The focus in December may be what you’re going to give others for Christmas, but that’s not to say that the new beauty product launches of this month aren’t worth talking about. In fact, we can’t stop spritzing and slathering these stunning products on! Here are our favourite new products of the month that deserve a place in your beauty kit, or a spot under the Christmas tree.
Tiffany & Co Eau de Parfum Holiday Edition
The fact that something is limited edition is generally enough to win us over, and in this case, Tiffany & Co Eau de Parfum Holiday Edition also smells so good we literally suggest running out to buy it. Filled with gorgeous lily and balanced with vert de mandarine, patchouli and musk, this sweet-smelling spritz is housed in a reflective silver bottle that makes it perfect for gifting to yourself or someone special this Christmas.
Ultraceuticals Ultra Smoothing Pore Refiner
While you can’t permanently remove pores (we need them after all - they produce vital oils that nourish the skin’s surface and keep our complexion looking young), you can make enlarged pores appear smaller with the right product. The Ultraceuticals Ultra Smoothing Pore Refiner is formulated with mandelic acid to exfoliate the surface and salicin to strengthen the skin around the tiny pores. Together they help minimise the appearance of pores over time, rather than just filling them temporarily.
OPI x Sophi Odling Brisbane Collection
Living Coral, a vibrant salmon shade, has just been announced as the Pantone Colour of the Year for 2019, and we’re all for it. Our favourite way to get in on the trend this summer is with several coats of the punchy hue on our digits. Just use OPI’s No Stopping Me Now from this gift pack. As for the yellow shade called Enter The Golden Era? Use it as an accent colour on your ring finger, or paint it on all your toes to offset your tropical-inspired manicure.
MAC Eye Shadow x6 in Smoky Sleigh
This eyeshadow palette is from the latest collaboration between MAC and beauty YouTuber Patrick Starrr and has taken us by surprise in terms of its wearability. The mauve and chocolate shades work perfectly as a matte smoky eye, and both the shimmery silver and green colours can be used to line the lower lash line for a festive touch.
Medik8 Micellar Mousse
Micellar water is one of the most celebrated skin cleansing ingredients as it can effectively remove makeup without stripping skin of moisture. The Medik8 Micellar Mousse is a luxurious product infused with micelles to get rid of stubborn makeup, and also features olive oil to nourish and soften.
Oribe Mystify Restyling Spray
This product is nothing like you’ve seen before. Featuring heat-protecting and hydrating ingredients in its light-hold formula, the Oribe Mystify Restyling Spray is perfect for extending the life of your blow-dry or beachy waves without overloading hair with a heavy or sticky setting product. To use, spritz it all over dry hair, then either leave it to air-dry for a more natural effect, or run a hair dryer over your hair to further refresh your hairstyle from the previous day.
Kat Von D Beauty Crushes Glitter Gel in Tosoro Gold
The Kat Von D Beauty Crushes Glitter Gels are known for being fun, practical and bold, and the shade Tosoro Gold is no exception. The yellow-based gold works wonders when patted into eyelids on its own, or it can even be used as a base product to strengthen the colour or hold of other eyeshadows.
Aman Nourishing Rain Face Mist
It was only a matter of time before Aman, one of the most famous hotel chains in the world known for their relaxing retreats, launched its own skin care line. And guess what - it’s as amazing as it sounds. We can’t get enough of the Nourishing Rain Face Mist, which is light and refreshing and contains a special blend of vitamin B12, honey, and yep, even gold, to keep skin toned and looking bright.
