There are certain properties in body products which really hit home with me – a citrus fragrance, deeply hydrating and all natural ingredients– and the Sukin Ultra Hydrating Body Oil ticks all three.
The oil is packaged in an amber coloured plastic bottle with a pump dispenser covered by a clear protective cap. This makes the bottle ideal for travelling because the cover protects the pump from being pushed down to prevent the oil from leaking. The 100ml bottle is also an ideal size for travelling.
This delightful blend of botanical oils help to soothe the body and mind. Packed with rosehip oil, marula seed oil, soybean oil and calendula flower extract, this oil can’t help but leave the skin feeling deeply hydrated and looking smooth and radiant. The citrus fragrance is an added bonus for me, awakening my senses.
I apply this body oil to my damp skin after showering which helps the oil to spread easier and locks in that much needed moisture. I also spritz my legs after shaving and apply the oil for ultra-smooth legs.
The oil is lightweight and absorbs nicely into my skin but at the same time seems to leave a slight film on the skin which is neither greasy nor oily. I find I can dress almost immediately without the oil getting on my clothes.
The Sukin Ultra Hydrating Body Oil is definitely hydrating. After massaging this oil into my skin over a two week period during winter I discovered I had a new found glow to my skin and this increased as I continued to use the oil. Heading into Spring my skin was really soft and smooth and actually looked healthy.
I have no hesitation in recommending the Sukin Ultra Hydrating Body Oil to anyone with dry skin who wants deeply moisturised, soft, smooth skin with a healthy glow. This body oil is a definite moisture boost.
This is a great affordable body oil from Sukin. It is lightweight, adsorbs easily into your skin and doesn't leave any oily or sticky residue and would be perfect to use in hotter weather. It has a lovely fresh citrusy scent and the pump bottle makes it easy and convenient to apply.
I apply it to my damp skin after a shower and the damp skin helps the oil to spread a little easier. My skin instantly soaks up the oil and I love how soft and moisturised my skin feels. I also love using this oil as a bath oil. It feels wonderful and indulgent soaking in the bath for an hour and you come out smelling so nice and your skin feels so hydrated. This oil is also great to soothe and calm your irritated skin after shaving.
Sukin Ultra Hydrating Body Oil is perfect for anyone with normal or dry skin and is a great natural product from an Australian company.
This oil absorbs nice and quickly and smells delicious.
It's especially amazing for dry feet. I just put a little extra on and then my socks on over top and go to bed. I wake up in the morning with baby soft feet! I would definitely recommend to anyone.
I love a good body oil: they're versatile, easy to use, and help with a plethora of beauty problems. Although not all body oils are the same and some tend to feel a lot oiler than others which can ruin the whole experience. It's hard to know what a body oil will be like until you actually try it. I have tried a lot of different body oils on the market and the Sukin ultra hydrating body oil is one of my favourites. Not only can you purchase it from a chemist but it's super affordable and does what it says plus a whole lot more! Sukin is an Australian brand that's natural, vegan and cruelty free. It's also free from a lot of chemicals so if you're trying to make the switch to clean beauty products you should definitely start off with the Sukin range. I picked up the body oil after I realised that none of the lotions and creams were addressing my dry skin problems. During the winter my skin goes from 0 to 100 on the dry skin meter. Not only does it get dry but it also starts to crack, get very itchy and I'll sometimes get eczema flare-ups which can be very irritating. I decided I was going to start using a body oil and went to look at the Sukin products to see if they had one. I was thrilled to see that they had a body oil in their range and picked it up. For the size of the bottle the price was a bargain and I loved that it came in a pump form so I could use it easily without creating a huge mess. The body oil contains several different types of oils including Marula Seed, Rosehip, Avocado and Soybean oil. I have used pure avocado oil in the past to help with my eczema and it worked wonders. I had also used rosehip oil by itself for my face and loved it. Having a combination of these different oils plus vitamin E, sweet almond oil and lavender oil made it smell wonderful. I used one pump for each of my legs and applied it all over. The oil felt so silky and it instantly made my legs feel so smooth and hydrated. One thing that I really liked when I was applying the oil was that it didn't cause any irritation to my skin. Sometimes when my skin is dry it can start to get red and irritated once I apply creams that tend to have a lot of harsh chemicals. With the body oil my skin had no problems and seemed to absorb the oil quite quickly. My legs didn't look as dry and cracked as before and it helped relieve the itching. As a body oil I used this for other things as well including scars, pigmentation, and stretch marks. It's not a miracle treatment but I did find that it helped soften my scars and lighten the appearance so it wasn't as noticeable. I have some stretch marks on my thighs and near my backside which aren't that apparent unless you come really close but keeping that area moisturised with body oil would make my stretch marks less pronounced. It would keep the area firm and plump and keep my skin looking youthful. You can use it on literally any part of your body and it won't leave your skin feeling greasy or heavy. Start off small as you can always add more oil should you need it. I find that the less oil the better because if you use too much then it can be hard to absorb and it can end up sitting on top of your skin. I like to put a couple of drops of the body oil in my bath to hydrate my skin. You can mix the oil with your favourite body cream or lotion for extra hydration. I've used it as a cuticle oil as my hands tend to get very dry. I've used it on my lips to keep it hydrated and to prevent it from cracking especially during the winter. It's a great multipurpose oil that I would recommend for everyone and for all skin types.

I must say this is the best drugstore body oil I’ve tried. The oil is extremely lightweight on skin and absorbs fairly quickly. I’ve got very dry skin so have used a bottle through the winter months every night before bed. My skin is so smooth and hydrated the next morning and stays for the whole day. For as little as eight dollars, I would highly recommend to friends.
i love an all natural product and sukin ticks every box. I adore this sukin ultra hydrating body oil as its so hydrating and gentle. its great value for money as a little goes a long way. I love that it sinks into skin immediately and has no greasy oily after feeling. It always leaves my skin silky soft and smooth, great for after a shower. I love the pump applicator as it means no mess and makes the product so easy to use and I absolutely love the gorgeous fresh citrus scent the oil has, like fresh cut ranges, delicious. A huge plus for me is that this oil has no nasties, no parabens, and they are not tested on animals.I love that the oil contains avocado and rose hip, so natural, gently and soothing, great for healthy skin. this oil is great for face or all over body. I would highly recommend this product, I just adore it.
I find myself reaching for body oils rather than moisturisers these days as they absorb much faster post shower, and I'm glad I have found one that is from such an eco-friendly Australian company. The oil is easy to apply, smells really nice, and visibly improves the hydration of my skin in just one application. I find the trick for body oils is not towel dry the skin before application - instead use the moisture from the water to spread the oil. The product is affordable and I will definitely be repurchasing.
This is an utterly fantastic oil, especially for my fellow beauty lovers who want an eco friendly, no 'nasties', vegan and best of all Aussie made and owned product and brand.
The bottle is housed in typical Sukin fashion - plastic, dark bottle - however, this bonus was it had a pump applicator which I feel are rare in drugstore priced products. For the price the quantity is quite generous at 100mL as you don't need alot even for the whole body. I highly suggest applying it to damp skin to help the oil go a long way and it also helps lock in the fullest amount of moisture to the skin.
The scent is absolutely divine, quite sweet yet fresh citrus scent and not at all overpowering. It is incredibly light weight and settles into the skin very fast which makes it an ideal candidate for both summer and winter use. In the summer it won't feel heavy or sticky on the skin and in the winter you'll be comfortable to layer clothing over it without feeling like they will stick to you.
This will definitely be a repurchase and has become a great HG body oil! I have never had such soft skin and have never enjoyed applying a body oil so much.
It's clear to say that I adore all Sukin products. They're all so natural and eco-friendly. This one has a gorgeous citrusy scent which makes it so appealing to use.
I have tried applying this on towel-dried skin after a shower and when I was mid-way through the bottle I switched to applying a moisturising spritz before applying the oil and found it to last that much longer and was easier to apply and spread over the body. For some reason, I also decide to use it on my feet and that's where I noticed the most difference, my feet were baby soft and it was like I had been using a foot scrub but I hadn't, bonus! The oil is very moisturising and hydrating, really lovely. It's not at all oily and greasy as you would expect. It sinks right in! I then follow up with my normal body moisturiser and the results are fantastic!
This body oil by Sukin has so much going for it. It’s inexpensive, natural, Australian made and owned and, most importantly, is a quality product.
The oil comes in a generously sized 100ml bottle with pump applicator. Being an oil it spreads easily and quickly so you only need a small amount. I find about 5-6 pumps more than enough to apply all over after showering.
If you are familiar with Sukin products then you’ll definitely recognise the scent here. It has the same sweet orange fragrance that most of their other products have. Being a lovely fresh citrus scent I find myself reaching for it more in the Summer months. It can also be used as a bath oil so I do get some use out of it in Winter when I have hot baths.
As a body oil this is nicely moisturising without feeling heavy or leaving an oil slick on the surface of your skin. It absorbs fairly quickly and leaves my skin feeling soft until the next time I apply it. It’s easy to see why it’s so nourishing when you look at the ingredients. The main oils are Marula seed, rosehip, avocado and soybean but there are many others listed as well.
Like all other Sukin products this contains no nasties such as SLS, mineral oils, parabens etc. They’re also vegan friendly and against animal testing.
As a side note – if anyone was sad to see Sukin’s Wellbeing body oil disappear from the market then don’t despair! This is the exact same product, just renamed and repackaged (I contacted the company last year and they confirmed this).
