Ashley Graham shares 'stripped' back behind-the-scenes Oscars selfie

The reality of the most glamorous night in Hollywood

The Oscars is arguably the most glamorous event to grace Hollywood.

But Ashley Graham didn’t let the Academy Award’s stuffy reputation disrupt her constant stream of relatable content.

In fact, the red carpet correspondent shared an eye-opening glimpse behind the scenes of a whirlwind 48 hours in LA.

Graham broke the ice with a nude hotel room selfie that appears to have been taken in between her Oscars red carpet and after party looks.

Her elaborate braided updo was let down and left to cascade over her shoulder, while the model’s hands and an Etro handbag were placed strategically to cover any part of her body that might violate Instagram’s nudity guidelines.

In one backstage shot Graham can be seen aggressively gnawing at a snack with her teeth, desperately trying not to ruin her lipstick.

In another, her heels (and those of her peers) appear to have left holes in the Vanity Fair party’s red carpet.

And one image of Graham massaging her feet has prompted us to Google the exact brand of orthopedic socks the model was wearing to relieve the pain of an evening spent on her feet in four inch heels.

We’ll save you the hassle of doing the same — they’re My Happy Feet Blue Foot Alignment Socks ($23.95 USD at My Happy Feet).

Ashley Graham’s red carpet antics weren’t the only thing to catch our eye at the Oscars. We loved Margot Robbie’s American manicure.

Since then, her keen interest in fashion and beauty has landed her gigs as a Digital Content Producer and Beauty Editor with titles like Girlfriend, Refinery29, BEAUTYcrew and beautyheaven. She loves the way seemingly innocuous topics like skin care and style have the ability to put a smile on people’s faces or make them think about themselves a little differently. A big believer in self love and experimentation, Briar has made a point of becoming the Australian beauty industry’s unofficial guinea pig for unusual treatments and daring hair trends. When she’s not testing out the latest beauty launches, Briar is big on broadening her horizons, mostly in the form of food but she’s also partial to travelling to new destinations both near and far (and of course, allocating an extra bag to bring their best beauty offerings home with her).
