VS Sassoon Smooth & Wave - VSP2662A

I was lucky enough to win this VS Sassoon Smooth & Wave in a competition - Wow !   It is a multi purpose tool that can straighten and also give gorgeous soft waves. Like all VS tools this is so easy to manage and there are numerous videos on You Tube to help you get the look that you want as well as detailed instructions in the box. I have long straight hair and had to play quite a few times to get the curl that I wanted and to arrange the settings to suit my hair for best result. I find the curl quite soft for me even on the hottest/longest setting but that is the look I like, its very natural.  A good strong spray of hairspray is all I need and then I run my fingers through to get a natural look just before I go out. I'm very happy with the results and feel confident that my hair is always looking its best.  I consider this tool essential in my beauty kit.

I received this VS Sassoon Curl Secret as a gift this Christmas. I have medium length layered hair so I was quite ecstatic about receiving this as present so see if i could rely on this as a 'safer' option of curling my hair instead of using an exposed curling wand. I was surprised to see the results to see the curls quite bouncy and hair still looks so silky! However, it did take me a good 30 mins to complete my whole head of hair, compared to a curling wand which takes approximately 15 minutes. Nevertheless, I am quite pleased with the product. love the VS Sassoon Curl Secret. I have tried GHD, hot rollers and the conical style curlers but this is by far the easiest and best. Yes, my hair sometimes gets tangled inside but it is easy enough to remove when you get the warning beep. I have very straight, slippery hair so I could imagine this wouldn't work quite as well with coarse hair that tangles easily. Takes a maximum of 20 minutes on my long hair and I get a good hairstyle for 3 days with it. Love it!
