Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm

Great rich colour payoff that's long wearing and deeply matte. They're so easy to apply with the crayon format and twist up. I like the simple matte packaging on this as well. I can get about 4-5 hours solid colour wear and I don't it transfers overly.

This balm is amazing and great value for money! It smells great, feels lovely on lips and adds just the right amount of colour. It nourishes dry lips and is a brilliant alternative to lipstick for a more casual look. The shape of the pencil makes it possible to apply without a mirror.

When I wear this it adds a minty-freshness to the feel, taste and scent of my lips.  It comes in a matte-feel tube the match the matte finish of this formula.  The wind-up mechanism makes it easy to keep the product coming (just like the standard wind-up mechanism in a lip balm).  The silver matte end of the tube is turned to wind-up or wind-down the lip balm easily.  The cap fits snuggly so it's safe to carry in a handbag/purse.  I like the colour I have which is a neutral called 'Complex' which is a warm pale-medium shade which is great for an everyday look or to wear with a smokey eye to let the eyes take all the attention.  I wear this during the day mostly but also when I just feel like wearing a pale nude that isn't too pale if that makes any sense.  The colour of the tube itself is exactly the colour of the balm which is a tip to remember when buying this product.  It stays on my lips quite well but is not what I'd call a long-lasting formula.  That I don't mind because it's very pleasant to re-apply this minty-fresh formula and it makes my lips feel so moisturised.  It's a nice light formula that does not feel cakey on my lips and I love that!   There is no added SPF in this formula - it's just a simple matte-finish formula which is non drying, light-feel and an awesome colour that is creamy matte.  

I have a couple of Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm shades and I am impressed. My favourite shade to wear is sultry which is a mauvey/marooney shade and is lovely for winter. I have a fair to medium skin tone and it works well with my skin tone.   The Relvon ColorBurst lip balms come in a crayon like pencil with a twist applicator which is super convenient. These lip balms never need sharpening! Love it when I don’t have to carry a pencil sharpener for my lip products,   The lip balms are really easy to apply, they glide onto your smoothly, and it feels very hydrating and smooth considering it’s a matte look lip product. The lip balms have a fresh minty fragrance, and my lips tingle a little bit when applying the balm.   One to two swipes of this colour stains my lips, and it last for most of the day without needed a touch up. If you want a more pigmented and richer colour you simply apply again. I like that when it’s fading off, it does so evenly and itlooks natural so you don’t need to worry about frequently touching up your lip colour.   Overall,these Revlon balms are great value ad a fun lip product to use everyday. It you like matte lip balms, these Revlon colourburst lip balms are the ones you have to try!   Pros: - easy toapply - pigmented - feelssoft and smooth on your lips - hydrating - affordable    

Love these Revlon Matte Balms, Such an affordable, pigmented and long-lasting every day lipstick. I only have to reapply a tiny bit after a meal, but other than that the formula is fantastic. Keeps my lips conditioned and doesn't shrivel them up even though it's a matte formula. Highly recommend!

I have it in the color 'sultry' and it is such a gorgeous mauve that suits all skin types, it's very comfortable and glides easily on the lips without drying them out. All in all a fantastic product with a great price tag. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants great quality matte lip balm.

This is my holy grail lip product for when I'm doing a no makeup look. I keep one in my purse at all times! It feels incredibly comfortable like a balm and has excellent pigmentation. It leaves my lips looking and feeling incredible, couldn't be happier with it. It's relatively long lasting for a balm like formula and comes in some gorgeous shades that would suit a variety of skin tones. 10/10!

When these Revlon ColorBurst crayons came out I was obsessed with all of them. They have cute packaging and comes with a lot of product. I have the shade Standout and I find that I definitely need to use a lip liner to outline my lips or else it will bleed. It's quite moisturing on my dry lips and the smell is a real winner. The fragrance definitely beats all the other matte lipsticks that I've tried in the past.

This review is for the shade ‘Unapologetic’. These balms received a lot hype when they first came out and for good reason. At $17.95 they are at an affordable price point, especially because they are fantastic quality. The balm itself is a lightweight matte, which is fantastic, because I’ve owned many awful mattes that felt like they were suffocating my lips because of how heavy they were! It glides on really easy, and doesn’t get caught or tug on my lips like other matte lipsticks. It has a pleasant smooth and non-sticky finish, which means I can press my lips together (a habit of mine) without my lips getting stuck together. The smooth finish looks velvety and is similar to the finish NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencils give. It also doesn’t dry my lips out hugely, which is incredible for a matte lipstick! At around the 5hr mark I apply some lipbalm as my lips start to feel a little bit dry, but that stops any further dryness in it’s tracks - I can wear Revlon’s balm stick all night long from this point without any discomfort! I do find that I need to reapply after eating or drinking, which is common for most lipsticks.  I am also okay with reapplying because Revlon hasn’t made any longevity or waterproof claims. The colour ‘Impassioned’ is gorgeous - a vibrant reddy-pink. I actually own MAC’s coveted Party Parrot and the two are an exact colour match! The colour really brightens up my complexion and compliments my brown eyes and blonde hair. I’m really impressed with the colour selection over all - there are trendy colours (such as the purple), staple colours (nudes, pinks), and bright additions. I think one aspect that could be improved is a sharpening option as once the tip blunts you can’t resharpen it (so I have to apply it with a lip brush to get clean edges). The print on the tube also rubs off, which is aesthetically annoying. However, the plastic tube is lightweight, and is sturdy - I haven’t noticed any cracking of the lid which is common when a brand has used cheaper materials - so I can tell that Revlon have invested money in the packaging.

Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm comes in a crayon like packing with twist function. I love its packing as I do not need to sharp it. The lip colour has light smell which I like. It is highly pigmented, one swipe is enough to show intense colour. It provides full coverage, the colours show well on my naturally pigmented lips. It gives me completely matte finish with out looking creamy or glossy. These lip colours transfer a little bit which is normal for solid lipsticks.  Although these are matte but still the formula is non drying and hydrating. My lips are always dry and dehydrated, usually matte lipsticks make them worse.  The case is different with these lip colours, they keep them hydrated with out accentuating dry patches and lines.   Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balms are truly long lasting, they last up to 8 hours on my lips with eating and drinking. They leave a pigmented stain upon disappearing, even they last longer if I properly seal them   Overall, I really like  Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm, I bought few different shades and all of them are great. In short, they are highly pigmented, hydrating and long lasting, what else I want. I highly recommend them, these are my dream lip colours.
