stars.
I like to use this before cleansing so I can wash off any excess that the water doesn't get with the cleanser. It's quite refreshing and nice to use, not drying at all, and I love that it only includes good ingredients; no nasties. I've used a few products by Sukin and this is my favourite so far.
A really nice gentle exfoliator
I like to use this Sukin Revitalising Facial Scrub twice a week. It leave my skin feeling super soft and luxurious. When applying the scrub it does not feel scratchy on my skin whatsoever. The scrub uses biodegradable Bamboo Extract and Walnut Shell Powder to gently exfoliate the skin. I use a small amount on my fingertips then rub it on my face and neck in circulation motions before rinsing with warm water. It has a nice pleasant scent to it too. Also it does no irritate the skin. And 1 bottle lasts me a few month and it is really affordable.
This product is part of Sukin's Signature range and comes in a 125ml tube. It has a light, creamy texture without a strong scent with small gritty bits that are made of walnut shell. There are some lovely ingredients such as sesame oil, glycerin, jojoba oil, rosehip oil, Vit E. The scent from the citrus and lavender oils is subtle which is to my liking. After rinsing, my skin feels soft and not dried out. I'd say this would be good for slight dry to combination skins.
It is reasonably gentle for a scrub, but not the gentlest and I've come across. You can feel the that the walnut shell powder is irregularly shaped and not round. I would recommend using this only 2-3 times a week and not scrubbing too vigorously.
I love Sukin products however for someone with very oily skin and who wears a lot of sunscreen, I found this cleanser a bit too soft and left me felling like I added another layer to my skin, rather than cleaning off the grime. If you double cleanse this is great for using after a 'stronger' cleanser. made with bamboo and walnut shells, this cleanser is a great alternative to scrubs with harmful micro beads.
Really easy to use tube that I leave in the shower.. Quick and easy to do a quick scrub, and know that it is doing the job. you can feel the dead skin scrubbing away. The formula seems to be a good consistency and just adding a little water get the job started. and suitable for sensitive skin, its really nourishing. I am a fan of this scrub, after trying a number of brands until I got it right!
I bought the Sukin face scrub after reading great reviews about it and I'm so glad I did as it has become my favourite cleanser! I find it is gentle enough to use every day as it isn't too harsh, the particles are made from bamboo and walnut shells and not nasty micro beads and it gives a very effective clean without being too drying thanks to the added jojoba and Roseville. The fragrance is lovely, not at all overpowering, and the texture is beautiful. Overall another great product from Sukin which I will continue to use and enjoy!
This is my all time favourite cleanser. It has a lovely subtle scent which isn’t over powering. It makes me face feel very clean and refreshed. I love how it has little beads in it, but they are not too harsh on the skin and I have very sensitive skin. This is a lovely cleanser that I recommend highly
The Sukin Revitalising Facial Scrub is my one of my favourite facial scrub because it cleanses my skin thoroughly without drying out my skin. The scrub has very fine particles which exfoliates the skin very gently. I have very dry skin during winter and this scrub doesn’t irritate my skin at all. Very affordable price so highly recommend.
AH-MAZ-ING! The sukin exfoliating scrub is so cleansing and moisturising!! I have struggled with sensitive skin for ages and every product I have tried from the sukin range is so good for sensitive skin. Feels really nice when applying the product to skin and cleanses your pores really deeply. I pair this product with exfoliating gloves and it gives my skin a gorgeous dewy and soft look to it. I squeeze a pea size amount onto my fingertips and rub it in using circular motions. The scrub contains natural granules of bamboo and walnut shells which exfoliates your skin really nicely without irritating it. Definitely, recommend as it is great for all skin types and is super affordable.
Sukin you have made my face shine. I enjoy the gentle cream with the small abrasive particles for my delicate skin. It is packaged well and easy to apply as the texture is perfect. I use it conveniently in the shower as an everyday cleanser, hat preps me for moisturiser.
Can I please just start my review with, "Sukin, you are goals". I could not fault one thing from the entire brand, affordable yet all natural which is really what your skin may need. The Sukin Revitalising Facial Scrub is by far my favourite item from their range. There is something about the combination of bamboo extract and ground walnuts that really scrubs but gently scrubs away all that dead skin, preventing those pesky pimples and blackheads and then leaves my skin feeling so smooth and fresh, while transporting me to another place, definitely an exotic rainforest. While the aloe vera, chamomile keep my skin soothed and not irritated, because if you are a sensitive skin pal out there you understand how important that is. Then the rose hip, jojoba and sesame oils leave my skin hydrated and glowy, so I am ready to step out of the rainforest and into daily life.
The Sukin Revitalising Facial Scrub is a refreshing and revitalising facial scrub.
The scrub comes in aplastic squeeze tube. The texture is soft and creamy, and the scent is a very soft and subtle mix of woody and vanilla. I love the gentle scent of this scrub.
To apply, I slightly wet my face first, and then apply the scrub and buff it into my skin in circular motions and then wash it off. The scrub has really tiny granules/beads that are very gentle on the skin. Sometimes I find that the granules in other scrubs can be a little bit rough on my skin, but the Sukin facial scrub is very gentle. It is quick and easy to wash off.
When I use this scrub once or so a week my skin feels really soft, refreshed and revitalised and it helps clear up any blemishes I have.
Its suitable for normal and even dry skin because of how creamy and gentle it is. It is not a heavy duty scrub so you can use it most days if needed.
It has quite a few natural ingredients and is paraben free, and free from other nasties. So no need to worry about polluting the environment with microbeads. Plus it is also Australian and super affordable.
Overall, it is a great gentle facial scrub to use. I would recommend this to others with normal skin looking for a gentle scrub, it is not heavy duty scrub.
Pros:
- refreshing and revitalising
- soft and gentle
- natural ingredients
- paraben free
- very affordable
Cons:
- none
I’m a big fan of Sukin. They’re super affordable - possible the best matrix of affordability and quality of any brand out there. The facial scrub is super gentle, and full of great all-natural ingredients with nothing bad - no parabens, SLS, micro-beads or anything you don’t want absorbed into the skin. Australian, not tested on animals, vegan, smells great (sort of citrus vanilla - but subtle), can be used several times a week, and contains stuff like rosehip oil, walnut shells, aloe, sesame oil, bamboo and jojoba. Leaves the skin tingling and super clean feeling but not irritated. Mine is very sensitive and mature and I find that my skin is left soft and ready to absorb any moisturiser or serum I want to put on after (Sukin makes great moisturisers and serums too that compliment this very well). That I can find it everywhere and in my local Priceline often on sale, is a very big plus. Perfect for all skin types from teenage skin (my daughter loves it), to mature skin like mine. What’s not to love?
I love this all-natural facial scrub from Sukin. I managed to find a jumbo size tube for the price of the regular size product at my local chemist, and after reading the ingredients and product information on the tube didn't hesitate buying one.
The scrub primarily uses micro-particles of ground bamboo extract and walnut shells to provide a gentle, but very effective exfoliation result. It has absolutely no nasty micro-beads which are terrible for both skin and the environment. It is also chock-full of skin-loving ingredients like Aloe Vera, Chamomile, Jojoba and Rose Hip.
I use my tube in the shower, as it's ideal to use nearly every day even on sensitive skin. It has a natural, nutty scent that is modest and in-offensive and the creamy, grainy texture is a true delight to use. I love how it feels on my skin and have been delighted with the results it delivers - clear, refined skin that feels as smooth as silk - everything I want from a facial scrub.
This is another winner from Sukin and is a face scrub I will definitely be repurchasing. Very highly recommended.
The Sukin exfoliating scrub is perfect for using daily to keep my skin feeling soft and smooth. It comes in a soft plastic tube which stands on the flip top lid and I only need a little bit for each use. I simply squeeze out a small amount and apply gently and massage in circular motion onto my face, neck and décolletage. After use, my skin feels incredibly soft, but not dry or tight. This scrub has tiny all natural granules of bamboo and walnut shells, but it is so tiny that it doesn't scratch or irritate my skin. I cannot stop recommending this Australian all natural scrub. It is affordable, has a mild scent (like vanilla), doesn't contain parabens or harsh chemicals.
I like using this scrub to cleanse and really clean my face.
Pros: gentle for daily use, non irritating, low fragrance, Australian made, no chemicals, low priced,
Cons: none :)
Tip: Use this natural scrub on the back of your neck and décolletage to soften this area which is often neglected.
Recommendation: This exfoliating scrub is mild and effective to suit anyone, makes and females, to keep the skin feeling soft and natural. Perfect for anyone and everyone!
