Attention beauty enthusiasts! Beloved K-beauty-inspired skincare brand Glow Recipe is set to launch a new, exciting product that promises to be a game-changer in your makeup routine. Building on the success of their iconic Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops ($56 at MECCA), the brand is set to welcome a bronze tinted version that's sure to get beauty lovers excited.

Building off the hype of skin care/makeup hybrid products and the immense popularity of bronzing drops, this new product takes the beloved qualities of the original Watermelon Dew Drops and introduces a bronzing effect.

What do we know about the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Hue Drops?

According to Glow Recipe's website, the Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Hue Drops Tinted Serum is a "multi-use serum features the clinically effective brightening & hydrating ingredients of our best selling Dew Drops, now with a warm hue."

"The sheer, buildable tinted serum, in shade Sun Glow, flatters a wide range of tones for a natural glow that looks healthy, not streaky or patchy," the product description says.

From the looks of their US retailer, they will also retail for the same price as the Dew Drops ($56).

Much like their Dew Drop predecessor, the serum also features the same key ingredients, such as niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and watermelon extract. As an added bonus, the Hue Drops also include addition of Centella asiatica (tiger grass), a popular ingredient in K beauty products that is known to calm the skin.

Glow Recipe Hue Drops product reviews

Interestingly, social media influencers were the first to bring the launch to attention after receiving PR packages featuring the product. TikTok user Aysha Harun was the first to break the news of this exciting new launch, sharing the contents of a Glow Recipe package she was sent “with zero context”.

Based on creators’ videos, the Hue Drops bear the same scent as the OG untinted product, which aims to nourish the skin and deliver a radiant, sun-kissed glow.

Packaged as a bronze-toned version of Glow Recipe’s iconic Dew Drops, the Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Hue Drops already look like a winning product.

“I have no makeup on and this just made my face look so vibrant and beautiful,” Harun said after applying the product.

This was backed up by fellow creator Mikayla Nogueira; “I look like I just got back from a tropical vacation,” she said of the bronzing effect.

As the beauty world eagerly awaits this launch, we’ll be sure to keep our eyes on Glow Recipe's Instagram to await a launch date. Whether used on bare skin, as a primer, or as a glowy bronzer, the Hue Drops promise to be a staple in both your skincare and makeup routine.

Watch this space and get ready to add this must-have item to your beauty arsenal!
