From singing with Bardot to looking for love on The Bachelorette Australia, Sophie Monk has led a life with many facets. She can sing, she can act, and she’s appeared in a slew of television series and films, as well as having hosted radio talk shows.

Now, Sophie is adding yet another couple of strings to her bow with an exciting new beauty gig as MCoBeauty’s ambassador.

But that’s not all. In a project close to her heart, Sophie is also set to launch her very own affordable lip products with MCoBeauty.

“Growing up I remember not having enough money to buy the makeup I wanted, I got stuck with what I could afford. It resulted in half my eyelids peeling off by the time I got any colour from the pencil. The lipsticks were weirdo shades so I started making my own with a tinsy bit of red food colouring as a stain and Vaseline as a gloss bcs it looked better. I dreamed of buying high end, quality make up. All I wanted is for it to be affordable. FINALLY bloody MCo NAILED IT and it’s cruelty free,” wrote Sophie in an Instagram post about her upcoming product launch.

“We worked really hard to bring something we feel is special. I really hope you love this line as much as I do. I’m so proud and happy I did this for the younger me and others who want quality product at an affordable price.”

And, it seems that luxe-but-affordable brief was totally nailed. The MCoBeauty PoutGloss by Sophie Monk features three luxe-looking lip gloss shades that will retail for just $14.

So pretty, right?!

If you’re keen to get your hands on these goodies, MCoBeauty PoutGloss by Sophie Monk launches at mcobeauty.com on 13 September and at 900 Woolworths stores nationally from 30 September.
