What is it: Chanel Le Lift Restorative Oil

Why you need it: It’s official; we’re obsessed with anything to do with good-for-you oils here in the Beauty Crew office - be it facial oils to nourish the complexion, body oils to combat dry and scaly limbs, and even edible ones like coconut oil, which doubles as a body moisturiser and hair treatment. The latest product on our radar is Chanel Le Lift Restorative Oil, a cream that can be used both day and night to address skin’s softness, texture, hydration, fine lines and wrinkles. Even those that usually steer clear of oil-based products will find this formula surprisingly light and refreshing, due to the formula containing oils suspended in a lightweight cream. Clever, huh? That’s all thanks to twelve years of intensive research (we’d expect nothing less from this luxury brand).

What you need to know: Enriching jojoba, meadowfoam and shea butter extract come together to form 30 per cent of this easy-to-absorb formula. In addition to this, you’ll find other anti-ageing ingredients to restore the skin’s barrier function, which in turn smooths out unwanted fine lines and crevices.

How to use it: Work two pumps around the face and neck area with your fingers after your eye cream and serum. To make your cream work even harder, try Chanel’s special lifting movement, where you use fingertips to make energetic strokes from your jawline, cheekbone, temple and forehead.
