Rebecca Harding says this beauty treatment is her secret to healthy-looking skin

Australian Beauty Rebecca Harding’s Favourite Skin Care Treatment

Exclusive: She gets one every four to six weeks

Beauty Crew Beauty Editor / November 04 2019

Melbourne has no shortage of beauty icons it seems, and our obsession is fuelled further with Rebecca Harding. She first caught our attention as the other half to Andy Lee, and we’re so pleased to see that she’s a staple on red carpets (have you seen all the stunning gowns she’s worn to events like the Logies?!). The social media star is also a beauty buff through and through; so much so that she's been named as a brand advocate for SkinCeuticals. We caught up with Rebecca recently to get the lowdown on her beauty routine and more.

On her first encounter with beauty...
"My first encounter with beauty was watching my mum get ready before heading out as a young girl. I still get nostalgic when I smell Christian Dior ‘Dune’ because she’d always pop a quick spritz on as she headed out the door. I’m obsessed with beauty because of how it can alter your mood instantly."

On the first beauty product she ever tried...
"My very first beauty product was most likely a Lipsmacker lip gloss. Who else remembers them? I think there was a watermelon flavour that was my favourite? I would save up my tooth fairy and pocket money to buy them."

On the beauty products she can't live without...
"My number one, all-essential is the SkinCeuticals Simply Clean Gel Cleanser. I’ve been using it morning and night for five years now. It provides a thorough cleanse and keeps any pimples at bay, but it’s not too harsh on my sensitive skin.

My other essentials are the SkinCeuticals AOX Eye Gel because of its ability to brighten and depuff the eye area (giving an illusion of ample sleep). I also love a good sunscreen! La Roche-Posay’s Anthelios XL Ultra-Light Fluid SPF 50+ provides very high protection and is so lightweight… the perfect makeup base!

The By Terry Baume de Rose. It’s my favourite lip balm. It’s super hydrating and not too sticky. If I have any leftover on my finger after applying it, I’ll rub it into my cuticles."

On her favourite beauty ritual of all time...
"A SkinCeuticals Hydrafacial every four to six weeks with Mai at Cosmetic 1 (Armadale, Melbourne). After my treatments, I apply SkinCeuticals’ hydrating and soothing Phyto Corrective Gel. I’m in expert hands at the clinic, and my skin has never looked better!”

On the biggest beauty mistake she ever made...
"Letting someone over-shape my eyebrows; it was the era of the Kardashian brow. I literally don’t let anyone touch them anymore. Now I just use a clear brow gel from Hourglass at Mecca and brush them up to keep them in place, that’s it!"

On her secret to having perfect-looking hair...
"A good cut and dry shampoo. A good cut allows low maintenance and dry shampoo extends your blow-wave. My hair is constantly subjected to hot styling tools for work, so applying a reparative conditioning treatment once a week helps keep it strong and healthy."
