In 2020 alone, gen Z’s fave social media platform, TikTok, has given us a myriad of ingenious beauty hacks including #SockCurls, the dental floss blackhead removal method, and the foundation application trick that legit makes your skin look filtered IRL.

Now, TikTok has delivered yet another invaluable beauty lesson and it’s blowing up the Internet thanks to its ability to make your brows look full, fluffy and flawless using a budget toiletry product:

The soap brow method, as demoed by TikTokker @barbbeautyyyy.

Here’s how to do it:

Step #1 / “Spray with a setting spray, or water, don’t make it too wet,” says @barbbeautyyyy. Her soap of choice is Pears Soap Transparent.
Step #2 / Dab an eyebrow spoolie into the wet soap and brush the hairs up - “the hairs will stick up because of the soap,” explains @barbbeautyyyy.
Step #3 / Once you’ve brushed the brows up, you’ll then want to slightly brush them horizontally from the centre of the brow outwards.
Step #4 / Dry the soap. @barbbeautyyyy uses a small handheld fan but you could also use your hair dryer on the cool shot setting with a low speed.
Step #5 / Fill your brows in using your go-to eyebrow pencil to create hairlike strokes. We like L’Oréal Paris Brow Artist Xpert.
Step #6 / To give your brows an extra crisp look, clean underneath using a cotton tip followed by a swipe of concealer to finish. Morphe Fluidity Full-Coverage Concealer is a great one to try.
