Garbo & Kelly Rock Matte Liquid Lipstick

Recently tried this matte liquid lipstick and fall in love wih it. I have dry lips so most matte lipsticks makes my lips dry with line cracks. However, this lipstick works well on my lips and doesn’t make my lips look dry. I can still see the fine cracks but not bad at all. The colour is pigment and last for whole day without really needing to re-apply.

This is great! Rich vibrant colours that look just as good on the lips as in the packaging. It is super easy to apply as it is a wet gloss, with a high quality applicator that makes it easy to "line" the lips properly and get a good shape first time (though it is also easy to wipe off quickly if you make a mistake)! Once on it dries quite fast, and looks matte but still highly pigmented.  Definitely drink proof, and food proof to some degree. I had to reapply once but it was after 5 hours and a light lunch. 

I'm not really a liquid lipstick wearer (mainly because I hate the way they look when they rub off around the inside of the lip), however this product has honestly changed my lipstick game. I've never really been into lipstick, however I love this one! I have it in the shade 'Famous; which is a bright blue-red, a perfect red for a multitude of skin tones. When I apply this lipstick I use a lipliner underneath and then I fill in the outline using a sheer layer of the liquid lipstick. And honestly, this formula is so pigmented that all you need is a single layer and you have a super bold matte red lip! I find that this liquid lipstick completely dries down, sometimes it can feel a little tacky but there is literally not transfer! I have worn this on night outs where I have been drinking and I get home and my lip is completely intact! Which is so reassuring because I hhate when you are worrying about your lipstick all night- with this one you don't need too! I do find though that sometimes it can make your lips feel quite dry and tight as the day/night goes on. To combat this, I wear a little lipbalm before I apply the lipstick and then rub it off and apply the lipstick on top- this helps to keep my lips hydrated. I also love the doe-foot applicator of this liquid lipstick, I find it very easily to fil in my lips and create a smooth lip line using the applicator. Overall, a fantastic product for those who need a beautiful red budgeproof lip!

I love a good lipstick, especially a liquid lipstick, so I was eager to try the Garbo & Kelly Rock Matte Liquid Lipstick.   I love the colour choice of the 10 different shades and I had a hard decision in deciding which shade to choose.  I chose Nashville which is a deep berry shade.  I love that I am able to apply this as it's natural deep colour or I can change the shade to a softer one by applying a nude lipstick first.   This liquid lipstick has a creamy formula which applies wet before drying to a matte finish.  I've only been wearing matte lipsticks for the past year as I have become more confident in trying different formulas and shades, and I like the creamy formula of this one.   I find that this liquid lipstick is quite pigmented and the colour applies evenly.  I think the secret to a matte lipstick's staying power and appearance is often how hydrated and smooth the lips are.  Sometimes a matte lipstick can feel a bit drying but I found the Garbo & Kelly to be quite hydrating.   If you like a liquid lipstick with great colour then I recommend the Garbo & Kelly Rock Matte Liquid Lipstick.  

I am always a little skeptical about matte lippies because of my super dry lips. The Garbo Matt Lipsticks were being raved about and reviews stated they were non-drying on the lips so I gave it a whirl and everyone was right. It sits comfortably on my lips. I don't feel like i need to give my lips a 3 day break from lip products afterwards like i do with other brands. The colour lasted a fair amount of time as well as during lunch time. Did Not last all day but I wouldn't expect that from a standard lippie. The colour did not settle in the lines of my lips either. Definitely rivals my other high end lipsticks that's for sure! I can't wait to add more shades to my collection

This is such a wonderful liquid lipstick that applies and feels just like a high-end product, but for half the price. It glides on smoothly to my lips and dries almost immediately to a gorgeous matte consistency. What I love best about this is that it doesn't crack when I smile, which is all too common with matte liquid lipsticks. It is also not at all drying, and feels light on my lips rather than dry and powdery. The shades 'famous' (orangey-red) and 'encore' (blush pink) are my absolute favourites.  These have a great colour payoff because of how pigmented they are, and they're incredibly long-wearing. I never reapply throughout the day, even when I eat greasy food, and at the end of the day I always find that they're still going strong. I do use them with the lip liners though, so that probably contributes to their lasting power. These guaranteed won't feel heavy or drying on your lips and the colours are gorgeous, so I definitely recommend them.

I loved this Garbo and jelly rock matte liquid lipstick. I used it in conjunction with the matte lip liner for great results. This goes on wet like a gloss and dries to a great matte colour. The pigment is great and it’s long lasting, I had coffee and it still stayed put. Great colours, classy packaging and great price so great value for money. I love that the lipstick is hydrating and really moisturising to nourish lips while providing long lasting colour, loved it and would recommend it
