Burt’s Bees Peach & Willowbark Pore Scrub

I was given a tube of Burt’s Bees Peach & Willowbark Deep Pore Scrub, and although I liked the sound of the ingredients I was a bit hesitant to use the scrub because I thought it might be a bit abrasive on my combination skin.  However, after using it for the first time I realised how gentle it is.    I have mature skin with visible pores along the t-zone and prone to blackheads on my nose. I love using scrubs and masks to unclog and brighten my skin.    I quite like the course, grainy texture of this scrub which I use a couple of times a week during my morning shower.  I think the creamy gritty texture acts as a gentle exfoliator without drying out my skin. The combination of grapeseed oil and coconut oil which work together to hydrate the skin obviously suits my skin type. My skin hasn’t felt irritated nor has it shown any signs of redness.    After I’ve used the Peach & Willowbark Deep Pore Scrub I follow with my normal skincare routine of toner, booster, serum and moisturiser.  My skin looks and feels nourished with nice clean pores.    What I also like about the Burt’s Bees Peach & Willowbark Deep Pore Scrub is that it is packaged in a tube.  This makes it easy to dispense the product and also to control how much is dispensed. Also I find tubes are a lot easier to carry when travelling.    I think this is a really nice scrub with a subtle fragrance for gently getting rid of impurities.  I recommend this scrub to anyone with combination or oily skin.  Just give it a go and see what you think.  

Burt’s Bees Peach & Willowbark Pore Scrub is a great exfoliator if you have enlargaed pores, open pores, oily skin, blackheads or just want clearer, radiant and brighter skin.      It has willowbark and peach extracts to gently but thoroughly exfoliate your skin.     I use this scrub just once a week, it tackles my pores, blackheads and oiliness all at the same time.    I find once a week enough for this scrub, as it is quite a powerful scrub.   After cleansing, squeeze out some of the product and gently massage over your face for about one minute.    After the first use, your skin will feel amazingly clean and super refreshed.   Any dry or dead skin will be removed and your skin will feel fabulously soft, clear and smooth.  After a few uses, your skin feels great, and any pores are visibly reduced and your skin will look so much clearer and healthier.   I find it helps with my oiliness too, and blackheads are hardly even visible. This scrub really does help me out with my clogged pores. After I use it my skin feels 100x smoother and softer. It also helps eliviate the dry patches that I have to deal with once in awhile. I don't use it everyday, just when I notices my pores getting clogged and/or I start to get dry patches. It's a little abrasive but, it's nothing to worry about if you're gentel and use just your fingertips to massage it in.

I feel like exfoliaters are an essential part of any good skin care routine and especially so if you are prone to oily/congested skin like I am. The problem is however, most exfoliaters are simply too rough,full of chemicals and seem to do more harm than good. The Burts Bees Peach and Willowbark scrub appealed to me straight away because of its all natural ingredients. It comes in a nice white and peach colored tube with a flip top lid. The scent is incredible-a nice mild earthy mix that I personally love. To use ,you apply a small amount to skin. I apply after already cleansing but you can just apply this on its own if you dont wear too much makeup. I was initially surprised by the texture. A rich cream with quite sparse large granules. I was expecting a more liquid formula with smaller granules and was worried the large granules of this would be quite abrasive to my sensitive skin. I was very careful to be extra gentle while massaging it on my skin. The scent was so soothing and it felt quite creamy and relaxing to use. Once rinsed off my skin felt amazingly hydrated,soft and smoothed. Usually my skin feels quite dry after a lot of similar type products. I was pretty happy with the results.  With continued use I found this to be very effective at keeping congestion and impurities at bay. As long as you massage it in very gently it can be used for even the most sensitive of skin types. I would recommend this to all except those with current blemishes and acne. It is free of all nasties, keeps skin smooth and clear naturally and will not irritate at all if used gently. Great exfoliator, really sloughs off the dirt and leaves my skin feeling clean and soft. Not overpowering and doesn't give you the tight, itchy feeling that some cleansers do. Product smells great (I really love peaches) and the willowbark is surprisingly gentle on the face, gives a deep clean so don't use it daily or you'll strip your face of natural oils. I use it once a week and it lasts for a surprisingly long amount of time. If you're looking for a new cleanser, go for an organic one like this as you don't want to use nasty chemicals on your face. I heartily recommend!

This exfoliater really brightens up my skin and leaves my skin looking and feeling fresh and clean. The best thing is it works super well without drying out the skin, which most exfoliaters with synthetic ingredients do. The peach and willow bark scrub is made of natural ingredients which makes it a guilt free treat for the skin. It has a gorgeous gentle fragrance and it's gritty texture allows it to clear the pores very effectively. Team it up with any bursts bees moisturiser and watch your skin shine! I'll be using this product for a long time to come and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to achieve clear skin with a natural product.

I really loved this scrub, I originally bought it for the price point which is great, but the results far outweigh the price. A gorgeous effective, grainy scrub that leaves skin super clean smooth and glowing. An amazing exfoliator that is so easy to use, just squeeze out mix with water and rub in and rinse off to clean pores, remove dead skin and grime. Skin looks radiant after use and a little goes a long way, it also smells lovely. I use this product once a week to refresh skin and I would recommend it.

Oddly enough as I get older I have started to get pimples, (big ones!) so I need a good buff and polish on a weekly basis to keep my pores congestion free. Burt's Bees Peach & Willowbark Deep Pore Scrub works it magic without drying my skin out. It has a pleasant scent and the texture is perfect for bringing my dull skin back to life.   The finely ground peach stones and whitish coloured cream are really easy to use and it can be used in the shower. Wet face, apply, gently rub and then rinse. My skin instantly feels smooth, soft and rejuvenated. After using it for a month I can say that it has helped with my breakouts and my skin looks clearer.   The packaging is environmentally friendly and contains 18% post-consumed recycled plastic. The natural scrub will not pollute the environment!!! Big thumbs up!   I recommend this wonderful scrub, it gets results.

This scrub is very gritty which makes it a super effective exfoliater. The 'grit' is made from ground peach stone and Willow Bark and makes my skin feel super soft and clear. I love that it is made from 99.9% natural ingredients and smells great too. I recommend it!
