Warm hugs, chunky knits and sunny days in a spritz

Scent is a powerful ol’ thing in times of crisis. And while it may not be magical enough to protect you from the wrath of COVID-19 itself, a particular fragrance might just protect you from those pandemic blues.
Because no matter who you are, those blues are REAL right now. Some of us might be missing particular people, longing to be in certain places (hello, Europe), worried about careers, or just feeling super stressed and anxious. And we get it – ‘cause we’re right there with you.
While some of our favourite people, places and experiences might be missing from our lives for the time being, we’ve found some fragrances that will fill that void and provide a sense of comfort and relaxation during these manic times.
So, spray the good perfume. Take a deep breath. You’ve got this.
Bubble Bath by Maison Margiela Replica EDT
Whether you’ve been blessed with the presence of a tub or not, Bubble Bath by Maison Margiela Replica is a perfume that brings the bubbles and relaxation to you. Mixing the scent of soap, comfort and purity, this eau de toilette is full of comforting clean accords that evoke the feeling of slipping into a warm, sparkling bubble bath. It features notes of jasmine, bergamot and white musk for a truly serene experience.
Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Daisy Petals EDT
Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Daisy Petals EDT is not only super cute (it’s a new limited edition 20mL size that fits perfectly in the palm of your hand), but its fruity, floral notes make it the perfect substitute for that seaside longing. With notes of blackberries, lychee, coconut water and white woods, it’s soft, refreshing and will give you some soothing summer nostalgia.
Elie Saab Le Parfum Essentiel EDP
A soft bouquet of white florals, Elie Saab Le Parfum Essentiel EDP features fresh notes of mandarin, making it a radiant and luminous fragrance that feels bright, happy and uplifting. A new interpretation of its signature perfume, this delicate scent is the perfect pick-me-up for those mornings when you’re feeling a bit blah.
Jo Malone London Waterlily Cologne
With notes of neroli, waterlily and musk, Jo Malone London Waterlily Cologne smells just as relaxing as it sounds. Pristine, clean and florally, it legitimately smells like you’re walking through THE Secret Garden, before sitting by a pond full of dewy petals. It’s beautiful.
Lumira La Primavera Parfum
Boasting a vibrant bouquet of jasmine, lily, rose leaf and patchouli, Lumira La Primavera Parfum is supported by a comforting powdery cashmere musk that almost feels like pulling on a fluffy sweater or curling up on the sofa under a cosy blanket. It’s soft, warm and feels like mum’s hugs – even if they’re a little far away.
Sunshine by Amouage EDP
Sunshine and the feeling of joy, pretty much go hand in hand. But being stuck indoors makes it hard to capture that same feeling. Sunshine by Amouage is the next best thing. It offers notes like artemisia, almond, blackcurrant and jasmine and will have you feeling like you’re laying down in the park on a summer’s day, lapping up the light and warmth of the sun.
Elizabeth Arden White Tea Mandarin Blossom EDT
Delightfully simplistic, this light and floral fragrance from Elizabeth Arden is warm, airy and fresh. The hint of mandarin offers a crisp, citrusy twist, making you feel like that Mediterranean escape isn’t so far off after all.
Herbae par L’Occitane L’Eau EDT
This delicate scent from L’Occitane pretty much smells like you’re walking through a field of white flowers on a warm evening. With notes of bergamot, jasmine and marshmallow extract, the scent is soft, delicate and fluffy.
Van Cleef & Arpels Gardenia Pétale EDP
Composed of clean, white florals like gardenia, jasmine and lily of the valley, this uncomplicated fragrance from Van Cleef & Arpels is literally springtime in a bottle. It recreates the smell of white petals on bare branches, and the crisp air on your face. It’s simple, decadent and is the perfect escape.
