The biggest hair trend this season? Braids and plaits... and obviously so; they’re able up the cool factor to any outfit you put on. Take our word for it.
This braided ‘do will work in your favour if you’re only able to do a reverse French braid (when the braid sticks out). Take diagonal sections, braid, and pop it all in place with a handful of bobby pins.
We heard a collective WOW in the office when we shared this pic around. To get the look, separate two sections from each side of your head, braid together until they meet in the middle, then braid it all together into one, thick plait.
Moncler Gamma Rouge
Here’s something to try if you’ve got short hair. Divide your hair into two high pigtails, plait, then secure in place with some bobby pins. Seal the look with a generous amount of hairspray to minimise flyaways.
Beginner at braids? No worries. Take a large one-inch section on either side of your head, plait loosely (and gather a small amount of hair as you twist), and tie an elastic around the two sections when they meet at the back of your head.
Trapstar x Puma
This look is extra effective on super-long hair lengths. Take a small section around your ear, and braid it from the nape of your neck to your face. Be warned, it’s a tricky style to master, so grab a friend to help you out if you need.
Marco de Vincenzo
Can’t decide between a bun or some braids? Why not have both. Our best tip: if your hair isn’t long enough, use some good quality hair extensions, and pop them right under your bun so they’re undetectable.
Creatures Of The Wind
It seems that reverse French braids are here to stay. Get the look by dividing your hair down the middle, then braid your hair really tightly and in a diagonal direction, so the braids finish on either side on your neck.
