beautyblender are releasing their first ever plant-based, biodegradable sponge

Genius!

Just when we thought beautyblender had cornered the market of top-notch beauty sponges forever (the innovative brand has quite literally released every possible iteration of the makeup necessity), they’ve somehow managed to outdo themselves again this time by taking the environment into account.

The brand is set to release their first ever plant-based BIO PURE beauty sponge, and yes, before you ask it’s biodegradable. We’re not screaming, you’re screaming.

The new renewable plant-based pre-polymer sponge is a delicious shade of leafy green and comes in the classic beautylender egg shape. The main difference to the OG? It’s  made from BioPlush™ foam derived from sugarcane. Plus, if that weren’t already cool enough, the packaging is made from recycled resins and is produced using less water waste and reduced CO2 emissions. Obsessed.

Available now at Sephora Australia for a cool $28, this is one to snag, if not for yourself, then for ol’ dear Mother Earth amiright?

That's not the only cool beuaty sponge on offer atm. You can now get a beauty blender personalised with your zodiac sign.
