Did Rosie Huntington-Whiteley just give us a sneak peek at the next cult skin care product?

With new beauty products being released on the daily, it can be a little hard to get excited about yet another product marketed as ‘the next big thing in beauty’.

However, there are certain brands that have such a cult reputation that rumours of a new product from them instantly piques our interest.

Enter: Augustinus Bader.

This uber-luxe brand has garnered the love and attention of beauty lovers and celebs alike. The secret to its success is its award-winning formula (created by Professor Augustinus Bader of Leipzig University who is one of the world's leading stem cell and biomedical scientists), which targets and enhances the body’s natural ability to repair tissue.

Just to give you an idea of how good its products are, the Augustinus Bader The Cream was recently named the Best Moisturiser for 2019 by Glamour and ‘Best in Beauty’ by British Vogue, and Kate Bosworth says “my skin craves this!”.

Not bad for a brand that only has two products to its name: The Cream and The Rich Cream.

Well, now it seems that Augustinus Bader is looking to expand its limited range by adding a body cream – as revealed by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley who managed to garner a sneak peek at a lab sample when she was snooping inside the bathroom of Cassandra Grey, founder of luxury beauty retailer Violet Grey. In an Instagram Story, Rosie shared this: “Lab sample @augustinusbader Body Cream from @violetgrey @cassandragrey.”

Packaged simply in a glass tub with a white lid and label that read: LAB SAMPLE – AUGUSTINUS BADER THE BODY CREAM for Cassandra Grey 29 of 50.

It’s no surprise that Grey has been involved in the final testing stages of the product; Violet Grey is the epicentre of luxury beauty in the U.S. and is the exclusive retailer of Bader’s products in the country. In fact, when Violet Grey initially launched the brand in-store and online, Grey admitted to The Cut that it caused a “frenzy, it was a really overwhelming response”, and that it quickly became a best-seller.

Given that the body cream is still in testing stages, we inevitably still have some time to wait before it hits the market, but we can’t help but predict that this latest offering from the cult-favourite brand is set to win the hearts of celebrities and civilians alike.

Rosie’s not the only one coveting Augustinus Bader products. On the advice of Aussie facialist Melanie Grant, Kim Kardashian has added the luxe moisturiser to her routine.
