COVERGIRL Outlast All-Day Soft Touch Concealer

This concealer was a disappointment. It only comes in two shades, both too dark for me. I can't imagine they would suit many skin tones at all. It creases under my eyes and makes it look very dry and like I have alot of wrinkles. It doesnt cover acne scars well either, it seems to cling to any dryer patches which is just impossible to work with.

COVERGIRL Outlast All-Day Soft Touch Concealer Just recently I had the opportunity to trial Covergirl’s new Outlast All Day Soft Touch Concealer. There are 5 shades and I trialled Shade 010 Fair Clair. I have relatively fair skin and the shade was just perfect for me. My eyes naturally have an appearance of dark circles, even as a young girl. So of course, I have tried many products to normalise this flaw. The Covergirl Outlast Concealer is said to Instantly erase the appearance of dark circles and blemishes! Although I don’t have a major concern with my minor blemishes, I was excited to give the product a try. The Outlast Concealer is best used in conjunction to the 3 in 1 Foundation. So, I applied Outlast All Day 3 in 1 Foundation, followed by the concealer to cover my dark circles and mild blemishes. Then gently blended the concealer with my finger for a natural and seamless look all day. The break down; the concealer is an oil free liquid; the tube comes with a little inbuilt applicator sponge at the top. It’s not my preferred method because I am not an everyday user of makeup products and I would much prefer a separate applicator or my finger to apply products. Though the sponge was adequate upon application and further dabbing was needed to apply the product, it shall be interesting in time to see if my infrequent usage will dry out or deteriorate the sponge. Overall once applied the creamy, smooth concealer does last all day and provides a natural finish.

I’ve been on the hunt for a holy grail under eye concealer for a long time now. As someone that’s looking for a formula that is pigmented enough to hide dark circles, creamy enough not to accentuate my under eye dryness and stay put without creasing, I can tell you that it’s hard to find a concealer that fits the bill! The Covergirl Outlast All-Day Soft Touch Concealer is packaged in a convenient and easy to use squeeze tube that features a slanted, fluffy material applicator that is gentle enough to use directly under the eyes – although this concealer can be used all over the face to hide spots and imperfections.  The packaging of the product allows it to be easy to use at home or on the go for quick touch ups. The concealer has a nice mid range consistency that allows it to be blended out easily whilst still maintaining a nice level of pigmentation and coverage. With this concealer, I use a brush if I want a more pigmented finish and my fingers or the product applicator for a more sheerer finish, depending on the look I’m after. On the skin, the Covergirl Outlast All-Day Soft Touch Concealer maintains a beautifully natural finish that doesn’t cling to any dry patches (even under the eyes) but covers imperfections with a light to medium coverage with a natural finish – not too matte or too glowy, allowing the skin to shine through. On blemishes, the concealer did well to cover any minor redness and under the eyes, the formula was fabulous at concealing dark circles! I found it best to powder over the concealer to allow it to set and extend its wear time. Under the eyes, I only noticed a minor amount of creasing after the end of a long day. Overall, this concealer has really impressed me! I’ve gone through a tube of the product as it has become a staple in my everyday routine. I would definitely recommend giving this concealer a go.  

The concealer is packaged in a clear plastic squeeze tube with a sponge tip applicator. The tip is also so big it would be really useless for precise application and applying to smaller spots. I'm not really a fan of such packaging, I much prefer a tube with a wand applicator. I got the concealer in 810 Light and found that it was an excellent match for my skintone. It is a really lightweight thin liquid which helps to blend in more easily and is easily buildable to obtain more coverage by dabbing it into the skin. I found it very effective for use under the eyes to cover dark circles and really evened out the under eye skintone. As I have dry skin, I sometimes find I have issues with concealer drying to a cakey finish under the eyes but not this one which was really pleasant. However I did find it wasn't as effective on darker spots due to post acne pigmentation and found that I couldn't really build it up enough to completely cover it up.  I'd recommend this concealer for use under the eyes as it gives a really nice finish that didn't result in any creasiness or emphasise fine lines under the eye even at the end of the day.

This is a concealer that I can take with me in my bag for instant touch ups. It comes with a soft touch applicator which makes application easy without pulling my skin. I use this concealer under my eyes when I haven't slept properly. It evens out my skin tone and helps diminish blemishes and marks on my skin. The coverage varies on me, between light and medium coverage. This concealer is easy to use because I can apply with the applicator and then blend with my fingers. This concealer removes easily with a makeup remover wipe or micellar water.  Pros: Affordable  Non irritating  Provides good coverage  Helps brighten the skin under my eyes  Cons: Limited shades  Tips: Blend with your finger to help smoothen out the concealer 

I adore this covergirl concealer, so easy to apply, I love the tube and sponge applicator, it makes applying the product so easy by blending with the sponge tip. This concealer is so creamy with a lovely texture, it leaves a natural matt finish that is undetectable under foundation. Gorgeous pigmentation it thoroughly conceals fine lines, skin imperfections, blemishes and dark circles with ease. This product feels nice and light to wear and does not cake or go greasy, it lasted all day and is of a high quality. Covergirl always delivers and this concealer is a must for any makeup bag, a great product I highly recommend

The COVERGIRL Outlast All-Day Soft Touch Concealer is a great, everyday basic concealer.   This is a cream concealer comes in a tube with a sponge applicator. Its packaging is like lip-gloss, and it is a great travel friendly size so you can carry it around all day for touch ups as needed.   The sponge tip make the application easy, and if needed you can use the sponge tip to blend rather than one of your other make up brushes. I find that when my skin is normal and not on the dry side, that this concealer is really easy to blend. This concealer has a matte finish, so it may not be suitable for people with dry skin. It looks natural, not to heavy looking, and it does not cake up at all.   The coverage is great – medium coverage and I find it covers my blemishes and redness throughout the whole day. It wears evenly, and I only need to touch up this concealer if I am going out at night, as it usually lasts the whole day.   For the price, this Covergirl concealer is great for everyday wear.   Pros: - budget friendly - covers dark circles and blemishes - blends easily - lightweight on the skin   Cons: - limited shade selection - if you have dry skin it may not be hydrating enough          

This is the first Bourjois product I have tried and I am so impressed!! It is a very lightweight foundation that is easy to apply and blend into the skin, but the coverage is fantastic! I find that many light weight foundations are don't have that much coverage, but this has been a life saver in covering my spots and dark circles. I put about 2 pumps on the back of my hand and then use a beauty blender to blend it into my skin. It is easy to build it up to a medium coverage that has a dewy, but not shiny, finish. I love how long it lasts, it still looks good at the end of the day, albeit a little shinier, but still nice! I feel like my skin looks radiant and glowy when I wear this. While I have quite pale skin, the lightest shade works really well for my skin. I do understand that they don't have a great variety of shades for darker skin tones, which is disappointing because I love the formula, so I'd love everyone to be able to try it out!

This concealer glides on well though it just needed more pressure than the actual applicator to blend completely in so i just used my fingertips and it stayed on for hours and did the job.  Great product for $15 and a little went a long way so i expect this tube to last a very long time.
