COVERGIRL + Olay Simply Ageless 3-in-1 Liquid Foundation

I chose the Buff Beige for this product which is probably a shade too light for my medium skin tone but would be better for winter. The pump makes it easy to apply. The texture is very light but gives a medium coverage. Does what it says and hides imperfections and sets to a dewy finish. Quite long wearing and non greasy. The only negative is that it does not have an spf which is essential for our climate. I love that it has a serum.

I love the idea of double (or triple!) duty products and the teaming up between Olay and Covergirl is very neat. This foundation keeps the moisturiser and makeup separate in the container but it emulsifies on application so you're effectively applying both product in one go, which makes for a very natural looking effect that seems to last all day without the need for an additional moisturiser. That also makes it super handy for travel (which I'm hoping to do again one day...). I also found that the cover stayed true to my skin tone without changing through the day which sometimes happens. My skin also remains hydrated and comfortable - with no itchiness or breakouts and with skin that tends towards the dry and sensitive, that's a win. I did find that the applicator put out more product than I'm used to, and is thicker than any foundation I've used before (actually difficult to wash off the hands), but it does blend in very easily particularly if you're using a foundation brush (as I do), or beauty blender. There is a slight fresh scent which disappears quickly once you apply. I'm very happy that Covergirl is now cruelty-free (yay!) and this does contain some skin-friendly ingredients like Niacinamide which provides vitamin B3 and is also good for breakouts and other skin issues, and Vitamin E. Though I generally prefer a more natural product, I was pleasantly surprised at how natural this felt on my skin and how well it minimised wrinkles and pores - quite a good outcome for me. Price is quite reasonable, and I've seen this everywhere - supermarket, pharmacies, etc, so very accessible to most people which is a bonus. My skin is 50+ and tends towards the dry and I feel I'm the perfect target market for this. Younger skin might find it too emollient, though again, in spite of its thickness, the overall effect is very light and natural.

Absolutely amazing! Keeps my skin younger, fresher and more Suttle than ever before. So very pleased with this foundation. I would highly recommend for people that are wanting a foundation that only makes you look fabulous form the outside but also feeling amazing and youthful from the inside. So very good! 

This foundation drew me in the to the 3 in 1 concept. I went in knowing it wasn't exactly for my skin type. It turns out that didn't matter all that much, as it ended up wearing well throughout the day. It was easy to apply, blend and it didn't oxidize. It didn't cling to dry patches and kept my skin looking dewy without looking oily. This would be great for someone with dryer skin.

Everything I desperately need in a foundation, smooths out my deep wrinkles and provides lightweight yet matte coverage. This foundation which is a clever collaboration of Covergirl and Olay, will take years of your skin, without a doubt, no matter your age! I HATE the crows feet and wrinkles under my eyes that every other liquid foundation emphasises, makes me so self conscious and ashamed, however if you suffer these nasty little lines, this foundation will scrap them! The product glides over my wrinkles, makes them look softer and will never cling to them! It's the foundation coverage you can trust from Covergirl and the skin enhancing anti aging properties Olay is famous for, that make this product a WOW all in one foundation for anyone conscious of their ageing skin! This foundation comes out silky and moist, you will need just a small amount on your skin for it to be really effective. I don't like to use too much, simply because a little bit can do so much for your skin, there is no need to waste this product by poring out too much! Believe me, just a drop will hide all your imperfections and help you to feel confident and your very best. An aspect that I LOVE so much, is that this foundation hides not just wrinkles, age spots and aging skin, it also helps to control your blemishes! So pimples and wrinkles? Yep, your covered! Sometimes my skin can look really inflamed and covered in acne, but I love how gentle and soothing this foundation is, it hides all my redness and calms down my angry skin. It's so important to use a foundation that will really improve your skin, and I know using this foundation my skin is being nurtured and nourished by all the added vitamins (thank you Olay!). This foundation really adapts well to my skin colour, it never looks orange of my face which I love! So often foundations can leave me feeling a bit like an oompa loompa, but I promise this one wont! Because the foundation is such a divine, silky consistency you will never look 'cakey' or powdery. Even my dark, black bags under my eyes feel so covered, usually I have to wear stacks of concealer. Another aspect that I am obsessed with about this product, is that it really does last all day long, and never turns my skin greasy looking! I admit I can be a bit of a shiny skinned lady at times, but my skin stays perfectly matte when I use this. The only exception is that this foundation isn't waterproof so watch out for heavy sweating or splashing water on your face, you will need a little touch up. When I travel and know that i'll be hitting the pool/beach, I usually like to take this foundation around with me and apply as I need it. All the active ingredients are such a terrific bonus that you never find in a foundation, especially of this affordable price range (win win!!), because it is summer, flaky and sunburnt skin will be moist and hydrated so well by this foundation. My skin has been really parched from too much sun exposure, but I've found wearing this foundation has really plumped up my skin and stopped it from peeling! A summer favourite and a must have! It's now been many months that I've been using this foundation everyday as a part of my makeup routine, and wow, my skin has never looked better. I feel like my wrinkles are looking less unsightly and my skin is so much softer. It's actually make a lasting impact. Everyday foundation used to clog my skin, and give me redness, irritations and more dreaded acne. Now my skin is on the mend, and I just feel so happy that improving my skin is only one step now instead of having to apply numerous skin care creams. Now there's never an excuse not to use my skin care cream, because it's actually inside my foundation (I can't be lazy anymore!). I think this is a super versatile foundation, whether your skin is dry and parched, or pimply and irritated, this foundation will care for your skin like no other foundation ever has, as well as help you look great! Teamed with an incredible price tag to match, I only wish I had found this product sooner so I could've started helping my skin breathe and heal years ago!
