The high-coverage version of a cult-favourite concealer

Here’s what our Review Crew® thought about this luxury concealer pen

The product

The original Yves Saint Laurent Beauté Touche Éclat is a cult favourite amongst beauty lovers for its lightweight formula and unparalleled ability to brighten even the darkest of under-eye circles. But some days call for next-level coverage. The Yves Saint Laurent Beauté Touche Éclat High Cover is the latest innovation from YSL and has retained all the things you love about the original Touche Éclat formula, but with the added benefit of high coverage that works to brighten and conceal dark circles and imperfections simultaneously for a radiant, flawless complexion.

Our panel of Review Crew® members put this product to the test.

The panel

Beauty Crew sent Yves Saint Laurent Beauté Touche Éclat High Cover to a panel of women aged 18 to 45 that were looking to conceal imperfections and dark circles, and perfect their complexions overall.

The lowdown

Here’s what the Review Crew® loved about the high-coverage concealer pen.

The full coverage that the product provided: Review Crew® members loved the level of coverage the concealer pen gave them, with many saying that they actually required less product to cover a larger area of their complexion than they would with their regular concealer. Reviewers noted that their under-eye circles, blemishes, redness and even rosacea were easily concealed with the high-coverage pen.

The finish of the concealer: Reviewers really liked the natural skin-like finish they were able to achieve when using the concealer pen. Our members also loved that the new high cover concealer retained the brightening effects of the original Touche Éclat, adding a radiance to their complexion while also helping to blur the appearance of imperfections.

The hydrating and nourishing formula: Reviewers were impressed by how smooth and blendable the concealer was - with many noting that the moisturising formula helped to keep their skin hydrated without appearing greasy - ensuring the concealer didn’t accentuate dryness or settle into any fine lines.

The verdict

“On the first brush it felt smooth and was highly pigmented so you could see results very quickly. My favourite part about this product is how natural it looks on. The concealer pigments really do reflect light and help brighten the under-eye area.”

“This concealer just blended in so efficiently, covering my dark circles and making my complexion look natural. I love the texture of this concealer; it is so lightweight, yet it feels creamy and hydrating. It does not dry out my under-eye area and does not crease at all. In fact, it remains creamy and fresh [the] whole day long.”

“I have very dark circles, rosacea and a few red spots, and now I can cover everything. I had to practice applying it because with other concealers I had to use a lot to cover a little. Now I just use little dots and my skin is completely perfect.”
