Its okay

My hair type is curly hair with oily roots. I really wanted to enjoy this product but unfortunately it didn't quite work well for me. Moose texture so shake can well, apply to your roots but it didn't feel like it was doing anything. Im a bit skeptical about how it claims to remove oil and buildup. I didn't find this to be the case because you are putting essentially a moose that turns into a slightly sticky product once rubbed onto your scalp so if anything its adding to the build up. The only good thing about this product is the smell. It really smells refreshing and i think it would be great to use but not with the intention of being a dry shampoo. I wouldn't recommend this as dry shampoo product.

Not suited for my hair type

Unfortunately, this product did not match well with my fine straight hair, and I think it would be better suited for those with thicker and textured hair. Like others have said, although it left my hair feeling soft, after a few hours, it weighed my hair down and my hair went limp and flat with a slight oiliness. I prefer the spray version better and I would avoid applying it directly to the roots, and more towards the ends.I probably would not repurchase, and give this product to my friend who has fuller hair.

Not for me!

Not a fan. I was excited to try this product as I have never used a dry shampoo foam. Unfortunately this product did not work well in my really fine, coloured hair. The product sat funny and did not blend in to create a cleaner more refreshed look. It did the opposite! My hair looked even more oily and damp. I tried using the blow dryer to settle the product, however it just achieved the same look. I then had to wash my hair as it looked more oily then before. I think I will stick to the traditional dry shampoo sprays in future. I love that the product is waterless and leaves little to no residue but that’s about it. I wouldn’t buy this product again

Innovative, but not effective

I received this item as a sample to try and was excited at the idea of an innovative option of a foam dry shampoo as opposed to a dry shampoo spray. Whilst the product design was nice and the smell decent, I just wasn't a fan. The product made my fine hair sticky and my hair didn’t feel clean or refreshed. The after texture of my hair was more sticky after if anything. The product also didn’t do much for my oily roots, felt more like a styling mousse than a dry shampoo product. I most likely would not purchase again.

Not a fan - stick with normal dry shampoo!

I'd never tried something like this so I thought it'd be interesting to try! I'm a huge fan of dry shampoos in general so I was keen to give the foam version a try. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. The texture was similar to that of foam styling products, and once rubbed between the palms, it turns into a clear, slightly sticky, almost serum like texture. I was a bit skeptical that it would leave a sticky/wet residue in my hair, but it dried relatively quickly without any residue being left on the hair/scalp. I don't think it's as effective as the standard dry shampoo though - it just didn't feel as though it was soaking up the oil as well. Won't be switching from my normal dry shampoo any time soon!

Not as good as the spray on dry shampoo

I was interested to try this product as I have never used a dry shampoo foam before, and I didn’t even know it existed. Unfortunately this product doesn’t work on my hair, which is thick Asian hair. I tried putting it straight on my hair and brushing it through with my fingers, and it looked a bit oilier than it did when I started. I also tried warming it up in my hands like a gel and then combing it through - neither way worked particularly well. I much prefer dry shampoos that can soak up the oiliness.

Waterless dry shampoo foam!

Waterless Dry Shampoo Foam is a different concept than normal. I tried it a few times before writing this review and really I felt I should note that my hair type is not the recommended hair type for use!!! I have fine bleached blonde hair that is straight with a slight wave and frizz from humidity. But I thought I'd give it a try anyway!!! The first time I used it I just used it on my hair sparingly but found it a bit messy and it wasn't just applied to my roots but kind of got a but everywhere while trying to apply to roots. It didn't dry fast enough for me so I helped it out with a hair dryer. And brushed and styled it. It was ok but not the easiest way. I preferred normal spray on dry shampoo. I tried the product again and again and still found it not the easiest way to dry shampoo but it did remove my oily roots but still required assistance to fully dry quickly and so used my hairdryer to speed things along. Its not going to be a product I'm going to use much as my hair isn't right for it but I did try it in my friends hair and it worked fantastic in hers. (Her hair is thick and curly with somewhat oily roots) it worked great! Overall its a good product but definitely needs to be matched to thick or thick curly hair

Not best for my hair type

I liked the idea of this product - I've never used a foam based dry shampoo before and I was definitely intrigued by how it would work and compare to the results of a normal spray formula! I did find the normal spray had a markedly better impact on my own hair - the bottle does suggest this is better suited for thick/curly hair and I have quite fine straight hair so I do think that perhaps this just isn't the product for my own personal hair type! It had a lovely subtle fragrance though which I loved.

Waterless Dry Shampoo Foam

I was curious to see the difference between regular dry shampoo and foam dry shampoo as I had never used this type of product before. Unfortunately this product did not work for me. I struggled with the idea of a foam as I generally use dry shampoo. My hair is quite fine so I found adding a foam as opposed to traditional dry shampoo left more residue and weighed my hair down more which in some ways can make it look oily or dirty. This may work better on other hair types however for myself it was not the right product.

Works wonders on my stubborn hair

I had never used dry shampoo foam before and I was a bit hesitant at first, thinking it would leave my hair looking damp and oily. I was quite surprised that this did the opposite, once it had set in. Used together with the dry conditioner, it really does make my hair feel like I had just washed it with shampoo in the shower. A small amount goes a long way, and it’s so quick and easy to use, especially in the morning when I’m rushing to get ready for work. Give this a go, if it can work wonders on my thick, curly, stubborn hair, I’m almost certain this will work for most other hair types.

OK Experience with this dry shampoo!

I am not sure If I really like this product or not. I had some issues with taking out the product as I pressed it but It kinda all dispersed on my hand. I am not sure if it's meant to be this way or I just pressed it wrong and it also kind of detached from bottle. Coming to the product, the waterless dry shampoo smells really nice and I gently applied it onto the roots according to the instructions mentioned. The hairs seem to be cleaner after applying it. It did suck up the oil from roots but I felt the a bit of white residue too which I am not a fan of and which I didnt experience in waterless dry shampoo no residue. I have fine hairs and the shampoo added a bit volume which felt nice. Overall I have an OK experience with it.

Not for me..

I wasn't a fan of this and wouldn't repurchase. I definitely think it is more suited as a styling product rather than a dry shampoo - it didn't really have any impact on my oil or make my hair look fresh, but it did add some extra texture which would be ideal for styling. It is a foam formula which is a bit different to all other dry shampoos I have tried and it does have a nice fragrance, but it did seem to leave some residue and dry my hair out. I'll continue to use it up and see if I can get better results out of it.

So good

The Waterless Dry Shampoo Foam was so easy to spray into my hand! I then applied it onto my roots as I massaged the product into my scalp! The dry shampoo’s use of natural and sustainable ingredients make it feel that much better to use. The shampoo did not fail to cleanse, hydrate and refresh my hair at the roots! It didn’t dry it out and remove the moisture, but rather made my scalp feel super clean! The scent of the product is also really nice and makes my hair smell amazing! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone out there in need of a superb dry shampoo! It works wonders and is a must-have!

Something different but not for me

As someone who has only ever used spray dry shampoo, I was intrigued by the Waterless Dry Shampoo Foam and how it would help my oily hair. The product isn’t as easy to use as a spray as you need to pump the product into your hands and then apply to your scalp and that ends up taking time. There is a fresh florally scent that can become overpowering and it is hard to evenly distribute the product throughout the hair than a spray would. This product hasn’t converted me to purchase this product and I will continue with the spray version.

Lovely Smell

I loved the smell of this product. This dry shampoo is by far one of the best I have used —if not the most popular—options out there for all hair types. Put simply this formula checks off all of the boxes. It refreshes hair instantly, masks odor, and adds va-va volume at the roots without leaving behind a noticeable chalky residue. All that at such an affordable price. It leaves hair fresh and clean without leaving it tangled or caked up with product. I have been using the Spray as a volumizer/texturizer and it makes my hair bouncy and refreshed with no sticky and residue. I do prefer the spray variation rather than this foam as it is easier to use for me.

Not greta for fine hair

Not my favourite way to use Dry Shampoo. I much prefer a lighter spray because I have fine hair. I think if you have thick or curly hair this product would double as a great styling product. Because it leaves your hair feeling quite stiff, I think it made my hair seem less fresh than if I had used a regular Dry Shampoo. I would still recommend this product to someone of a different hair type because I loved the No Residue Dry Shampoo of the same range so it was probably more the compatibility with my fine hair that let this product down for me.

Was okay

I found this product to do an okay job, not the best. First time I distributed this product onto my palm, it splattered everywhere, so it does get quite messy. Upon application I found the product gave my hair the opposite effect of what a dry shampoo would do. It made my look quite wet and depending on how much you used, using too much of it can make the roots look quite oily and made my hair feel flat. What I did like about this product was the nice refreshing scent and didn't make my hair feel sticky. Overall I wouldn't reach out for this product much and prefer dry shampoo in the form of a spray instead of a foam. Overall the product wasn't terrible but I think there are better options for sure.

Not bad, but not good either.

As a curly haired girl I had hoped this would be my hairs new miracle product... It wasn't bad, but it didn't wow me either. I liked the feel of the foam on my hands. It was light weight and it came out of applicator with ease. Unlike the dry shampoo powder spray this foam had a really lovely scent! It was easy to apply to the hair and massage into the scalp. A little tip I discovered is that it works better and produces a more voluminous finish if you apply it and massage it in with your head upside-down!! While it applied nicely, I didn't notice it actually freshening my hair by absorbing excess oils. I actually felt that it made the ends of my hair appear more oily? Overall, it's the kind of product I might use again if I'm in a pinch, but I don't know that I would choose to purchase it. I can't say I would even recommend it to anyone... maybe if they just wanted a fresh fragrance between washes, but not to achieve a less oily appearance.

Foamy and Sweet Scents

Foamy dry shampoo was a hard concept for me to get my head around and unfortunately this product didn't change my opinion. I tried it a few times to make sure I wasn't using it wrong but it didn't work as well as the dry shampoo spray. I think this product is an interesting concept but it didn't work for my hair, even though my hair is quite thick and this is the hair it is targeted at. I felt that my hair stayed quite wet afterwards and didn't seem to dry. It does smell fantastic, I feel this brand really nails the scents in their products but this one missed the mark for me.

Not Bad

I was not as impressed with the foam. It was a very wet texture and felt like a leave in mousse that didn’t dry properly. I was happy to try it but I think because I have fine hair, it may work well on thicker hair. As the humidity hit, the product seemed to become wet again. My scalp didn’t fee, clean and my hair became a little oily. Wouldn’t purchase it in the future, but may be a good product for thick hair. It isn’t bad value for money and the product would definitely go a long way. It was a good product to try and it is a good way to try products before you buy.
