Our favourite celeb hair transformations of 2018

The thank u, next singer is known for her mermaid-long hair iconic high ponytail, so we were floored when she debuted this shoulder-length lob back in November.

The ex-Gossip Girl star hasn’t changed up her look much since her Blair Waldorf days, but in 2018 we got not one, but *two* excellent hair transformations from her – the platinum overhaul, and more recently a gorgeous honey and caramel coloured lob.

So technically Mandy Moore’s ‘70s-inspired curtain fringe was just a temporary change, but we’re still throwing it in here because it’s just too good.

Ever since we knew her as Lara Bingle, she’s had some shade of blonde hair, but this year, Mrs. Worthington gave her hair a rusty brunette makeover and we’re kinda obsessed with it.

What’s a girl to do when the Northern Hemisphere winter turns icy? Go ice blonde of course. And naturally she documented the entire process for her followers (just in case you thought going this blonde was a quick process!)

Beauty guru and founder of Go-To skin care Zoe Foster Blake didn’t only go shorter and darker, but 2018 was the year she embraced her natural curls and proved to curly-haired girls around the globe that a fringe with natural texture can work.

It’s truly hard to tell when any of the Kardashian-Jennerss have had a real hair makeover or if it’s the work of a wig, but this cute bob seemed like the real deal when Kim K tweeted, “Wait I miss my long hair.”

If any celeb seems to play it safe in the hair colour department, it’s Anne Hathaway, which is why were pleasantly surprised when she debuted this lighter colour.

There’s no denying that 2018 was the year of the platinum blonde makeover, with Rose Byrne also taking the plunge.
